This house is truly charming and unique! It’s very close to the beach, and its architecture really reminds me of Italian homes, I think it might have even been built by Italians. There’s a cute little terrace that’s perfect for relaxing, and the garden is full of trees and flowers, with a lovely swimming pool that gives off real vacation vibes. The kitchen and laundry facilities are also well-equipped, making it a comfortable place to stay for a few days. Overall, it’s a cozy and beautiful spot for a relaxing getaway.

The place is beautiful and in a serene beach-front area. The house is clean, spacious and child friendly. Caroline, the host, is soo kind and was able to assist in my enquiries. If you need to relax and rejuvenate from the hustle and bustle, this is the place.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in dem Apartment sehr genossen. Alles war wie beschrieben und sehr sauber. Die Anlage ist gut gepflegt und die netten Jungs von der Security waren super nett.

I stayed at Lydia's place for 5 days with my family.Lydia's place exceeded my expectations! the welcome was good, she responds very fast to her clients. the place is neatly kept! ever clean. and ofcoz a cake surprise on our last day was lovely! I recommend her to anyone travelling to Mombasa.

the appartment was very big and amazing. it had many rooms and bathrooms, even more than the photos. the beach is like 15 mins away but the way there is beautiful and someone will take you there from the appartment and they can also take you back if you need. there are shops and restaurants nearby. I recommend this place

Ritornerò volentieri, ma soprattutto più a lungo . Consiglierò sia la tua villa di Mambrui, perché è qualcosa di magico( GIÀ ne sento la mancanza, perché è stato come essere a casa lontano da casa) sia il tuo alloggio a Watamu soprattutto perché il residence è bellissimo. Tutto è TOP: camera con materasso ortopedico, qualità dei cuscini,MAGI SCHERMO ( pensavo di stare al cinema 🍿) Cucina con tanti elettrodomestici e molto rifornita di utensili e quant’altro. IL CUOCO GIBSON MI HA PREPARATO UNA CENA INDIMENTICABILE con dei ravioli ripieni di pesce fatti a mano, gnocchi e tagliatelle di un buono incredibile! Our stay at Azzurra's place was fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality. The apartment itself was charming, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated. Every detail was thoughtfully curated, making us feel right at home, and the location is so close to the Watamu Mall where you can find an ATM, supermarket, nice coffee shop, and means of transportation to go around. The pool area was like a private oasis beautifully landscaped, impeccably maintained, and just the perfect temperature for a refreshing dip. Whether we were lounging poolside with a good book or taking a leisurely swim under the sun, every moment spent here felt like pure bliss Furthermore, Azzurra went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. One of the best Airbnb stays I have had. I felt right at home. Everyone was so friendly and hospitable it was a joy just to hang around and chat. The environment was so peaceful and beautiful it was a tropical paradise. I definitely would love to come back again to their little slice of heaven.

I was thrilled with my stay ! Tess has thought of absolutely everything to create a perfectly effortless holiday accommodation - lovely coastal style home with open air flowing through and lush greenery around. Every space tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. Each room with privacy and its own patio! Great wifi so you can lounge poolside and get work done if needed:) Chef catering to your needs with fantastic food and really lovely home-style spaces for games, meals and organizing fun days! activities- Tess helped organize our days so we balanced activity and relaxation- helping to plan activities in the water and in Malindi for us based on what our group wanted to do/see. Going on a water safari was awesome- def. a must do! safety + security- never had a single concern. There are call boxes in every room though we never needed. staff was amazing. location - you can walk to the beach! made it so easy to move solo within the group for morning swims and beach walks!

Lovely house, great pool, attentive but unobtrusive staff including a great chef. You need some reliable Tuk Tuk drivers to get to the beach and other places but you wouldn’t get a place of this quality/price by the beach. Both our families had an incredible stay at Watamu.

Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an sehr wohlgefühlt – die Unterkunft war perfekt, super gepflegt und mit so viel Liebe eingerichtet. Auch die Lage war traumhaft! Deine Assistentin Helen war sehr zuverlässig und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen wieder!

