I've stayed at a lot of Airbnb's - more than 30. So when I say Allison & David were the best hosts I've ever had, it means something. The day we arrived, they greeted us at the door, introduced us small and friendly chihuahuas, and showed us around the place. The interior was in amazing shape, especially for a 350 year old building! They had bread with homemade jam for us in the fridge (delicious) which we enjoyed over our 3 days there. Me and my travel companions loved chatting with them in the morning and getting local tips, including several restaurant recommendations. On a day where we had transportation issues, David was grabbing his keys to bring us down the road before we even had a chance to ask. The home was truly beautiful but the hosts really made the trip for us. I know we would love to come back if we ever have a chance.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Caroline et Gordon ! Nos hôtes ont été très chaleureux et extrêmement attentionnés ! Le gîte est très confortable : le canapé, les fauteuils, la literie sont idéaux pour se détendre et se reposer. La maison est pleine de charme et sa propreté est irréprochable. Le jardin est bien équipé pour passer de très bons moments, rien ne manque ! L'environnement du gîte est très paisible, le cadre est idéal pour les amoureux de la nature. De nombreuses promenades sont possibles, ainsi que des activités ludiques dans le gîte. Nous recommandons vivement !!

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

Super accueil Campagne magnifique Le gite est tres sspacieux et quelque soit la meteo il y a de quoi faire : balades, visites , decouvertes... et bien sur la salle de jeu ( billard airsocker, babyfoot...) et les activites sur place : foot, badminton/volley, petit accobranche. On a adoré le feu dans le poele et les attentions déco pour noel.... Merci ppur ce beau sejour

Magnifique endroit, tellement paisible !! Nous avons passé un super séjour chez Helen et Gideon. La maison est très bien equipé, les hôtes sont très gentils ! Ils ont preparé un 'welcome pack' avec plein de bonnes choses et le petit cahier avec des recommandations et infos est super utile aussi !! Le paysage autour est magnifique. Catherine et Michel sont disponibles et très gentils. Nous avons choisi leur dépendance dans le cadre du FIBD. Bien qu'un peu excentré, leur logement cozy et chaleureux a été tout à fait accessible en utilisant les bus (15min de la gare d'Angoulême) pendant tout le festival. Un grand merci !

Petit loft parfait pour se poser et se reposer au calme. Logement très propre et bien agencé. Le petit plus avec la terrasse privée. Très bien situé, en plein cœur de la ville avec à deux pas tout les commerces. Échange très agréable, je reviendrai au prochain déplacement ici :).

A very comfortable stay in a beautiful location. We stayed in the Terrace Apartment which was tastefully decorated, very clean and welcoming. The supplied cold water and milk were so helpful as it meant we could make an emergency cup of tea to start our day before heading to the supermarket! All toiletries and tea and coffee supplied! Would definitely stay again.

Gorgeous Gite in Dordogne, Private Pool & Fibre

The gite was lovely and Lynn and Nicola were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we had to leave after a few days because my elderly husband had banged his head on the low doorway (despite it being labelled as low), stunned him and cut his head open. In view of his history of subdural haematoma this was worrying. And then he missed the low step into the bedroom and went flying, injuring his hand and chin. We thought it too risky to stay on but this was our problem, not the gite's. We were really sorry to have to leave. The garden was ideal for our dogs. The neighbourhood was pretty, and historic with some nice walks. We enjoyed exploring the countryside. We would not hesitate to recommend the gite although perhaps not so much for people with limited mobility.

Ann a été très disponible, et a été très arrangeante (notamment sur notre heure d'arrivée, mille mercis pour ça) Le logement est très grand, nous avons séjourné à 14 (9 adultes et 5 enfants) et nous ne manquions pas de place (excepté peut être sur la table de la cuisine par temps de pluie) L'extérieur est immense, et idéal pour les enfants. La piscine est grande et son accès bien sécurisé. La game room avec fléchettes, ping ping, badminton... et la bike room avec vélo à dispo sont vraiment un plus.
