Small cottage with charm at Øståsen in Vikersund. 40 min walk upwards from the parking lot. Here there is simple life without electricity and water. The road up is a nice trip, a bit heavy some lots. Recommend going upstairs before dark. Remember good shoes and warm cloths. At the top, the prize awaits, flat and nice with lovely views:) Bunk bed in kitchen, sofa bed in living room. Easy standard without electricity and running running. High standard Cabin close to Norefjell.

Nice high standard cabin for rent. Located in a small private cottage field with a short distance to Norefjell ski center. Walking and skiing trails in umidellbar. The next village is Noresund. There you find shops and gas station. 1 floor contains hallway, stall, large bathroom with sauna, 1 bedroom with family bunk, (Space for 3), Living room and open kitchen solution. In the 2nd floor there are 2 bedrooms + small living room with sitting group. It's also a day bed. Sleep1: double bed, sleep2: 2 single beds.

Spacious house for rent! This is a house for rent from the end of October to the end of April/start of May. It is a short distance to Norefjell, about 25 minutes to drive by car. There are 4 large bedrooms, with beds for a total of 16 pieces. Airy and large living room, great kitchen, there are showers and toilets, and a large drying room. There is water-borne heat in the house, with heat in the floor throughout 1 floor. Bed linens and towels can be arranged for an additional charge.

A spacious wooden deck extends from the cabin, featuring two lounge chairs positioned to take advantage of the scenic mountain and fjord views. A planter box with blooming flowers adds a touch of color to the natural surroundings.

The trolls are in the woods just behind the cabin. They are all nice. We recomend that you have a car avaliable.

Enjoy nature in this beautiful, quiet place! There is no electricity. Fresh water from a new well. Poor phone signals and zero wifi! This is perfect for a digital detox! This is a place for pure relaxation. The climbing park HøytogLavt Modum and Blaafarveværket are just a few minutes away by car. The place used to house workers from the cobalt mines. The mines is now a museum that can be visited during summer. Approximately 40 min drive to Drammen and 75 min to Oslo.

Stayed in February 2025: breathtaking location, modern, elegant chalet, fully furnished. Fireplace with wooden beams provided, sauna, hot tub jacuzzi: just read the listing information it's all there and accurately described. Super responsive, professional and friendly hosts. I travel around the world and I can confidently saying it is one of the best places I have been. I'll definitely visit again!!!

Idyllic, peaceful and lovely place. Screened from the road and other cabins, really nice fenced plot that borders the water with cozy patio down by the water's edge. Space-efficient cabin, fresh bedroom on the main level with good beds. Good with battery powered lamps/light sources. Here both children and adults cost themselves, we would love to come back!

The house has a nice modern decor and through the many windows a beautiful view over the mountains . It has a cozy wood stove and the kitchen has all the comforts. We had a great week. Andreas and Ida respond very quickly to questions and are very thoughtful and helpful. I would recommend everyone to rent their lovely cabin in the mountains.

I have to admit: the road up to Kristin’s hut can be quite adventurous – if it’s rainy and you’re not driving an off-road car – but it’s definitely worth it! Both the view (if you’re lucky) and the house are an absolute dream! We had the whole place to ourselves and loved the peace and quiet up on the hill in this lovely, remote area. The house is extremely cozy – especially with its fireplace and the cave-like bedroom with a view. It’s fairly small, yet the space is used well, so it doesn’t feel small at all. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the solar-powered electricity (plus gas) is enough for all the essentials. We honestly didn’t miss anything – on the contrary, we loved the simplicity (along with the coziness and functionality) of it all. Exactly the kind of place that makes you reconnect with nature and with yourself. Easily could have stayed longer. Thanks, Kristin, for sharing this precious haven with other people who hopefully all appreciate it as much as we did!

We had two nice nights here, and enjoyed both the hot tub and the fire pit to the fullest. We really appreciated that you could leave the car and go for walks up to different places in nature. We pack our bags and go to Sørsetra on Saturday. The stove was warm when we arrived, and we fired it up ourselves on Saturday after the trip. The place was a bit difficult to find, but Øystein responded immediately when we contacted him and showed us where to park and walk to get there. Very peaceful place. We slept very well the first night, but with a little wind the second night the sleep was a little more restless. The view of the sunset could have been even more amazing if 1-2 treetops were removed :)
