Check-in was smooth and easy. The apartment found everything we needed and was clean and in very good condition. The instructions were clear and there was no confusion. All in all, a very clean and comfortable stay. there were 6 adults and we fit well.

We had a great stay at this holiday home! The location was peaceful and beautiful, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The house was very clean and well-maintained, and it had everything we needed — especially the fully equipped kitchen, which made cooking easy for our group. We were 8 friends, and the space was comfortable for all of us. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely recommend it to others. Thank you for the warm hospitality!

Great house, large and perfect for two families together. Coffee and sweets were waiting for us upon arrival, that was great after a long drive.

Nice place in a great location

The apartment was cozy and cozy. It was clean and everything was there. All beds were excellent, including a mattress to put on the floor. Communication was smooth and quick. The parking lot and apartment were easy to find with the instructions soon. We also got great tips on places to eat and see.

This place was absolutely adorable! A cozy and cozy apartment inside 200-year-old logs. The "energies" were inviting and warm. We had a good night's sleep in a good bed. In the morning, I was able to refresh myself by taking a dip from my own beach directly into the Kymen River. A private shower and toilet were a big plus. A stone's throw from the wellness center where I was 4 days at a yoga retreat. It was nice to walk to the place with the birds singing. Tiitus was a friendly and considerate host. "Peaceful Nature Escape" is the perfect name for this property. Thank you 🩷 I can warmly recommend to everyone who comes to stop at the stunning Swedish holiday in Ruukki's milieu. See you again next year as the retreat continues!

fantastic home and fantastic hosts! perfect for a summer holiday

A wonderful place in a stunning historic and rustic milieu, yet close to services. The beach of the river was enchanting and we had a very warm weather, so swimming and paddling in the river was a favorite thing there. There was a big yard where it was great to play badminton and soccer with kids, as well as a well-equipped kitchen, a great setting for cooking and enjoying! In the heat, the ice maker was absolutely a bonus! It went very well!

Lovely stay for a group of friends! Lots of space and things to do for a memorable night.

Maija and her husband Juka are the owners of the summer cottage that lies on their premises, about 20 meters next to their house in a wonderful parclike garden with huge old trees. You are able to use the pier, a SUP, a rowing boat, the wood sauna and the tennis court. The cottage is a really traditional finnish summer cottage with one huge bedroom and toilet on the upper floor, the shower is in the saunahouse at the lake. We really liked the cottage, although it could do with some clearing up (especially the kitchen). The bedroom has blinds to darken up the room, which is great. We found the price too high as you share the premises, which you cannot tell from the pictures. Maija and Juka although are wonderful open people and took us with their boat to a fantastic trip to the archipelago, the highlight of our stay in Kotka. We appreciated them beeing very nice hosts and wish them all the best.

Nice, well-equipped cottage in a great location. The location at the end of the road was quiet, it was easy to be neat with the dog, but in an unfenced yard. The road to the cottage is a narrow and sometimes bumpy, traditional cottage road. When you go from the house to the dock, there are stairs first, then uneven terrain, and finally a sloping stretch of a narrow dock. The scenery and atmosphere on the spacious riverside pier are absolutely charming, you can enjoy them despite the mosquitoes. The cottage was wonderfully cool in the summer heat, cozy even in the rain. The yard has comfortable shaded areas, such as a covered terrace. The nearest, adjacent neighboring cottage is behind the forest and the other on the other side of the river. The kitchen is very well stocked. Good steam in the sauna. The cottage is very clean. Blackout curtains in the sauna. All in all, a great place, I highly recommend it. I'd love to stay at this listing again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It was a lovely Finnish experience and we would definitely look to come back again. The facilities are great. Everything for a tranquil few days was there. We were sad to leave. Thank you .
