Cottage vacation rentals in Lake Temagami

We had a fantastic long weekend at this cabin and have already planned to come back next summer! Everything is as listed and we made some great family memories together. Fishing was great just 5 minutes across the bay and they have everything you might need onsite. A store (with LCBO ) and chip-stand are a five minute drive away as well. Beautiful cottage 20min from downtown north bay, quiet street, well furnished, very responsive owners ( had a small issue with hot tub in next few hours host came over resolved issues. Highly recommend

The view was absolutely stunning, and the easy access to the lake made our stay even better. The highlight, though, was the hot tub — perfect for relaxing after a day by the water. A peaceful and beautiful spot for sure!

We booked under the general listing (Having not realized that there were more specific ones) so Dan was kind enough to choose a cottage based on what he believed would be appropriate for the temperatures and time of year. And when we met down in the driveway upon arrival, he was immediately very friendly and we had a great conversation, and he directed us up to our cabin which was an excellent choice, beautiful view of the lake, nice amount of shade, beautiful inside (looked like it had recently had some updates as well), very clean, and very well-appointed - full amenities, very comfortable space…more like a home than a cottage. Had a lovely conversation with Pam while we were checking out. We greatly enjoyed our experience and hope to return next year!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Whispering Pines. The cottage looks just as it does in the photos and had all the amenities of home. Definitely worth it!!

We had an excellent family winter weekend getaway! We did some ice fishing, snowmobiling and skating/hockey down the road at the local ODR. The cottage was a great spot for our family and we will definitely go back and would love to try it in the summer months. Thanks for sharing your cottage with us!

Galyna’s cottage was as described. Everything worked well. The boat ramp on site was very convenient. Great location on the river. Pool table, air hockey, and ping pong table add fun activities. Great spacious cottage for a family getaway. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

This place had everything we needed,, hot tub, sauna, cornhole, kayaks, canoes, a crockpot in the kitchen. Shelley was more than accommodating bringing us gas, Renee’s salad dressing since I forgot mine. Then for some reason the tv stopped working and boom there is a new tv! Jadey and her family were so welcoming and have a total gem! My husband, 1 year old daughter and I had a lovely stay and felt so welcomed! It is definitely a place where you can feel at home and you know is rich in memories! Lots of families with young children, perfect beach for littles all the way up to adults! Access to kayaks and paddle boards and a hydro bike (so cool)! We also launched our sea doo from their private Marina which was easily accessible and they were very knowledgeable of the surrounding waters! We stayed on Canada Day long weekend and also got to enjoy some beautiful fireworks right from our cabin! It was so special! Highly recommend! Lovely spot and lovely hosts!

Our family of 13 had an amazing Christmas/ new years getaway. Cynthias home is beautiful and was accurately described on the site . There was enough room for all of us to sleep comfortably and enough sitting areas that we were not crowded in anyway. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable . The kitchen was stocked with everything we could’ve ever required plus more, I think it was our favourite space to hang out in overlooking the water . The location was picturesque and had the weather cooperated would’ve had ample outdoor activities. We enjoyed watching football , lounging by the fire and playing pool . Cynthia was very helpful and prompt with every question that I had and made us feel welcome . Thank you for a memorable family new years .

Marlene was always quick and responsive during the booking process and her listing was exactly as described. There were tons of areas to relax and unwind in, kids had a great time fishing off the dock, and the location was close to the event we were attending.

love the peace and quiet, being unplugged, there was great fishing close by. cottage was fully stocked with everything needed and then some.

Christina’s place was a little slice of heaven! I stayed for a month and loved going swimming during the beautiful sunrises, enjoying the peaceful dock and relaxing. Also, as a mushroom enthusiast, this property had so many lovely sights - even a shrimp of the woods bloom at the end of my stay. Christina was so lovely and accommodating and really helped me feel safe and welcome. My cats loved the windows and bright open space. Would recommend this stay to anyone :)

Our group of six really enjoyed our stay. It was a short period and although it rained, there was lots to do! Activities in the garage and lots of board games to keep us entertained. Even enjoyed a movie with snacks. Beautiful place and hope to book again in the future. Really great for comfy cozy vibes, felt like home.

Best part of the cottage was the private sandy beach with shallow entry for the kids to enjoy. The water was crystal clear and very calm most days. The cottage was well equipped and everything was labelled and easy to find.

Great cabin, lots of space for a family of four. Super clean. Everything we needed during our stay was there, although you do need to bring pillows & blankets for the beds at the moment. Lake is beautiful and very quiet. Great fishing & swimming, and kayaks/canoes/paddle boat there to use. Nathalie and her husband were FANTASTIC, fun to talk to and are working hard all the time to keep things running so smoothly. THANK YOU!!

I have stayed at some nice Airbnb over the years, but this one tops them all. Rosemary‘s Cottage is truly special location, wise and the Cottage itself. Rosemary and Mike could not have been more accommodating hosts. We felt right at home and cared for. I am really hoping to come back for another stay. Do yourself a favor. If you want a relaxing getaway in the most beautiful setting with great fishing and about to explore with, book Rosemary‘s cottage. I can’t thank Mike and Rosemary enough for providing an incredible experience!!

Great private cottage tucked away behind a small island and surrounded by forest. My wife and I enjoyed our honeymoon here with our pup and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing northern getaway.

Ramona was very accommodating and on site when needed. Their property is beautiful and well maintained. The guest cottage was slightly smaller than expected but worked well for three adults. Safer access to their dock could be a good upgrade to better accommodate families with smaller children. However for the price of a cottage that provides access to 2 kayaks + 1 canoe and a stream that is a comfortable paddle away to the Callander bay (excellent fishing location), Ramona deserves no less than a five star rating! She was a great host and we really enjoyed our stay.

Excellent cottage, well equipped, nice decor, very cozy and clean. You can enjoy the great view of French River. Definitely worth the money.

The words tranquillity on Trout Lake stood out to me when reading the write up about this location and I can honestly say those words are so true. Being at the cottage was so peaceful. We spent many hours on the dock just enjoying the breathtaking views. Klaudia was an amazing host! Days leading up to our visit she sent messages with everything we needed to know about our upcoming stay and she even did a mid-stay message to see how things were going.

I stayed here with 3 of my friends and had a great time. Very peaceful location. Gaetan and his sons made sure we had plenty of things to do so we could enjoy our weekend on the island.
