Close to restaurants, supermarkets, etc. A basic place, however for a trip to the beach is what you need. Pura Vida!

Quite nice place and super close to black beach, practically across the street. Also 100 meters from a bike rental. Very quiet and very quiet.

Hernan is very friendly and helpful. Even though we had to use a translator, the communication was very good :)). The place was clean and looked really nice! The mattress on the ground floor makes a lot of noise, so it was a bit difficult to sleep on it. The kitchen could be better equipped with dishes and a kettle. The area is quiet and peaceful, it seemed very safe. The nearest restaurants were about half an hour walk. I had issues to close the door, but I trust Hernan will fix it for future guests. I was a bit afraid after reading the comment about steep road, but we made it with normal car without any problem.

Excellent , very close to all commerce and banks . Very clean , tidy place with everything you need to be able to cook and prepare a good coffee . We forgot an electronic device, communicated with host Sebastian and told us that he found it and I'll keep it. Very good attention and he was always very attentive and took care of our calls when we wanted to contact him. It will definitely be our first choice when we return to the city .

Very nice hosts. The place is small but great for one or two people. Equipped kitchen, small bathroom, relatively comfortable bed. hosts were very friendly and responsive in fixing a shower head that was not warming the water properly. Relatively easy to get an Uber or taxi leaving the place but coming down from higher in the mountain is not so easy to find a ride. Hitchhiking is an option, but prepare to walk if you don't have a car.

We had initially booked another of Gilberto's properties but he suggested that we change our reservation to this one, which also saved us a few dollars. We were very happy with our stay here. Everything was exactly as depicted in the listing. The pillows were a bit uncomfortable but that is really our only complaint. Location was great, a quick walk to a few convenience stores and restaurants. Also located just a short drive to the beach or to the downtown area. Walking to the beach would have been about 20 minutes and doable however we chose to drive. The staff at the property were very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Roger’s home was very pleasant to stay. The communication was awesome and Kenneth went above and beyond to help us with a ride after checkout. Definitely recommend!!

Everything was perfect. Ivan is very approachable and makes you feel right at home. In addition, his recommendations were always very helpful in knowing where to go and how to get there. If you arrive with dirty clothes, don't worry because it has a washer and dryer so you can continue your trip with everything as if it were the first day. The house is also very conveniently located and you can walk everywhere in the village. To get to Cahuita or Punta Uva you will need to rent something or get around by taxi because they are further away from the village. We would definitely repeat without thinking.

Very good service from the owner, flexible and very attentive, always responds quickly. The cabin is very organized and cozy, excellent value for money.

Very cozy spot. Better for a couple instead of with a friend because the “sofa bed” is just a thin lumpy mattress on the floor with no pillows provided. The pillows on the bed are terrible, the bed is super soft and comfy. The kitchen has basic supplies and is again quite small. Oil, salt, pepper is not included. Grab bags to replace trash and paper towels when getting groceries, there’s one towel in the kitchen and no trash bags. The stove didn’t work successfully too, there was a burner that never got hot. The laundry room may be locked and need to request be opened, there is liquid to use. The entire spot is super clean! Many hosts will read your messages and not respond. Only one will be your contact. Shower is good, great pressure, water gets super hot. The pool isn’t really able to use because it’s full of many plant particles. Over all the host was accommodating and helpful when asked for anything but the space itself was extra small and lacked any special touches.

El Paso del Tucán is a great place to stay while doing activities in the Perez Zeledón area. It is located near downtown and its host Alexander is very kind and attentive. The place is very nice, with excellent decor and comfort. We would stay in this beautiful apartment again. The view of the terrace is spectacular.

The communication was perfect, with clear instructions on how to get there, the internet, to bring water in the bottle. They let us stay a little longer on Sunday and check out late (thank you very much). The pool is very cold, which is strange because it is small; there is a puppy that makes too much noise at night and the place is a little far and the street has many gaps, you have to carry a tall car.

I loved the place, the house and its comfort. Everything organized and impeccable, it is a good place and good location everything was close to us in beaches and Porto Viejo centro. Sarah is super nice and attentive. I really recommend the place 100%, I hope to come back and be in this house again ✨❤️

The flat is nice and clean, the view is amazing and Jose is a wonderful host. He's very commited to his pets and he knows a lot about the plants in his garden, so if your new to the area theres a lot he can show you there. Additionally he got some good tips about how to spend your time there, so feel free to ask :)

The second time I visited them, super quiet. A very safe place, I love it.

Vlad was an amazing host who went above and beyond to make me feel at home! He cooked Mexican tacos for me when he had never cooked them before. He looked up a recipe, went to the store and had it ready when I arrived!! He had great recommendations & was just an all around amazing guy! Even sent me on my way with fresh tamales made from his mother! Made a friend for life :)
