House vacation rentals in Lake Malawi

The place is amazing! We really enjoyed our stay. The house is beautiful, offers a lot of space as well as things to do and is clean. We particularly enjoyed the kitchen, after having open fire kitchens for the most of the time in Malawi. Daniele and Angela are great hosts, easy communication and they are there for you when you need them. We can absolutely recommend this place!

The Host was very responsive to our messages, his directions to the apartment were accurate as we managed to get to the place without internet connections. The Co Host was excellent, he made our check in and stay very comfortable. The rooms are spacious with walk in cabinets in both rooms. Wi-Fi was available throughout our stay.

We had a great stay and everyone was helpful. The atmosphere around the place was fantastic. The house itself was in perfect condition.

A perfect home away from home! With a lovely pool and great garden and hot water and a huge generator to sort out the regular powercuts.

The house is beautiful, cosy and comfortable. The rooms are clean, spacious and some even with air-cons. The big kitchen is fully-equipped and there's plenty of fridge and freezer space. The pool is just perfect for hot days and relaxing. Ines the housekeeper is friendly and helpful, really made us feel like at home as did all the other staff too. Security is top-notch. Excellent place for short or long term stays in Lilongwe. The location is perfect since it's on the quiet side of town, away from all the dusty roadworks, but still close enough from Gateway Mall and other shopping places. Will definitely come again when visiting Mzuzu and highly recommend to anyone looking for a comfy stay in Lilongwe.

Highly Recommended! The Cottage & Amenities: The cottage is stunningly beautiful, offering direct access to a semi-public beach, a beautiful pool, and a private bar. The private bar, conveniently located at the beach, is a thoughtful touch – perfect for storing drinks without having to return to the cottage ( there is the host's house before you get to the beach from the cottage). Hospitality: The other amazing thing was the hospitality of Robert, the person in charge. He even offered to prepare us the breakfast and lunch, and it was amazing. We just brought the groceries and Chef Robert did his magic. Activities: There’s no shortage of activities to enjoy – from swimming and boat rides to kayaking and relaxing by the pool or beach. Communication: Ian, the host, was very responsive to all our questions and requests, enhancing our overall experience. Overall: This place is a gem for anyone looking for a mix of relaxation and adventure. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Leif is a great host! He is very friendly and was responsive all the time if I needed anything. And the place is very beautiful, especially the surrounding with an open vegetable garden, greenhouses and fish ponds. It was also a great environment as it was quite and nice to relax. It is also very secure as it is well guarded with a high fence. The map I was given was very accurate and it was easy to find the place as the gate has the sign written over it! It is also in a very convinient location as it is close to Gateway Mall, a local shopping Mall where one can get all the groceries and other shopiing! I would 100% recommend a stay here, either short or long period stay!

Ivy's place was clean and close to town.not difficult to locate.the security was good as well as the other staff(Cook &cleaner)..i recommend the place .i will stay again next time im in Mzuzu

The house was clean and tidy, not cluttered or unnecessary bits about. Chizaso send a pin of the home and lt was easy to find the house using this. The beds were well made and good size in all the rooms, plenty of storage space. the kitchen was also clean and tidy with a nice smell. Although I didn't use the outside space much ( including the veranda) it was very big and suitable for kids and little ones as it's in a gated area. The water was always hot and chizaso made sure there was hot water in time for our arrival which was lovely after a long trip. The house is located close to local enemities both by foot and by car. Mrs Jean who gave us the keys was lovely and was available in person also for anything we needed. The living room especially stood out, the deco wa simple and nice and made the place feel very very homely. I would definitely recommend for a long or short stay in lilongwe.

The Dream House Malawi offered us a holiday and a break that we needed. Quiet and private space. We enjoyed our stay among the locals who embraced us as family. We will definitely come again to Dream House.

The place is amazing. It indeed gives a great mix between the rural experience and modern. I was able to kick back and relax. My visit also coincided with traditional ( Nyau) event, which was great to experience! Wifi would be great. However, having no immediate access was not a problem as I could buy units elsewhere and use onsite

A delightful place, a home away from home in secure beautiful clean enviroment. Chrissie was delightful and helpful. 5 minute drive from city centre and 25 mins from the airport. Great security measures.
