Very good host and very pleasant accommodation. Tastefully furnished and very comfortable. the only point a negative is the gate which is narrow enough to bring in his vehicle.

We had a beautiful few days at the lodge. The location is stunning, it was so lovely waking up to see the forest from our pillows! The fire warmed us, the bed is deliciously cozy and comfortable, and we simply loved every moment of being there. Alexia must be the hardest-working host we have met! Looking after the grounds and the chateaux is a full time job, but she took time to welcome us and was very helpful. We loved meeting Marty the dog too! The lodge is everything it says in the listing - it's a really special place, and we would return without hesitation. Highly recommend!!

Our stay at this chateau in Chinon was truly exceptional—by far the best Airbnb experience we've had. The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with every detail thoughtfully considered to ensure comfort and convenience. The kitchen was fully stocked, making meal preparation a breeze, and there were plenty of board games for entertainment. It had provided all the amenities and toiletries you'd need for your stay. What really set this place apart were the little touches that made us feel so welcome. The host had kindling and firewood ready for us at the fireplace, and even the outdoor grill was set up and ready to use, which made our stay feel effortless and relaxing. The location was also ideal, just a short distance from the town of Chinon, allowing us to easily explore the area. We had the chance to visit nearby famous chateaus, adding to the charm of our trip. Overall, this Airbnb is a MUST stay and we'll definitely be back with family and friends

Beautifully renovated and quiet retreat in the Loire countryside. Well stocked kitchen and games for the kids. Extremely responsive with helpful recommendations. We had a lovely stay!

lovely countryside abode. Jeff and Lisa were great and helpful. i enjoyed the peaceful and down-to-earth 4-night stay here. Washer/Dryer didnt work but Lisa helped me with laundry quickly. There is no microwave in the loft FYI but you can always use hot water to heat your food, worked great for me.

Pleasant stay with friends in a green and peaceful setting. Very comfortable and clean house to accommodate our large family (6 adults and 4 teenagers). The little plus the tennis court, the teenagers loved it. 100 percent recommendations. Thank you for your kindness and availability.
