Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lachine Canal

The house is super cozy, we feel very at home at Michael’s house. He is super responsive and helpful. 10/10 experience !

Great location, 1 garage space available for compact SUV size, was able to find parking in the front on the street as well (we had 2 cars). Lighting could be better (couple of the ceiling lights were not lit) living room was dim and Paris came in to fix one of the lamps that did not work. Paris very responsive with messaging. Overall great stay. A lot of walkable spots for food groceries, and sightseeing. Would stay again

We had an absolutely delightful stay at this gorgeous house! From the moment we arrived, everything felt so welcoming and serene. The house itself is incredibly spacious — with five beautifully laid-out rooms, it offered the perfect blend of comfort and elegance. Every corner felt thoughtfully curated to make guests feel right at home. Check-in was a breeze, and we immediately settled into vacation mode. One of the things that truly stood out was how pet-friendly the place was. Our dog felt completely at ease and had so much fun exploring both indoors and out — it honestly felt like a little retreat for him too! The backyard was such a gem — wide, peaceful, and just perfect for sipping coffee in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening. It added so much to our experience, offering a private oasis where we could unwind and just enjoy the moment.

We had an amazing stay. Everything was great. The place is very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed. Nice yard for the kids to place. The host was extremely nice checking in on us and gave recommendations for local grocery store. We would return in a heart beat. Definitely recommend.

The place was lovely and cozy. You feel right at home with all the amenities in the kitchen, and the flat is well furnished with a lovely deck. The lightening was fantastic. The neighborhood is cozy with local eateries, supermarket and other easy to walk everywhere. So, it is like visiting NYC and stay across the bridge in Brooklyn nicest neighborhood. This gave us the local feel which is important for the full experience. There were enough outlets, tv nice size and it looks exactly as the photos - no hidden surprises but rather gems. Thank you Pierre and yes thank you for the compliment. I leave everything as I rent it. Respect.

We had a wonderful stay at Jenny and Steeve’s home. The architecture, design, and decor all work together so well, and it was especially awesome for some family members that knew of this location as a former dépanneur. The transformation is truly incredible. The comfort of the home is also equally matched with its central location in a neighborhood that has many options. We enjoyed the Mollo bakery down the block, Jamaican food from Boom J’s, steamies and house-made spruce beer at Paul Patates, and pizza from Welldun Pizza in Verdun. An added bonus was the nearby depanneur carrying banana popsicles, which we don’t get out West. Whether we were going downtown, over to LaSalle, or even across to Brossard, the location was very convenient. And to top it off, the patio furniture in the garden gave yet another wonderfully relaxing oasis. It didn’t even seem like we were in the city. Thanks again for letting us share your terrific home!

It was my family and I’s first time in Montreal and we wanted to find a place that felt homey and comfortable, Elena’s house was perfect for us. We felt right at home, it’s a beautiful home and kept in very good condition, and the area is very beautiful. Elena is very kind and was very flexible and understanding of our situation when we needed to extend our stay. The house is a short walking distance from parks, shops, and restaurants it was very convenient and fun for us. It was a pleasure to stay here!

We stayed for one month in the house (November 2024)Frédérique and her dad are excellent hosts. Pros: We enjoyed the place. Quiet, incredibly beautiful the view, the space of the house inside and outside. Cleanliness of the place. Details to ensure the comfort of visitors. The essential basics of a house, everything was there. The fireplace. Laundry room. Pets allowed. Partial adaptation for one person in a wheelchair, that's great! Least: The average internet. Unique bathroom, no ventilation. The couch is uncomfortable. Some amenities would have to be renewed. These are present. In short, I would recommend this house. I would go back without hesitation. It's a beautiful place. Close to highway, restaurants and services. Thank you so much to our hosts.

We had a great stay in Montreal at Fredy's apartment. It is spacious, has free street parking, close to many parks and in a great area of the city. Fredy was very responsive and checked-in with us once we arrived, to ensure we had everything we needed. Thanks Fredy!

We were very happy staying here. The apartment was perfect, with comfortable beds, relaxing living room and roomy kitchen. It also has parking which is great. Overall, it worked well for us.

Spacious, well-equipped apartment on a quiet street. most importantly: snow-cleared parking for our arrival. and condiments available. a small shopping mall very close as well as a metro station 5 minutes' walk away. everything to facilitate our stay.

10/10 would recommend, apartment is very clean and quiet and included a lot of amenities. Check in and out were very easy.

I had a lovely stay at this modern, fresh, and nicely furnished Airbnb. The bed was super comfy, and the place had everything I needed—including coffee! Laundry facilities were great, especially for drying towels. It was very quiet—no noise from neighbors or outside—which made for a peaceful visit. The location was perfect: close to the subway, grocery store, liquor store, and fantastic Asian restaurants right on the street. If you like to shop, the major stores are only a10-15 minute walk. There was also a nearby park that was perfect for walking my dog. I felt safe walking around at night. Check-in was smooth, and the key fob made building access easy. I also appreciated having an elevator. The host was very attentive and responded quickly to all my questions. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Kyle!

Reba’s unit was very clean, and comfortable. The views from this unit were amazing! Lots of restaurants and stores were very walkable from this location. Photos were accurate. I would love to stay again!

Beautiful home with all the amenities! Eric was a great host and very responsive. The home was very comfortable for the 8 of us. Unfortunately we only had a 3 night stay and only got to enjoy the pool for one day due to the weather. But it was very nice with lots of comfortable outdoor furniture and a beautiful backyard setting. The master bedroom was amazing with beautiful soaking bathtub! Highly recommend this property. We’re very thankful to our host for everything he did to make our stay comfortable. He was quick to respond and always so thoughtful. When one of our friends got sick very late at night, he brought us medicine, which we really appreciated. Even on New Year’s Eve, he came over to fix the dishwasher with no hesitation. Qiang was a great host. He made check-in easy and didn’t have a ton of rules as I have experienced at other homes. It was so peaceful we all slept well and there was plenty of space for my large family. Thank you Qiang!
