The house is simply unique. The view of the lake is breathtaking and it is great that you are right in the forest. Incredibly beautiful. We felt super comfortable and would have liked to have stayed longer. Kari is very accommodating and even organized a child's life jacket for our daughter at short notice. Thank you! The hot tub and sauna are in top condition and the kitchen is very well furnished. All in all, it was a great, relaxing vacation for us and we didn't miss anything.

Apartment was really nice, clean and perfect location for our needs. Kitchen was fully equipped. Host was really kind and responsive. We liked also the personal touch what host has made. Would recommend this place fully.

Everything worked, quiet location, next to a race track if you're interested and about 1.5 kilometers to the center, sauna plus, no complaints. I recommend!

Book it! This place is incredible! From the responsiveness of Tina, through to the absolute serenity and beauty of the surrounding area plus the stylish, no expense-spared, very new and modern cabin itself. We (family of 4, including 2 in mid-late teens) had a wonderful time, relaxing in nature, walking on a frozen lake, cooking on the grill and in the very well-stocked kitchen. You definitely need a car to get there, but once there can forget everything and properly relax. We’d certainly come back. It’d be fascinating to experience in summer as well as winter.

Amazing place, highly recommend

My husband thought it was so lovely and homey at Sirpa's place that could always live there! Definitely worth the price! For once, a cozy Airbnb apartment with no miraculous Airbnb tunes, it was just a normal and beautiful apartment. Everything was perfect for us and the little dog, also calm and good jogging terrain. Sirpa was a flexible and friendly host.

Comfortable, clean, and very beautiful house where it was nice to spend a couple of winter vacation days. All the amenities and a cozy warm inside, with a peaceful view of the winter yard and forest from the windows. From the beach nearby, it was nice to admire the starry sky. The host couple was very hospitable and felt welcome. We had a peaceful and close proximity to nature, which was true. We'd love to come back!

Esa was easy to work with and responded to all questions quickly. The apartment was quiet and located near many walking and biking trails. Lidl (food store) was just down the road and downtown Kouvola was a 3 km walk.

The apartment matched the description and everything needed was found. The apartment was clean and well located in the center. Only in the living room I could have used a more comfortable couch to watch TV:)

We had a fantastic stay at Anna's Grandparents apartment in Kouvola! The place was very welcoming and homely. Well equipped for both short or longer stays. We especially loved the Sauna and the swimming pool downstairs 😍 getting to use those facilities privately was just pure luxury. Private parking, lift, easy access disabled friendly external doors were all very much appreciated by us too. The bathroom having just recently been fully renovated was really amazing - the power shower is brilliant. We did not get to enjoy the large outside balcony space with it being middle of Winter in January when we stayed, but I can only imagine how nice that is in the warmer months. We will most definitely want to stay in Anna's flat again and we highly recommend it to others too!😊 PS. We loved all the books, wall art, piano, old typewriter etc 😍

Fine, stylishly decorated studio in a great location. Found everything you need. The sophisticated vibe of an old house. Communication with Johanna went smoothly. A great base in singahart to the nature and bird destinations in the Kotka region!

Thank you very much, Terhi! We had a very nice stay for 3 nights. For this time, we joined an event of Atomu x Aalto : Sunila area guide tour + KTP opening game + friendly reception party at Kantola. For the purpose, staying at Terhi's apartment was totally a perfect choice to enjoy the real Sunila life in Aalto designs! The original classic kitchen size was cute and perfect for my short size as one of Japanese to use, it was interested in! Everything made so cozy and we love the peaceful Sunila apartment. We highly recommend to stay to enjoy Aalto design lovers to know Sunila! We will come back when we visit Kotka. Thank you so much again :)

Lovely place, just enough for 3 people. We enjoy the quietness and the nature surrounding it. The host had left clear instructions on everything. We’d stay here again if we are in the area next time.

Another great stay at Victoria’s place. Great apartment, ideally located. Very quiet area yet close enough to walk into town. Lovely sauna, nice balcony for relaxing on. Great communication from Host and especially helpful when checking in. Look forward to returning.

I stayed with Francisca for the second time in Kotka. The apartment is clean and includes everything as promised in the description. Special thanks for the convenient check-in method. Francisco gets very detailed and comprehensive instructions for a smooth stay from start to finish. The building seems calm, I haven't heard any noise on the weekends. Excellent location on the edge of the market, a stone's throw from shops and local bus stops. I could definitely stay here again in the future!
