Family-friendly vacation rentals in Lagoa

This is a truly brilliant place to stay. My husband and I stayed here with 5 other friends (x2 couples and x1 single), which worked well with the rooms. There was one spare room, but this is clearly for little children as it has a child sized bathroom (very cute tiny sink and toilet). The villa is large, clean and has all the equipment you'll need. It has stunning views out to the sea and a pool which isn't overlooked. The pool isnt very deep (I'm 5ft 4in and could walk across it without my head going under the water), but it is a good size and has ample room for sunbathing/lounging poolside. The villa is in a lovely, safe neighbourhood. You are an easy walk to shops, bars and restaurants, as well as an easy drive to a lot of other towns. The drive from Faro Airport was very straightforward and we had no trouble finding the villa. The owners gave helpful and timely information prior to arriving and it was a pleasure to deal with them. I highly recommend this villa and will certainly go back there in the future.

We had an incredible stay in this beautiful property - almost too good to share! The apartment is perfectly positioned with spectacular sea views, plenty of space and everything you need for a comfortable stay. The thing that really set it apart, however, was the hospitality of our host, who went above and beyond to share local recommendations and make us feel at home.

Great host, the communication was great and whenever we needed anything Susie answered very quickly. Lovely place, quite neighbourhood. Villa was a great space and homely. The kitchan is well equipped. Loved the outside area with the hot tube! Everyone locally friendly and helpful. Highly recommended. Thank you Susie .

Just returned from a great stay here. Apartment is in a great location, close to town and the underground car park was a fantastic feature. The apartment was well equipped, spotlessly clean and exactly as described. Wonderful views of the pool area and ocean. Kitchen had everything we needed and had a dishwasher and washing machine. There was a small balcony area with a table and chairs and some washing lines for clothes. Location is great for the town centre which is a 5 minute walk. Carvoeiro is located in the heart of the Algarve and is a good base for Ferragudo, Portimao and Lagos all of which provide excellent beaches and restaurant options.

Amazing experience, super quiet place (be careful with noise because the residence is very quiet). Special place to relax, the photos don't do it justice.

Lovely apartment in a great location. It has everything you need to enjoy a relaxing time. The pool is a 2 minute walk from the apartment and a beautiful sandy beach a 5 minute walk away. Several restaurants, supermarket and local shop all within walking distance.

This is a great place to stay, the apartment is lovely. You can walk into Ferragudo with lovely restaurants cafes and beaches. Parking is easy . Friendly neighbourhood. Great

I have been so lucky to be able to stay at this property that I do not know how to start my review!!!! The communication was fast, helpful and friendly. The property is beyond words.......it is amazing. The photos do not do it justice as it is just spectacular and it took my breath away. It is a relaxing and peaceful home that offers everything you could want and more. We were met on arrival and the whole place took my breath away. The home is clean, well looked after and obviously loved and has everything you need plus extra special touches. The gardens are beautiful and perfectly kept. The swimming pool is clean and a wonderful place to relax. The BBQ areas are well kept and thought out and so lovely to be around in the evenings. We had the whole property and my words to describe that are WOW! There were 3 of us and a dog. It is perfect for pets. Thank you for making our family holiday so perfect.

We had a great time! The property was spotless and very peaceful. It was in a lovely area, a short drive to Benegil cliffs which was amazing. Very friendly and showed us around/gave loads of recommendations of places to go and eat. Any questions we had were answered very quickly with no problems, and they even left a welcome hamper for us which was lovely. I look forward to the next time!

We had a pleasant stay at Alexandra's The house is a little hard to find because hidden at the bottom of a dirt road but Alexandra was very responsive to help us. The house is quiet, very well equipped and the bedding is very good enough to have a very nice stay. The pool and garden are beautiful!

Nice stay! We spent just under 3 weeks in the house from mid-April and truly appreciated the perfectly equipped kitchen — it had everything we needed. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t ideal during our stay, with a lot of rain, and the house felt a bit chilly (pellets for heating were impossible to find locally). The nearby beaches are truly beautiful. You need a car to get anywhere — it's not possible to walk safely from the house without using roads. You can hear constant noise from the nearby motorway.... Courtyard is quite small and not grassy (covered in stones). On the bright side, the window insect nets are excellent, the beds were very comfortable, and the scent of orange trees surrounding the house was simply wonderful. Communication with Rochelle was smooth and friendly. Thank you!

My wife and I spent a month at Casa Pescador and really enjoyed our time!! Sergio and his associate, Cristina, were very helpful! We could walk out our door and be a minute away from the mercado to pick up a few groceries, or find a nice place to dine in one of the many restaurants close by. The beach and boardwalk were a highlight for us as well as the cliffs and caves. Don't miss taking a boat tour of the caves along the coast! Thank you Sergio and Cristina for a wonderful place to stay!!

The place was exactly as the pictures showed. The beds were super comfortable as well and the location was beautiful. We will be visiting again!

We had an amazing week at Casa da Forno! The Villa is beautifully decorated, and the location / view was perfect. The patio area is so special with the olive trees. Aline and Miguel were extremely helpful with check in and throughout the stay. Would 1000% recommend!!

We had a great time and we will return. Accommodation had everything we needed and pool was perfect for peaceful swims. Easy few minutes walk down to the most beautiful beach with sea view restaurant where you could just have drinks if you wanted (it takes a few minutes more to walk back up the hill to the apartment!). Other restaurants and shop are within walking distance. Taxis readily available for Carvoeiro (under 5 euros) where we recommend the Ghurka restaurant, also great value and good food at China Town. We visited Lagos and Ferragudo - both great trips. Thanks Nina, it was brilliant.

The location was perfect!! Lots of space and an amazing backyard with an unbeatable view. I would highly recommend this casa and can’t wait to come back!

We were a group of 10 people and had a wonderful time at Sam's villa The facilities were perfect, everything was clean and looked like the pictures. Sam was a perfect hostess who was always helpful and available. The villa is in a quiet area, but you are within 10-15 minutes by car to the lively places. We would definitely come back again!

Fabulous property, well furnished and equipped, extremely clean and spacious, beautiful location, relaxing and chilledwithin walking distance to the town which has many great restaurants to choose from. We loved the square which is a minutes walk from Feliz Dias again with a good selection of bars and restaurants. Lovely pool area within the complex with a bar, which is well run by a young lady who serves excellent food/drinks. Overall we had a great experience and would thoroughly recommend 🤩
