Very nice apartment of 60 m2 with a suite composed of a large walk-in shower, its double vanity furniture and its dressing area. All in a modern wood and greenery spirit with storage shelf and bright atmosphere. Very nice and calm apartment located in a bourgeois house, beautiful volumes, quality furniture, ideally located close to river Aude and Quai Bellevue, which offers you the most beautiful view of the Cité de Carcassonne. You have a perfect starting point for beautiful walks, e.g via the scenic Old Bridge, pedestrian, directly to the Cité or infinitely footpath along the river Aude. Close to the apartment you find free parking space.

Enjoy the city of Carcassonne (festival June and July), the Cathar castles, the Canal du Midi, spend pleasant moments in the Black Mountain, tour the vineyards (Minervois, Corbière, Fitou,...) or a day at the sea... We don't have parking but parking is free in the area.

We have just returned from 2 weeks here and we had a fantastic time! Iain is so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble! The house is ideal and perfectly matches the description! We had two dogs and the fully enclosed garden meant we could fully relax. We had a few days where we were unlucky with the weather so the heated pool was ideal and Iain was kind enough to make it slightly warmer for us! The house is so close to everywhere but still feels so private and quiet. We loved having the peace, but yet having everything we needed on the door step. We’d return in a heartbeat!

Gorgeous hilltop villa with pool and hot tub

The property was everything we’d hoped for, peaceful, private and in a beautiful setting. It was equipped with everything we could need, with very comfortable furniture and high quality linens. The kitchen was very well equipped indeed, I loved the air fryer! Colin met us on arrival, unlocking the door and showing us how to operate the shutters before making himself scarce. Although the hosts live next door they’d obviously gone to some effort to make sure the property felt private, we hardly knew they were there. The area is just beautiful with some very scenic villages within a short drive. We’d recommend visiting Montolieu as well as Carcassonne itself. The Lac de la Cavayere is well worth a visit in nice weather and I suspect even more so in summer when all of its activities are in operation. Colin very kindly negotiated with the cleaners to allow us an extra hour before we had to check out - with 7 hours between checkout and our flight this was very much appreciated!

We had a great Easter time with my friends and children in this cottage. The park is beautiful and allows children and adults to enjoy the amenities (pétanque, swing, trampoline). The annex room, very large, allows you to eat together, to play billiards, darts, foosball, without disturbing those looking for calm. In short, the we were too pleasant. We'll probably come back to that.

We felt right at home, it is very cozy, that there is a pool is great and more if you go with children. It is located in a very quiet neighborhood and near Carcassone. Fabien was very attentive at all times, any questions answered us super quickly. Very good experience
