Lake Huron boasts magnificent stretches of pristine coastlines dotted with picturesque lighthouses and charming towns. Enjoy a day under the sun at one of the lake’s many beaches, including Cheboygan State Park, Mackinac Island State Park, or Tawas Point State Park. Take in Lake Huron’s abundant natural landscapes with a scenic bike ride on the paved trail spanning over 10 miles, a hike through the Huron National Forest, or kayaking in the Au Sable River. Make your way to the southern shores of Lake Huron to explore Port Huron and check out the Fort Gratiot Light Station, Michigan’s oldest lighthouse, and browse one or two of the many museums in the area to learn about the area’s rich history.
