Farmstay vacation rentals in Lahaul and Spiti

We were there for more than a month. Found Munish and family to be incredibly friendly, responsive & helpful. It is a beautiful place with wonderful views of the mountains (at least from our unit). Our stay was very comfortable. In addition when we needed anything extra … a pot or other utensils, they were available within minutes of our request. The only negative was the noise pollution from the highway nearby & the music being played till 2am during the Diwali season. Munish was not responsible for any of this and couldn’t do anything about it. The location also provided easy access by bus to Paprola, Palampur & Dharmashala whenever needed for groceries & trips… without the hustle & bustle of tourists ! Overall we had a wonderful time !

Manali Homes is a beautiful villa surrounded by the most serene views of the mountains all around you! A very well maintained , spotless clean and comfortable house amidst apple orchards. Preety ji and Rakesh ji are the most gracious hosts! They own the place & are extremely welcoming in nature. The rooms have beautiful views of the mountains and the apple orchards. It was truly very relaxing. Preety ji cooks up great meals and her team made sure all our requests and needs were well taken care of. They recommended us walking down to the river bank nearby and it was one of our fondest memories! What a beautiful trail with quaint mountain homes around , passing by the warm Himachali people who are always smiling and happy to help. Manali Homes was everything we could ask for! Our group of 14 comprised 3 elders and they had a comfortable stay too! Highly recommend this spectacular home away from home with spectacular views and all comforts to boast!

It was a wonderful stay, we stayed at the tree house which was a wonderful experience. It was a family vacation with our new family member our little kitten, the experience for her and us was great. The tree house, orchard and the lawn was our little one's favorite. Loved the wonderful home cooked food served, especially the Siddu and rajma. Ambrish is a very friendly host, you can ask him for local recommendation. Would recommend this place to people seeking peace and green surroundings yet drivable distance from Manali and Naggar.

This was one of the best places to stay near manali. You'll get homely experience there. The host is very nice and friendly and the ambience of the place is awesome. You'll get an amazing view from the room. Rooms are quite big and affordable. We stayed almost a week and we had the greatest experience and made really good friends. Highly recommend 👍🏻

place is really good. you have to do a hike of 4 km to reach here .. almost entire parvati valley comes in the view. away from the crowd it's a very chill place to stay. food was amazing. the host was very helpful.

it's a nice and clean place . caretaker is prompt and helpful. very close to Zoo you can even listen tiger roar . you can also watch snow clad mountains . parking is available with drivers room

The stay is peaceful with good view from the common dinning area. It's a value for money stay. Good food menu options and humble staff.

Veer and family have a great place, very well kept and serene. If you have a chance do eat there too; Veer’s grandmother puts together lovely dinner feasts. It was a perfect place for me to relax after some hectic travelling. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

A must visit place in the Heart of the Jungle with the mesmerising sound of the water stream. The view is so astonishing that someone cant afford to miss..... Thanx a ton to Vicky and Singhu for making the stay so fantastic and relaxing...... Cheers.....:-)

For anyone who wants to spend some time surrounded by nature and away from city rush, this is a perfect place. The house is a mix of modern and old Pahari architecture. The core of the house is old and traditional while modern facilities have been added later. The outcome is a nice cozy and rustic place. We had the whole house to ourselves as Divya, our host, was travelling. However, she was in touch with us over the phone and her directions were clear and easy to follow. The house was immaculately clean and had everything required for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well equipped, rooms are cozy, balconies are a treat to sit in and porches are delightful. We cooked, read, lazed in balconies and porches, explored the orchard and surrounding woods and had a great time overall. Instead of taking out the car, we found a forest trail to market that was simply blissful and good daily exercise. The time we spent here has certainly energized us all. Highly recommended.

The place is exactly the way its shown. It peaceful. Beautiful. The main attraction was the food. It tasted exactly like something my mom would make for me. I never felt like i was away from home. They’ve got many activities to do such as pottery and hiking. They have got a dedicated work space. Swapna and Lakhan were very proactive with our requests and very prompt. The place is not far from mcleodganj and provides the perfect setting for a weekend getaway! Absolutely loved it.

Happy to visit prabhat’s place… rooms very neat and clean… food provided was very delicious and fresh… parking was easily available (in front of house only)… he is also very informative himself (told us about nearby waterfall and other places to visit)… will surely prefer staying again here.

