Vacation home rentals in Lasithi

We (father, two children) booked Yanna's house for 9 days in April 2025. Yanna and her husband Yiannis gave us a warm welcome, and check-in was very easy. The house is beautifully situated on a hillside with an east-facing view toward the sunrise. You quickly learn to appreciate breakfast on the patio! The house was very clean, equipped with everything you need, and had comfortable beds. The highlight is certainly the outdoor area, which has been lovingly designed. The old coastal road is below the property, and traffic can be a bit annoying during the day on weekdays. However, it is quiet at night and on the weekends. A car is essential; it's a 10-15-minute drive to Agios Nikolaos (pleanty of restaurants and supermarkets). Yanna can give good tips for restaurants in the area. Cretan hospitality is well known, but Yanna and Yiannis have taken it to the next level!

We had the most amazing experience staying at this Airbnb! The house was absolutely stunning with breathtaking views that made every morning special. It was beautifully maintained and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly set this place apart, though, were the incredible hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure our trip was perfect. From arranging convenient transportation from the airport in Heraklion to renting us their car—which was spotless and ideal for exploring Crete—everything was seamless and stress-free. Their warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Crete. We can’t wait to come back!

A lovely place for stay. We were 3 adults, a toddler and a baby. We felt very welcomed and enjoyed Yanna’s hospitality. A beautiful view to the sea, lots of toys for our kids, close to beautiful beaches, tavernas, ruins and other sites. Fantastic.

Thank you for your hospitality. The owners helped us with the transfer from the airport and greeted us with wine and homemade cake, it was very nice. The apartment is great, has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The sandy beach is less than 5 minutes away. Beautiful promenade with lots of shops, restaurants and transport rental. I recommend to visit and have a good holiday!

On site, we were greeted by a very nice lady who gave us great excursion tips. She was there every day for questions and recommendations and took a lot of time for the guests. In addition, the entire facility was very clean and well maintained. At the stand there are free loungers with umbrellas, which we almost always had to ourselves. On foot you can reach several nice taverns right on the stand. We booked a rental car through Claudia, which we used daily and would therefore recommend.

We stayed at the property for 2 weeks. Everything was super nice, the hosts warm and helpful and always responsive. The houses are beautifully decorated, the pool also offered a nice refreshment on lazy days. Surrounding are great restaurants, from 5 minutes in the next village or even up to half an hour in a very delicious fish restaurant. Our 3 children are now teenagers, but everything would have been childproof for smaller children. We have absolutely nothing to complain about and would be happy to come back. A warm family and a great place to enjoy a relaxing vacation. Thank you for the great time 💜

The house was very clean, spacious, very nicely decorated. The area combines mountain and sea. It offers tranquility and rest from the noise of the city. We enjoyed our coffee and meals while gazing at the lush olive groves and the bell tower of Our Lady, alongside an endless open horizon . The environment is ideal for walking and tours of the Cretan nature knowing both the precious history and struggles of the residents of the area. Nearby there are picturesque cafes . The residents of the area are hospitable and very kind. We were thrilled to be back for sure.

Our stay was more than beautiful and comfortable! We had great communication, very quick and very understanding for a last minute booking! The room is spotless, with details that made it very easy for us and a stone's throw from a very quiet and crystal clear sea front! Mr. Kondylakis, we'll definitely be back! If you want to live in an authentic Greek house - this is the place! Don't expect a house with Modern furniture and state-of-the-art electrical equipment. There are no air conditioners here + there is fresh mountain air. There is no heater here - there is a wood-burning fireplace. He built this house with his own hands for himself and his family. It's a special house - you're going to live in a museum! The landlord responds quickly and efficiently. Part of the experience is the Family history and collection of antiquities.

A nice little apartment. The beach is easily accessible on foot. The city itself offers a couple of small restaurants. For more experiences of the island, renting a car is great.

We can recommend the place without restriction - The terrace is sensational, even better than in the photos - Great view of the Cretan Sea - Very good mattresses - Very friendly and helpful landlords - A good starting point for many activities in eastern and central Crete Notes: - The place is close to the highway, which you can sometimes hear, but it didn't bother us. - We found the village of Malia quite terrible, but it's OK for shopping and eating. Otherwise, you don't have to go there. Other: We flew with Aegean and rented a car from bluecarrental. Both were very good.

This property was lovely!! It had everything we needed, was clean, location was great and communication was excellent. Unfortunately the beaches were too windy for our liking and because we have small children it makes it difficult but that can’t be helped. I do recommend to anyone on this site to always communicate with the host and request exact address link to be sent to you for the directions situation. Definitely recommend this property 😄
