Perfect little 1bedroom, very spacious with two decks for entertainment, lots of lawn space for kids to run around, beach views are amazing from the front patio. Sunsets were absolutely beautiful. And the kaimoana never disappoints here in Tora đ đŁ đŠ Wish we had booked for longer, next time đ

Winter is here, enjoy country warmth and comfort.
We stayed for a long weekend for a girls weekend and to do a long day walk on a Saturday. Beautiful spot to relax for a weekend or if youâre planning a hike around the area. The cottage had everything we needed and more and we definitely left feeling like we had a mini vacation! Richard was great at communicating and making sure our time spent at the cottage was wonderful. The pool was an absolute treat after our hike and the spa also to stargaze. Thank you!

All About Levin
Levin is an agricultural community in the ManawatĆ«-Wanganui region near the southern tip of New Zealandâs North Island, where the Tasman Sea and majestic Tararua mountain range provide the backdrop for an array of outdoor activities. Several sandy stretches, including the popular HĆkio Beach, dot Levinâs coastline. WaitÄrere Beach is ideal for swimming, paddleboarding, and fishing for snapper, grouper, and flounder. Kayakers will especially enjoy paddling along Waikawa Beachâs estuary.
In the town center, youâll find an array of antique stores and thrift shops, cafes and eateries, and a cinema with a coffee and wine bar. Thereâs also a wealth of hiking trails through the surrounding forests catering to varying skill levels.
The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Levin
Levin experiences a mild climate with balmy temperatures throughout the year. Remember that seasons in the Southern Hemisphere are opposite to those of North America. Temperatures typically dip between May and September, so you may want to pack an extra layer or two if youâre planning to visit during the winter months. Scattered showers and rainfall are common throughout the year, regardless of the season, so itâs best to always pack rain gear.
The Levin Christmas Market in November features live music and a variety of stalls offering homemade goods, crafts, and food. In February, Levin hosts its annual Medieval Market, featuring 200 medieval-themed craft and food stalls and folk in costume and chainmail, staging battle re-enactments. Just a 10-minute drive from town, every third Saturday of the month, youâll find the Ćhau Market, a gathering spot for local farmers, artists, and musicians. The market features locally grown produce, baked goods, pickles and preserves, and handmade crafts and gifts.
