Overall it is a very beautiful homestay, in the morning, you can see the beautiful sea view and Mt. Unzen on the other side of the bank, and the host is also quite friendly!For self-driving friends who love natural scenery, can recommend! I would recommend checking in when the sun hasn't gone down in the afternoon, if it's dark, the signposts won't be good to find!

Close to Kumamoto Station, tidy, well equipped, excellent nearby restaurants

It was such a great experience to stay here! The hosts were so warm and welcoming! The room was spacious, calm and well equipped, the camping futons were surprisingly very comfortable. The highlight was definitely the outdoor barbecue that the host prepared for us (need to bring your own groceries). It was 0°c outside but one of the memories of the year!

We stayed there for a week in winter time. The house is warm with heating, and the down blanket is soft and comfortable , warm enough to sleep without turn on the heater. Only the mattress is a bit worn out, for us is a little bit too hard to sleep on. Onsen in the house is big and relaxing. Mr. 海冬 is very responsive and helpful. We really like this place, highly recommended!

The accommodation is comfortable and tidy, spacious, and fully equipped with daily necessities, so you can feel the owner's heart. Convenient location, easy to go to different attractions.The downtown street is very lively, with all the restaurants and shopping places. Great communication with the owner without any difficulties. The owner is kind and polite👍🏻 to come to Kumamoto next time and will definitely stay again. Highly recommended! The only small place to note that the mansion apartment does not have an elevator, there is a short flight of stairs, please do not bring overweight suitcases as you see this review and are ready to check in.

Cute cozy apartment renovated with very good taste, light and minimalistic. New good quality amenities. There is some kind of storage office on the ground floor under the apartment so you will be hearing noise just under your window from parking vans (beeping all the time), slamming doors and talking people. Sleeping late is somehow difficult but all together a very good stay.
