Vacation rentals with lake access in Lanark Highlands

This was one of the best cottages / Lake house we have ever stayed at. Very large. Clean and modern. The host left us small Christmas / new year gifts for the children. Great special touch. Very responsive and accommodating and inviting. Very high end and well stocked kitchen. Great for our large group. We had no issues of any kind. We had a great few days and will definitely be back at some point soon.

Shirley a vraiment été une super hôte! Elle avait partie un petit feu de foyer pour nous avant que l’on arrivent. Elle nous a laissé des condiments, café et bouteille de vin 😇quelle belle attention! We had a lovely stay. Extremely clean and beautiful home with an amazing view and plenty of rooms and games to play. We would definitely stay at Parker’s again.

From the very beginning, Tim was extremely attentive and answered all of my questions immediately. I knew what to expect as soon as I walked in. The house fit 2 families and 2 large lazy dogs without feeling cramped. Having water access was amazing, the kids fished all day while the parents enjoyed time on the patio. The kids were able to take kayaks out to fish as well. The water grass made it a little difficult to keep an eye on the kids from the patio area, but not enough to be a problem. The water is very shallow but we were able to park our rented boat (Mac's Boat Rental-super awesome to the kids) without a problem. This house is exactly what we were looking for; private, waterfront and allowed dogs heavier that 20lbs-which is difficult to find. This house was a gem and we will gladly rent again! Thanks Tim!

We had a fantastic stay at Jen’s beautiful Airbnb in Calabogie! From the moment we booked, Jen was extremely communicative and proactive—she provided clear instructions and helpful tips that made our entire trip smooth and enjoyable. The home itself is stunning, with a huge backyard that opens up to a serene lake and breathtaking views. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The property is also incredibly pet-friendly, which was a huge plus for us. Our two Shiba Inus had the time of their lives running freely in the open space—watching them enjoy the outdoors so much made our stay even more special. This was truly a memorable experience for both us and our pups. We’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend Jen’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful, pet-friendly escape surrounded by natural beauty.

This beautifully appointed home was a perfect getaway. The peaceful lake with no cottages on the far side was clean and great for boating or swimming right off the dock. We enjoyed loons, herons, owls and a bunny. We hiked at Gould lake, swam, fished from the rowboat, had a campfire and watched stars from zero gravity chairs with no light pollution. A wonderful stay! Randa Catherine's apartment is in a great part of town, within easy walking distance of restaurants and shops. Very clear instructions, would recommend for a short stay.

Michael was a very responsive host. Really appreciate him and all he did to help us.

Jeremy's place is a perfect spot for a getaway. Clean, private, quiet and a great location. We look forward to returning in the summer to have some fun on the water. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone, check out a show at the Neat Cafe just a short walk away.

Sam was a great host and quick to respond to our questions. It was a great location with walkable food and shopping. I would stay there again and recommend it to others travelling there.

Super clean and instructions were very clear. We received recommendations for stuff to do a few says ahead so it helped us pack and plan our stay better. Awesome stay during the winter, compfy and cozy!

Dee's place (and Dee herself) is a true gem. She put so much care and thought into preparing for our stay and even left the sweetest birthday gift for me! She is very personable, friendly, and accommodating. My friends were impressed with the find and said "the pictures didn't do it justice". The space was clean, homey, and she went above and beyond in providing helpful instructions and all sorts of creature comforts for her guests. We felt like family!

My family had a wonderful stay at Tracey’s cottage. It is a beautiful open space, very clean, and has an amazing view of the lake. It is well stocked with everything you could possibly need. Tracey was extremely helpful and communicative. Check in and out was very smooth and easy.

It was great stay in comfortable and clean home.

The cottage was an ideal fall retreat. With plenty of firewood provided, we stayed cozy through chilly nights, and the clean barbecue made outdoor meals easy. The lake was calm and beautiful, and we enjoyed peaceful moments on the water with the host’s canoe and kayak. Nearby trails led to excellent lookout points with fantastic views. The night sky was incredibly clear, it felt like we could see the entire galaxy. Christine's parents were also very helpful during our stay, adding a welcoming touch to the experience. This place offered a perfect blend of comfort and nature.

It was great to be at this location. Hosts were very friendly and also allowed to check out late as we were bit late. This shows that this hosts is really very great and flexible with requested changes. Cottage was really so good. Kayaking , clean bedroom , washroom etc. Lake Jordan was great and amazing scenery. Would recommend to my friends and family as well.

La salle de bain est bien aménagée, et les lits sont très confortables. Le salon, lumineux et chaleureux, est un endroit idéal pour lire ou se détendre. Le chalet est impeccable, bien situé, et offre une ambiance paisible. Les enfants ont adoré le pédalo, et nous avons aussi beaucoup profité du feu sur le deck en écoutant de la musique. We were very pleased with the cottage. It was very clean and spacious. Everything we needed was available and suited our needs perfectly. We loved the spacious kitchen and dining area. There is a lot of storage available if you are staying for any length of time. The perfect place to stay with a family. We would definitely recommend this Airbnb.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Cedar Canoe Cottage! The cottage itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed exploring on the kayaks, paddle board and canoe.
