Staying at Diandra Guesthouse was an absolute delight. From the moment we stepped in, we were enveloped in warmth and comfort. The cozy ambiance, with its tasteful decor and inviting atmosphere, instantly made us feel at home. Our room was impeccably clean and thoughtfully appointed, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly welcoming, treating us like old friends rather than mere guests. The peaceful surroundings provided the perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We left feeling rejuvenated and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend for anyone seeking a tranquil and homely getaway.

Our four night boat trip to see Orang Utans with biologist Arif was superb. Food cooked by Miriami was simply fabulous. As we insisted, everything was cooked in NON Palm or NON coconut oil, very few fried things, and no meat. The captain Jedi and crew Bobi were so friendly, competent young men! The boat was spacious, super clean, hot shower worked. For four nights and days my husband and I enjoyed magical Borneo. We saw wild Orang Utans, plus these beautiful apes at the three feeding stations, the most illusive monkey: Gibbon(s), 5 of the remaining 500 Storm Storks, and numerous other creatures. All because of Arif's trained eyes and professional knowledge. We travel more than 330 days a year, and are totally jaded travelers. From Helsinki to Hanga Rua, From Falkland island to Svalvard island, from Mongolia to Tibet, we have traveled the planet quite a bit. Did saffaris more than 12 times in a few African nations. This Borneo jungle trip with Arif ranks within the top three.

Fantastic experience and exceptional service! From pick-up to drop-off, everything ran smoothly. The team was warm and welcoming, and the boat matched the description perfectly—though we were pleasantly surprised to have occasional internet access! Our guide, Teguh, was incredibly knowledgeable and truly an expert. He enriched our journey with insightful information and even surprised us one evening with a traditional Borneo music performance during dinner—an unexpected and delightful highlight. The captain, cook, and boat assistant were all friendly and engaging, generously sharing their knowledge and pointing out many interesting sights along the way. The food was outstanding—plentiful and delicious, perhaps even a bit too much! Overall, a truly memorable and well-organized experience. Highly recommended! Mustn't forget about the orangutans and other wildlife we saw. A absolutely fantastic experience.

My husband and I have stayed for 2 nights and we lack words of thanks for Arif🥹 We felt right at home, she prepared breakfast for us every day! And often breakfast: potato tortilla, vegetable rolls, banana rolls, fruit and coffee. He also made us dinner - some noodles. There was no need to ask anything because before I asked him he had already prepared it for us. Even the day we were leaving, he prepared a tupper with breakfast to take it to us. He also left us his motorcycle to go to the center of Kumai and he gave us local recommendations. We would take the flight at 7:55 and knowing it, at 6 I was calling us by phone in case we were sleeping. The house was impeccable, Arif was cleaning at all times, taking great care of the cleanliness and aesthetics of the house, not a detail was missing. Arif is a great person with a great heart, who gives everything without expecting anything in return. We definitely recommend it, not only for the quality of the accommodation, but for its kindness.
