Vacation rentals in Leitholm

A lovely apartment in the Scottish Borders which was absolutely spotless. The photos didn’t do the place justice. A good location with an excellent restaurant, The Contented Vine which I would highly recommend. Lauren was very responsive and answered queries swiftly.

Wonderful location with beautiful views. The cabin was really cosy and warm. The shower was really hot too which was good after a long walk. The hot tub was amazing!

Amelia was a great host and gave us lots of information before arriving. We loved our stay. The tiny home had everything we could have needed- they really have thought of everything! We felt right at home!

We loved the place - it was characterful, comfortable and peaceful. Also very clean and well ordered. It was also spacious, considering it was for a couple. There was a large work space on the upstairs gallery, two sofas in the sitting room, and a large dining table near the kitchen area. We will definitely stay there again.

Absolutely lovely and relaxing stay at Lazyday Cottages, really recommend! Gordon and Andrea were very accommodating and kind hosts. Everything lovely and clean and relaxing, underfloor heating nice and warm, hot tub and sauna were a lovely treat! Very private and secluded even with the other cabins. A little expensive but worth it every so often to relax and have luxury amenities. Not too far from Berwick had some amazing food at Foxtons, and a lovely day out seeing Holy Island!

We had the most wonderful stay, Trish provided everything you could need and more! The cottage is so peaceful and private and yet is just a 5 minute drive from the town. It was everything we wanted. The cottage has everything you need if you want to cook or do laundry, and it was so handy to be able to keep on top of washing with a toddler. Trish was incredibly helpful and was always available if we needed anything, but we didn’t as everything had already been thought of! We would absolutely come back to the cottage the next time we visit again, thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

I spent a week in Linnett Cottage on Thornton Farm, primarily as a work writing retreat, but with the secondary aim of exploring the beautiful Northumbrian countryside. This was an ideal location for both at a beautiful time of year. The cottage was super clean, warm and comfortable, and overlooked a field variably occupied by sheep, chickens, guinea fowl and ravens. The only thing it didn’t have that one might find useful was a washing machine, but Laura kindly offered to do a load for me with the linens, which meant that literally nothing was lacking! Laura is very friendly and was great on the communication before and during my stay, but largely left me to my own devices: the perfect balance. She even provided me with an office chair from her own office, and cleaned Linnett early on the day of my arrival so that I could sneak in early. I would stay here again without hesitation. It represents fantastic value in a great spot run by an excellent host.
