Vacation rentals with breakfast in Lake Biwa

We had a wonderful stay at Sasae's farmstay! From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Sasae, his wife, and their son. They gave us a lovely tour of the farm and their patisserie, and every morning our son was thrilled to feed the animals and collect freshly laid eggs for breakfast. Although they spoke limited English, we had no trouble communicating thanks to Google Translate, and still managed to have some great conversations. The hospitality was truly heartfelt. This is a perfect getaway for families with kids looking for a short escape from the city. We only stayed for two nights, but wish we had more time. We would’ve loved to join the farm BBQ they offered! Their daily homecooked breakfasts were a highlight. Cooking rice over a wood stove was such a unique experience, and their desserts from the patisserie were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

This was me and my friends first trip to Kyoto so we were a bit nervous but Keiko was the sweetest person ever. We got lost after we landed so we showed up a bit late but she was very understanding. She made us feel very welcomed and her cooking is amazing. I truly believe that if you are considering to stay here you will feel very welcomed and comfortable. It is easy to navigate to places from the station and is a beautiful home with a lovely host!!

Absolutely gorgeous place with very welcoming hosts. We had a great time and we were served delicious dinner and breakfast after we took a bike ride around the neighborhood to see the gorgeous local temples and vistas

Lily is very friendly, helpful, and considerate. We encountered trouble, and Lily was worried about us and tried everything. She picked us up at midnight that day, she went to bed late, and she had something to deal with when she left. She got up early, thank you very much! Sister LiLy is very familiar with the area, she can clearly guide everyone and provide travel advice, which helped us solve a lot of problems. The room is very clean, spotless, great experience, like brand new.And Sister LiLy can totally open a restaurant. The big meal she made was even better than what we ate outside😋. This was a pleasant surprise.I learned a lot about the living habits of the locals from her, which was quite interesting.Looking forward to seeing you again ~

It was a trip with an active 0-year-old (8 months).The room was simple, so I had a comfortable stay without worrying about getting hurt. It was my first time staying in Fukushima, which has a downtown feel, but there are many restaurants in front of the station, and it was a fun trip in a bustling area! Thank you! I want to use it again!

We stayed at four airBnb‘s in Japan and all have their good points, but this was by far the best. Located in a quiet suburb so not walking distance to the main sites of Kyoto, but with some lovely sites that we would not have seen otherwise Close by. It was as simple Uber ride or train ride to get into Kyoto for main sightseeing and it was lovely to come home to a quiet un bustling local with a wide choice of excellent restaurants to choose among. The apartment itself is spacious, by far the most spacious we stayed in And it’s part of a an apartment complex which has a small gym. Nori and Fumi even served us breakfast all three days we were there in another upstairs breakfast room. To top it off, they picked this up and dropped us off at this train station three days later. All in all it was a really welcoming and comfortable place to stay, well worth the price we paid

Close to Fukushima station, close to luggage delivery office (open only Saturday /Sunday). Room was clean, bathroom was spotless. Laundry powder, vacuum cleaner, washing machine was provided. Would stay here again.

The host was absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere was always friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect for me since I was attending a conference at the international conference centre (20 minute walk). The facilities were excellent for the price.

This guest house is will be the best choice. The host tommy is very kind and mindful. He speaks english very well, so someone who didn't speak japanese will be satified. Also, the domitory bed was very nice. It's cozy and comfotable. And Tommy will give you breakfast If you request. The toast was tasty. I recommend this guest house, you will not regret your choice. I really liked the old traditional house with a quiet interior. The Japanese home-style food that came out for breakfast was also delicious.

Had a wonderful stay in this traditional Japanese room. The host was very friendly and accomodating. He provided us delicious breakfast every morning and gave us good tour spot recommendations. We felt comfortable and welcomed here. Would definitely come again on our next Kyoto trip.

Best Airbnb! we stayed at their 200 yeas old farmhouse with wonderful rooms, a terrace and surroundings. Very cozy big house. We have had a BBQ dinner together with the hosts and they also served us breakfast. it was super great to stay there.

Chieri was welcoming and the perfect host. Together with her mother Kauri-san and beautiful WabiSuke, they made us feel at home and gave us a little experience of living within a Japanese Community which is what we were seeking. From inviting us to a local Sushi restaurant to allowing us to share her Tea Ceremony class, Chieri has made our short stay truly memorable.

I enjoyed my stay here. Friendly staff, very clean room, convenient to bus and subway stops. Also a short walk to the busy shopping street. Breakfast there was a bonus. Very delicious!

the house is beautiful, especially the family room is very worthwhile. the bathroom is common but this never gave problems. the breakfast was really exquisite, the staff one by one very sympathetic. ok would very much like to go back.

A pure sanctuary to relax and rejuvenate. The location is at the top of beautiful and quiet Koyodai. The combination of the warmth of Sachiyo’s and Justin’s hospitality and the impeccable design of their home and the meals unmatched in terms of quality of ingredients and flavor was perfection. I am grateful for the simple touches of care and creativity each day. I felt welcome and so happy. I look forward to seeing them again. My heartfelt thanks go out to them.
