Fantastic apartment. If anything, Remi undersells it as there is a great view out of the window of the sea/estuary and hills in the distance as well as it being warm and lovely inside. There is a warm boot room as you enter where you can leave all of your outside clothes and a comfortable corner sofa, well stocked kitchen with coffee machine and everything you need. It is spotlessly clean whilst still feeling homely. Remi allowed us a late checkout and was great at replying to messages. Highly recommended.

Quite spacious for 2 person. And there is an oven, microwave, washing machine, dryer and dishwasher, making the stay very comfortable

All has been amazing and excellent. The rating of quality and price is also excellent though the prices are very high in Longyerabyen, but if the apartment is used by four is ok!!

This airBNB locates on the hill of Longyearbyen. You can access the flat by walking 10-15 minutes from the city centre. Though it's a little bit remote, the landscapes that you see from the living room window is breathtaking and definitely worth your walk! The kitchen is also well equipped with utensils and equipment for cooking meals. The flat is very tidy and you can easily enjoy tranquility during your stay. Kristin is a very kind host that replies us swiftly and guide our way in finding the apartment. She also did us a flavour by allowing us to check-in 1 hour earlier than original. We are thankful for her warm hospitality. Overall it is a very cosy stay. If you are carrying big luggages and the weather is snowing, please consider take taxi from airport to the airBNB directly and the cost shall be around 200 NOK only. It would be easy to walk down to city centre and go back to airBNB on foot if the weather is good. You can also take good pictures when getting down the hill.

Christian was very friendly and helpful. The lodge is so cosy and we much preferred the authentic Svalbard experience over a hotel. While basic (no bathroom or running water etc) we were provided with fresh drinking water and the outdoor toilet was heated and easy to use. It is walkable to the town, though I preferred to pay for a 120-150kr to the town. My partner walked it a few times though.

I had a great stay at the apartment. Instead of the original 5 people, there were only 4 of us in the end. That was so perfect with the rooms. The apartment is very nicely decorated. There is enough storage space for all the thick winter clothes and enough space to relax after a tiring day of excursions. The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher 😊 Martin responded very quickly and accommodatingly to every question and booking change. Thanks again! We had a wonderful stay there and I highly recommend it.

Cozy apartment, spacious for 2 persons Nicely decorated, we felt at home right away. Well equipped, easy to find what we needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Nice and cozy apartment to retreat to after a lot of outdoor activity. Flexible checkout. We had a great time and it was sad to travel!!

Yngve’s place is superb, the best place to stay in Longyearbyen. The apartment is charming, sunny, spacious for two, well equipped, warm, well located. Yngve responds instantly, a very helpful host. I recommend it without reservation, I will certainly come back! Ram.
