Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Lanark Highlands

Our family had a wonderful stay at this cottage. It was clean, it had a well-stocked kitchen and comfortable rooms to sleep. The check-in process was easy and everything was easy to find in the home. Our kids loved the ping pong table. The hot tub was especially lovely as the weather was a bit cooler than we had hoped for! Again, a lovely visit and we would highly recommend. This is an excellently kept AirBnB and a really kind and thoughtful host. We had forgotten some belongings behind and were quickly notified and he offered to ship them back to us, making our life so much easier and solving a problem that could have been a headache! We will be back in the future!

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, cozy, and private home. The rustic farmhouse feel made it the perfect place to relax. We especially loved having access to the many kayaks and canoes, which added to the overall experience. Julie was incredibly quick to respond to our messages and very accommodating when we ran into some minor issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back again!

We absolutely loved our stay at Kyle's cottage. We were 2 couples staying for a relaxing weekend. The cottage was super clean with everything you could possibly need for a perfect time. the hot tub was clean and ready for use. Kyle was kind and answered all our questions quickly. We would 100% reccomend Kyle's cottage. We will return!

It was a great stay. We arrived late, but check-in was easy. The place was cozy with a beautiful view of the river. Melissa was responsive and friendly.

Jeremy's place is a perfect spot for a getaway. Clean, private, quiet and a great location. We look forward to returning in the summer to have some fun on the water. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone, check out a show at the Neat Cafe just a short walk away.

What a lovely space. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Sofabed was topped with a memory foam topper and was so comfortable. Each room had a fireplace giving the whole unit such a cozy feel. Sarah reached out ahead to provide details on arrival and knowing the we were there to see friends for St Patrick’s Day had decorated the unit. She also provided a welcome basket with snacks and a binder with information on the area. Will stay again the next time we’re in Douglas.

I wish there were more than 5 stars to give! The hosts went above and beyond, so warm, welcoming, and accommodating. Rob did everything possible to make our stay exceptional. The loft was spotless, ultra-modern, and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. Absolutely loved this place and the hosts! Can’t recommend more!

Our stay at Melisha was really nice and peaceful. The place is huge, inside and outside and there is a lot of games left for the guests. Perfect for a quiet or a family retreat.

A great stay! My partner, my dog, and I have been coming to The Lodge for 4 years now and it’s always a fantastic time. It is a perfect and cozy winter stay. We loving coming back to Golden Lake year after year for The Lodge but also because Cindy is such a wonderful host. She is very responsive with any questions or concerns. 10/10 would recommend :)

We had an excellent stay in the A-Frame. It is peaceful, cosy, thoughtfully-appointed and incredibly well-laid out. Rachel is very friendly, helpful, and responsive.

We had a fantastic stay for a long weekend (birthday) getaway. Nice private location with a view. Enjoyed the hot-tub while watching the first snowfall of the season, wood stove and the well stocked kitchen. Host even left some treats for my pup, which she really enjoyed and was very responsive/helpful. Pros: private location, right on the water, kayak/canoe/hot tub for use, well stocked kitchen, responsive host! Cons: (only 1!) mice! My dog could not stop hunting the cabin throughout our stay lol (she is dedicated, like a cat!) , and we did find some droppings on the dishes in the cupboards, before use. Overall - we had a fantastic time. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back soon!

The place was a little hard to find but Megan was SO helpful and guided us all the way there! The room was beautiful and the nature surrounding was so peaceful! It was a little cold so we had to wake up in the middle of the night to feed more wood to the fire. But other than that, this was an amazing stay and I'll definitely be coming back in the summer 😍

What a wonderful escape! The water nearly surrounded the cottage and every direction you have a gorgeous view. Our days were spent on the lake in the kayak exploring the area. The water was so clear that you could see all the fish. Our dogs loved the area and the swimming. The area was private, and had everything we needed. We hope to return next summer!

I have only the best things to say about my stay at one of Taylor and Pierre's cabins. The location is stunningly beautiful and the cabins and grounds are even nicer than they appear in the pictures. The addition of the free to use kayaks and canoes, plus the large, communal kitchen made for a wonderful stay. Even the campers that I met there only had great things to say! Taylor and Pierre themselves are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to make sure that your stay is memorable, peaceful, and effortless. Additionally, Pierre gave great local advice about where to go and what to see and do as well as insight into small things like the most affordable gas stations in the area. Again. Cannot say enough great things. 5/5 and I will definitely be staying with them again
