Lovely stay in a quiet village, would definitely recommend. Great area for travelling to places like dundee and around the cairngorms. The place was lovely, comfy bed, everything you would need, heated floor in the bathroom was great! It was nice to switch off with no tv for a weekend also! We arrived after dark so struggled to find it at first but once we did it was easy to check in and park 😊

Had the best 21st Birthday weekend at the Edge with my friends. The house was very clean and well equipped. Dave and Lynsay were great hosts and we were met on arrival. Hot tub and view are the highlight for the stay! Perfect location and couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay! X

Beautiful and well appointed cottage in a very quiet location, the perfect place to unwind! Expertly hosted by Catherine from the provision of detailed instructions on finding ‘Roughstones’ to personal touches of a hand written welcome note not to mention the home baking!! This is a real gem that offers rural tranquility whist the towns of Dunkeld and Blairgowrie are only 10 mins by car. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Roughstones or stay again in the future.

Surprise birthday trip, Laura was very welcoming when we arrived and got us situated and then left us to our own devices but was only a message away. She went above and beyond, leaving birthday decorations outside the cabin and provided us with vegetables for the animals and fresh duck eggs. 10/10 beautiful place, wonderful animals and hot tub and lovely hosts. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone thinking of staying in the area. Thanks again!

We loved our week at Emma's place. Such a peaceful setting with great walks for us and our dog on the doorstep. The accommodation was very clean, cosy and comfortable and had everything we could possibly need. Emma is not only a great host for her guests, the feeders in the enclosed garden meant that we were delighted daily by visits from several red squirrels and a wide variety of birds. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this place.

Without a doubt the best air BnB I've stayed at. Liz was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the property is beautiful. There were snacks provided and it was absolutely perfect.

This was a perfect stay. A beautiful, peaceful property with responsive, helpful hosts. For questions you don't always think to ask, they provide a well organized, detailed information book for the property and all appliances, and brochures for activities in all of Scotland. The home is well appointed and has everything you need. I felt taken care of by family with all the extra, thoughtful touches. And the entire apartment smelled lovely and was squeaky clean. If you stay here more than a couple days, you should probably have a car, but I would recommend a car for Scotland anyway. We stayed 11 days and had some work in Dundee but on our free days, we took day trips to cities through the country. So it was a calm home-based to then easily roam around for whatever activity we wanted to add to the trip. We would definitely stay here again.

An incredible moment, David had received us like friends. He is a passionnate host, it was a pleasure too meet someone so dedicated to give life back to place with whole his heart.
