Cosy Seaside Cottage Baltimore

ClaireRating, 5 stars5 days ago
This was the cottage experience we were hoping for in Ireland! We loved the character of the cottage with so much thought put into every detail and texture. The art and decor were very tasteful and the amenities were good and practical. We especially loved making a fire each night even though we aren't terribly experienced at it! And the views from all the windows of the peaceful vegetation were so calming. And the private sitting areas in the yard were delightful - one with an ocean view! Their dog was sweet and friendly, too. The instructions for using the hot water were clear, but somehow we mixed them up so struggled a little with the shower but got it straight eventually! Aisling and Donagh were delightful hosts. A short drive away, Baltimore is a true gem of a town with breathtaking scenery and a rich cultural scene, and it even has a michelin star restaurant if that's your speed. Plus the fun algiers pub! We hope to come back again soon

The Little House, The Cove, Baltimore

LaurenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Spent 3 days in Ginny’s cottage this week and had a really lovely time. The cottage is really quaint and cosy and also within easy walking distance of the main hub of the town. Ginny greeted us at check in and provided great recommendations of places to visit around Baltimore. Everything went really smoothly and we were very happy with our stay, would love to visit/stay again when in Cork :)

Dyane’s place was so magical! We loved how close it was to the beach. Such a fun beach to explore with my kids. Lots of crabs, pretty shells, drift wood, etc. The garden was such a great place to sit out on and look over the sea. The house was surprisingly and spotlessly clean. She clearly takes very good care of it. We loved sitting and playing chess by the fire when it was raining. The kitchen had everything we could have needed. Really felt like a cozy home.

Laughing Seagull Cottage - Amazing Sea Views

LizRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved staying at Laughing Seagull Cottage! There were lambs and bunnies to watch in the surrounding fields and the view of the water and Bere Island was stunning. The super value in town was a perfect place to grab food to cook in the well stocked kitchen. Instructions for how to use the cooktop and oven were easy to follow. We had a few days in by the fireplace with some heavy rain and wind keeping us inside and it was very cozy. The cottage is very cutely decorated and all the furniture is comfy. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Hanna and Alan!

I would highly recommend staying in Evie's incredible little slice of heaven. The home was beautiful, the surrounding landscape was stunning and the animals (including local seals!) made it that much more special. It was the icing on the cake for a dream vacation.

Lighthouse keepers; Home of the year finalist

MaggieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We originally booked this listing in May of 2020, but sadly were not able to make the trip due to Covid. 5 years later we finally got to stay int he lighthouse and it was well worth the wait! It was truly a magical experience, with breathtaking views and so many special little details in the house to make it feel like home. We spent 10 days in Ireland and this was the highlight of our trip!

The Boathouse - Seclusion by the sea

ShannenRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Amiee’s boathouse was a wonderful place to stay in. One of the best AirBnBs I’ve been in. Everything in the picture is exactly how it is when you get there. Checking in was easy and the drive was beautiful. This place is perfect for couples that want to be in a secluded place but close enough to other towns nearby. Perfect location for hiking and walking. Amiee was an excellent host. She makes you feel like you are right at home. I could tell she was very thoughtful on the boathouse’s presentation. She left us some homemade jam and recommendations for other activities as well. Looking forward to coming back! 😊❤️

The Old Church Hall, Ballydehob.

JoRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful converted church hall. It was extremely tastefully decorated with many beautiful touches giving it a lovely homely feel. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well equipped, and had everything you needed for a very comfortable stay. Having a record player was an added bonus! Ballydehob is a quaint little village, but fairly quiet early in the week, with no dining options open while we were there. We were sorry that we missed out on eating at Chestnut, with its Michelin recommendation. We ended up having some good lunches as we explored the local area and cooking at night: enjoying ourselves at home. We would definitely recommend The Old Church Hall to anyone coming to this part of Ireland, giving it 5 stars all round!

Coach House At Glashnacree House & Gardens

Our stay was absolutely amazing. Tucked away in a stunningly setting near Sneem, this charming cottage is the perfect blend of tranquillity, character, and comfort. The Cottage itself is beautiful, combining rustic elegance with thoughtful modern touches. We immediately felt at home, from the cozy living space to the well equipped kitchen and bedrooms. Surrounded by mature woodlands and tropical garden, it’s an oasis of calm. It’s clear a lot of thought has gone into making it feel like a home away from home. A real highlight was the heated swimming pool, which was such a joy to take a relaxing dip after cycling Beara. The outdoor area has a fire pit, grill, seating and would make for some lovely evenings under the stars. Our hosts were super friendly and helpful, and had great recommendations, which added to the experience. If you're looking for a peaceful hideaway with stunning surroundings, this is a true gem. We are already planning our next trip here…

Traditional stone cottage in idyllic South Kerry

BreedaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
I don’t know where to start with this amazing cottage ! Firstly Des was so responsive and flexible with regards to check in as we had a 1year old with us. He met us after we had settled in and gave us local recommendations. He had a lovely welcoming bag of fresh local bread , jam , butter , eggs and milk. Oh and some wine ! The location itself is about 12mins drive from Kenmare as we were down for a family wedding but wanted to stay in a cottage in peaceful surroundings. That is certainly what it was. You could hear the birds singing and it was so relaxing. The cottage was spotless while also being homely and comfortable. The double bed was amazing and Des kindly provided a travel cot even equipped with a pillow and blanket for our toddler !! We don’t have words great enough for this air b&b. If in doubt , 1000% book !!! Thanks again Des !