My experience at Samsara Homestay has been nothing short of 'out of the ordinary'. The farmstay is nestled beautifully in a quaint village with calming views. Every nook and corner has been creatively crafted with love. The vibe & energy of the spaces will definitely take you for a splendid spin. Srikant & Nitika are extremely friendly hosts and made my stay extremely welcoming. Loved to stay, the view from the whole patio was amazing. It was a beautiful and peaceful place amidst nature. The host was really nice and helpful. It was a great experience staying here. To be honest, we spent most of my time on the balconies.

Overview : One of the most beautiful experiences we have ever had. We stayed here for a month during December to Jan. The stay exceeded our expectations in every possible way. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The location of the stay is at a higher elevation than the rest of the town so the view is quite surreal. Make sure you stay long enough to experience the culture. Hosts : We were greeted by Karthik who guided us from the bus stop and was kind enough to help us with carrying our luggage to the stay. He stays close by and is always responsive to any needs. He’s also great company to chill with. Our caretakers were the owners of the place. Bahadur ji , Dadi ji, Baga didi and Leela bhai. The main reason the stay was as good as it was, was because of these people. They took care of us like family in health and even in sickness. Baga didi’s cooking is phenomenal, gained weight after this trip. Bahadur ji is really good company to explore with.

Nestled among apple orchards with a stunning view of the mountains, TRA A Boutique Stay is a truly serene place to stay. The interiors are filled with natural light and feature clean lines, accented by beautiful, unobtrusive art on the walls. Each floor has a comfortable common area, and there are large, full-size mirrors throughout the property. The kitchen and other utilities are spotless, and the food is delicious and homemade. The staff is friendly and professional, always ready to help. Also, there are two cute orange cats who add a touch of charm to the whole experience. And then there’s the host—Kanupriya is wonderful. She’s responsive, warm, and thoughtful, always happy to suggest places of interest. She runs the resort with care and attention, and it shows. Highly recommended for families, couples, artists and anyone with a spiritual bent looking for a peaceful, inspiring retreat.

Our stay was wonderful. We went with our office colleagues and had a fantastic 4-day experience at their home. The house is situated on a beautiful farmland, surrounded by orchards and many flowering plants. The hosts and their family were incredibly welcoming, and the food was absolutely delicious. They have all the necessary amenities, and the accommodation was spotless and well-maintained. A special thanks to Seema Ma'am for taking such great care of us, treating us like family. We hope to return soon and create even more wonderful memories.

This place is a gem - just like in the photos in the listing. It is like a well equipped european house in a Swiss alps setting. The host (Ishaan) and his family are very friendly and warm. There is absolutely nothing that is out of place in this house. Ishaan's father has though of each and every detail of the house very minutely and has ended up making a masterpiece. Ishaan was very prompt in helping us with the directions to his property and was very proactive with local recommendations and help with anything we needed. We spent the new year's eve chatting with his parents, who, we found to be very nice and down to earth people trying their best to make our stay a wonderful experience. This listing should earn 7 stars.

A most delightful and tranquil retreat. Much more than a home away from home! Right from the word go, our gracious hosts, Neelamji and her son, Dheeresh, were like family to us. From the care with which they directed us to their place, sending their team over to help us cross the last mile to the cottage, and the wonderful welcome, it was a dream! The cottage is so beautiful, cozy and well-maintained, and we were careful to keep it the way they have so lovingly nurtured it, especially the carefully polished wooden flooring and woodwork. The attention to detail was very evident, with small touches that make the huge difference between staying in a hotel and in a homestay. The delicious food was served in the sit-out overlooking the hills. Neelamji and Dheeresh personally helped in ensuring that the food was homely and of good quality. We enjoyed fresh fruit - apricots, pears, strawberries and melon from their own garden. The view - overlooking the hills - is amazing, and the proximity to the Beas is unbelievable. We just had to cross the backyard and in a minute, we were on the banks of the Beas in full flow. No wasting time in a vehicle traveling to see the river. We had it all at our doorstep. We had a whale of a time, and it felt like we had spent some real quality time with an aunt and cousin. So now our family is extended to include Neelamji and Dheeresh! God bless them for what they do, and we are most definitely going to visit again!

Beautiful property secluded in the mountains, amazing hosts and really enjoyed the days
