“The studio is in a great location, less then a 5 minute walk to just about everything in the historical district and malecón. We felt very safe, and at night there is a lot of light not only around the studio, but in the street too. The studio itself was just as described and pictured. Very clean, everything worked and was maintained and the decoration made it look like a Pinterest page. We would definitely stay again. Although the hosts did not meet us when we checked in, we had all the details we needed before we arrived and were able to check in with no issues. I would recommend this place to anyone!”

“A tastefully decorated, cozy space with kitchenette and great rooftop patio. It is immaculately clean and has a newly installed closet. Hosts are prompt and extremely helpful. The upgraded WiFi is the fastest, most reliable I have experienced in my 20 years of visiting Loreto. That alone will bring me back again. The beach is three blocks away, if you find the secret passage. It is a 15 minute walk to the centre of Loreto.”

“Tarcilo has three private, independent units in one complex. During our stay we were the only ones on the property. Our apartment was very artful, comfortableand well appointed, with slim but scenic views of both the Sea of Cortez and the desert. It isn't in downtown Loreto, but close, removed just enough to be quiet. It is .3 of a mile west of Highway 1 along the road to San Javiar on the southwest edge of Loreto. It is close to the highly regarded restaurant Sabor!, though the restaurant was closed during our stay. La Giganta Hills Spa shares the same lot, but it also was closed. The bedroom is in the loft, accessible by stairs without a rail on one side. The place feels new, with modern appointments. It is secure behind a gate that is kept closed most of the time to screen off roaming cattle, but the gate is just a minor hindrance coming and going. A coffee maker is available but no coffee, another minor consideration. And, curiously, just one wine glass. But make do and enjoy your wine at the community table outside, on a patio craftily landscaped with local plants. To save yourself a short trek into town, Del Borracho Grill & Salon is just across the street, and while closed during our stay looked to have the potential to provide enough entertainment for the evening. Wifi was excellent, and the unit has the best water pressure and heat of any place we ever have stayed on the Baja. The TV needs better directions. Cyclists will have plenty of company on San Javiar Road out front, a popular draw for anyone who enjoys cycling.”