Magnifique séjour à Watamu, la villa est au calme dans un lieu très privé. c'est un peu loin de la plage pour s'y rendre à pied avec des enfants mais on peut facilement prendre un Tuktuk... Le personnel est très discret et toujours prêt à aider ou a conseiller. La piscine est très agréable, les équipements fonctionnels, les chiens sont adorables. Nous avons vraiment aimé rester ici.

Rose is a fantastic host together with the staff on site, always keeping it clean, helping when needed! Very nice house and cozy pool, nice to also have neighbours (two similar houses next to each other). Only thing to note is that the location is slightly off but we rented motorbikes that were delivered to the house and Anthony the Tuktuk driver is great to drive you anywhere, so not a problem in the end! Also Kenyan power with the power cuts, but the generator always worked so it wasn’t a big issue.

Brigid has a very clean well furnished apartment that's in a serene well guarded location The swimming pool is clean and there is ample parking. She is an awesome host who is available incase of anything.

Rita was an absolutely wonderful host. She allowed us to check in earlier since we were travelling from far. In fact , she was awake when we arrived early in the morning to usher us in. The house was clean, spacious and super beautiful. The surrounding were green and well maintained. The staff at the house were really helpful and the place felt very secure. We enjoyed our stay at this house. We enjoyed the food that was prepared for us by the host and the chill and relaxing atmosphere created for the guest. I would highly recommend this place and I will be back again soon. Thank you for making our stay in Watamu memorable.

Lovely appartment just in front of the beach and close to all amenities. Very good communication with Alessandro who was always prompt to responding to queries. The A/C in the room was much appreciated! The nearby hôtels are a bit noisy over the week end. Overall a very pleasant experience!

We had a great stay at Lucy’s place. Check-in was smooth and on time, and the place was clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The swimming pool was amazing, and we were able to use it every day. The air conditioner kept us comfortable, and having a washing machine and iron was really helpful, especially with the clothes we brought. A cleaner came in regularly, which kept everything tidy. Getting to the main amenities and nearby cities was easy, and tuk-tuks were readily available to pick us up whenever needed. Overall, everything went smoothly, and I would highly recommend staying at Lucy’s place!

I had a wonderful stay at Sandras place, she is an amazing host and very easy to get along with. The apartment is spacious, hotel standards clean and very welcoming. It felt like home away from home and If my plans allowed, I would really have been happy, comfortable and satisfied to stay longer at Sandras apartment. The location is perfect, it is quiet and the balcony brings in some ocean breeze. It is located centrally to all amenities e.g supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants e.t.c. All basic things were provided and you have alot of privacy for yourself too. I know I have a second home at Sandras place whenever I visit Mombasa again and would recommend anyone to stay at Sandras. Thanks Sandra for the experience.

This was probably the best AirBnB I had been to. The place was beautiful, the views were amazing and the proximity to the swimming pool and the beach were just what we needed. Gumato was very responsive to all our needs and recommended an amazing chef who honestly overfed us! Once or twice the electricity went out but the back up generator came on almost instantly. I can't wait to get back here. I'm giving this place a 10/10 rating! I couldn't ask for more!

I thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful and laid-back atmosphere during my stay. There is a gym located within the premises, and the instructors were incredibly friendly. Additionally, it's a short and easy walk to the beach. Highly recommended!

Susan’s place is a true gem. The beds were comfortable, always hot water and power, well equipped kitchen and a gorgeous pool and patio. Even niceties I dint expect like security cameras, house cleaning and a quality washing machine. You have all you need to live there autonomously. Next door is a great pizza place w vegan pizza and cocktails! Notes for families: the beach that is directly outside of Susan’s compound is not family friendly nor good for swimming (trash and khat chewers). But the cleaner swim able beach is just a 8 min Tuk Tuk ride away. Worth the distance to have such a gorgeous condo! The pool was shallow enough for my 5 yo to stand w her head above water but a short child or a younger child couldn’t stand. There is no “kiddie pool”
