Vacation rentals with lake access in Libourne

What a fantastic stay we had in Mauriac. We were very friendly and there was always a quick response to questions. The place is great for people who love peace and space. Our dog was able to walk around safely in the surrounding garden. The house was really equipped with all the comforts. High quality finish of all belongings. Supermarkets and bakeries about 15 minutes away are fine to do. We can recommend everyone to go here!

We spent a weekend with friends at this lovely little house. Anne-Marie is pro-active and does everything to make your sehour go smoothly. Very pleasant bedding, quiet environment. The kitchen is very well equipped, all you have to do is shop and settle in. Don't hesitate, we'll come back sometime. See you soon Anne-Marie!

We had a great time. Everyone is happy with the space. Catherine was responsive and attentive. Great hospitality, with welcome gifts. We plan to go back in the summer to better enjoy the outdoors. Maybe by then there will be a pool (laughs). Thank you very much Catherine.

Enchanting weekend in a true haven of peace… The mill is perfect for gatherings for families or groups of friends, with a very pleasant living room, and beautiful friendly spaces on each floor. Catherine is really a very pleasant and attentive host! We'll be back with pleasure and also to enjoy the outdoors this time. 🤩

It’s our second stay at Stephanie place. Hopefully won’t be the last. We love it there and see the horses so close by. We already thinking of be longer next time, because the surrounding areas are beautiful and so peaceful.

easy to access and indicate on waze. the houseboat is at the dock no deploring. everything was perfect. Gaspard was able to tell us friendly and easy to find routes. excellent restaurants are nearby.

What can I say except that the place is perfect... The choice of comfort and decor is rare in Rbnb so hats off! I would definitely stay again. Friendly host, I recommend it!

We lived the place and Berenice! She was so kind and helpful. The location was great! We explored and relaxed in her beautiful place. The market is conveniently two doors down too. Such a wonderful place, we’d definitely stay there again.

Janine's property suited us perfectly. Walks from the property, supermarket (very good) nearby, award-winning pastry chef not too far away..... Bourg is a beautiful and interesting place and some of the Côte de Bourg wines are exceptional. Well located for Blaye - the citadel, the cliff, the ferry to cross the Gironde. The house is warm and cozy, but the electricity needs a little update, which we think will happen in the near future. The garden was perfect for dogs and there are great views from the patio which, in hot weather, would probably have been contemplated at leisure! Janine is friendly and responds quickly. We rarely go back to the properties but this could be an exception! A big thank you Janine and - maybe - see you soon.

Almost don’t want to say how lovely, as will make it more competitive to book to go back! In a word - glorious! - The gite, gardens and grounds and pool are kept beautifully. Gite was spotless and very well equipped (including lots of goodies on arrival, garden games to use there - kids were very happy - charcoal ready for the bbq etc), huge comfortable beds, and wood fired hot tub to sit and look at the stars. - Stunning surrounding views (endless fields of sunflowers) and lovely shady woods to be walk. - Lots of pretty villages - particularly Aubeterre with its central square and river beach worth the short drive (under 20 mins). We also loved the big river beach at St Aulaye (c.40 mins). - Meg and Mark are kind, fun and knowledgeable hosts who were perfect balance of around and incredibly helpful - but very much left us to just relax and enjoy the gite/pool as our own. - Shopping v easy at local supermarkets, various markets and nearby village shop/butchers. Thank you!!

This is a special place for those seeking peaceful surroundings, in an idyllic hamlet stepped in history. There is a brilliant swimming lake nearby, perfect for exercise and cooling down in and local woodland walks too. You can also just sit and read in the ample outside space and listen to the sounds of nature. Just let the stresses of life roll by! Furthermore the host and gardener live close by and both are warm and friendly.

Nice little apartment, really very well equipped, quietly located. On the terrace you can sit comfortably in the evening, in front of the river there is also a nice sitting area to enjoy the sunset. In the living room there is a guest bed, this is more suitable for children, with the weight of an adult it sags too much and is not so comfortable. But since we planned it as a bed for the children anyway, it was sufficient for us. Eric and his wife were very nice and warm. The area offers the possibility of many wine tastings, it is not far to Bordeaux and there is also a lot to explore in the area.

We spent a lovely relaxing week in this beautiful part of the world as the start to our holiday with our 3 daughters aged 16, 14 and 10. Great cottage and pool, fantastic and attentive hosts (David and Carol) and easy proximity to Duras / night markets / supermarkets etc. Our daughters loved Bella the Goose who kept them entertained! We had a pleasant stay during a family reunion in this very pleasant cottage, perfectly suited for a group of 15 people. The house is impeccably clean, very comfortable, and ideally located in a peaceful setting by the river. The fireplace, with the logs provided, added a nice atmosphere to our evenings. The kitchen is perfectly equipped, which made group meals very easy to organize. Yohann, our host, was remarkable: attentive, available and always eager to meet our needs. He recommended a pleasant hike ending with tapas in a cellar near the house. Thanks to Yohann for hosting us. We recommend this cottage without a second thought and will be happy to come back!
