Private room in Yoshino, Yoshino District
Guest house along the road between the sky and Yuzu
The guest house is vacant, located in the Kokusai district of Yoshino Town. It is an old-fashioned area that also appears in "old monuments" and "Japanese books".It is also known as the source of handmade washi paper and Yoshino Cedar and Yoshino Tsubaki chopsticks.
Jomihara Shrine, which is within walking distance of the guesthouse, is a shrine nestled quietly in the Iwatake Mountains next to the beautiful Yoshino River, making it a great place to take a walk the next morning.
Located just in the middle of the Kii Peninsula, this location is close to the neighboring villages of Higashiyoshino, Kawakami and Kamikitoyama, and it is an hour and 15-minute drive to Odaikehara.
Of course we recommend a pleasant river hike in the summer, but it is also exceptional to aim for waterfalls such as Ogi Falls and Fudo-Seven Falls!Mt. Takami, known for its winter fog and ice, is also about a 30-minute drive to the trailhead.
If you stay once and like Yoshino, please try a long-term stay next time. The guest house sky is for those who want to have a base in Yoshino, those who want to heal in the nature of Yoshino, and those who want to connect with the warm people of Yoshino.
