Janik’s place was absolutely the best. There was so much attention to detail. The kitchen had all necessities. The bathrooms had all the amenities plus towels in all sizes. There was a lot of storage space in all the rooms & kitchen. The washing machine was very useful for a long stay. Even washing powder was provided (but we prefer liquid detergent so we got our own). In addition to the three main rooms there was a small extra room and an additional bathroom of a good size, which we didn’t know was there when we went. (We didn’t have to use this but shared the info in case someone is interested). All the rooms & the living room were very cheerful with windows facing outside & a lot of sunshine coming in, which I loved! The scenery was beautiful as it overlooked the Colombo golf course! It was very peaceful with the sounds of birds chirping & no traffic noise. The very best part was that the place was squeaky clean with comfy beds! Total value for money! Thank u Janik!

Grateful to have this stay at Havelock City - close to so many helpful shops and food court, amenities, etc., for our final days in the country. The place was a generous size, well maintained, great common spaces and bedrooms, very secure and wonderful location. Highly recommend for a family or small group! Thanks for hosting us!

Staying at this apartment felt like a true home away from home. Moving out of our childhood house was a big transition, but this space made it easier. It was modern, spacious, and immaculately clean, with every detail thoughtfully arranged. The kitchen was well-equipped with charming dishes, making even simple meals enjoyable. Both bedrooms had lovely balconies with breathtaking views, perfect for travellers. One of the most special sights was a serene Buddha statue on a nearby rooftop, glowing beautifully at night. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, helping us extend our stay when needed. On checkout day, an emergency came up, and he graciously allowed us a late checkout. His hospitality truly made a difference. Whether you're visiting for a short stay or need a comfortable transition space like us, this apartment is an excellent choice. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a touch of warmth during their stay.

great place walking distance to the beach. swimmable sea. apartment doesn’t have a sea view. but that’s a plus because the seaside restaurants have pounding music in the weekend and the noise doesn’t travel to this apartment.

Thoroughly enjoyed staying at Kanishka airbnb. The location was fantastic with easy rides with PickMe. Kanishka was very responsive and easily sorted out any minor issues that came up. Would love to stay here again in the future

I stayed at Sumudu's place with my mother for nearly 4 weeks. we felt right at home. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. The complex was secure and had gym and a pool. Sumudu is such a responsive and helpful host. Event hough the apartment complex was right next to a busy street, the apartment was very quiet. There are lot of supermartkets and restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend Sumudu's place to anyone who is looking for a place near Colombo.

Le logement est top. Des gardes surveillent toujours l’entrée. L’espace est sympa une chambre avec SDB, puis une suite parentale avec sa salle de bain privée, les espaces peuvent se dissocier. Balcon avec table pour manger à l’extérieur au top ! Une ligne de train sépare le logement et la plage, mais cela est assez normal au Sri Lanka, car le train longe toute une partie de l’île. L’appartement est situé à une minute de la plage, des Restaurants bordent tout le long de la plage, pas chers, et très sympa ! La plage n’est pas la plus belle de l’île , n’hésitez pas à vous éloigner un peu, et vous verrez des spots encore plus jolis. Un supermarché se trouve à 10 minutes à pied. À deux minutes en tuk tuk super Hotel avec Piscine, qui propose un buffet excellent ! Il y a une piscine sur le toit, elle n’est pas toujours très propre ! Notre hôte nous a donné un contact qui vous a servi de chauffeur une partie de notre séjour. Moins? Pas de volet il faudra vivre au rythme du soleil !

Thilak's apartment is highly recommended. Great place for short or long stays. Breath-taking 360 degree View from the rooftop, sea on one side and the City on the other sides. Conveniently located on a relatively quiet street between two major roads. Great access to all city attractions. Communication was great and seamless. Thilak was responsive and considerate ensuring our stay was comfortable from start to finish. 24/7 Security was an added bonus.

We had a very enjoyable stay in Colombo. The hosts communicated very well from the initial contact we had with them. They were professional in their services, flexible, the apartment was also very clean and the linen was good quality.

Sono stata a Colombo per lavoro e mi sono trovata benissimo nell'appartamento di Romesh. L'appartamento è carino, pulito e ha tutto il necessario per un soggiorno lungo o breve. Nel palazzo ci sono piscina, palestra e supermercato e si trova in un'ottima posizione a Colombo. Romesh è stato un host fantastico, sempre gentile, disponibile e pronto ad aiutarti per qualsiasi necessità. Consiglio a tutti di soggiornare qui!

Such a wonderful stay for our family, as we all enjoyed ourselves using the amenities of the residences. This is very much a family friendly residence, with a playground and a pool (not just 1 pool, but 3 pools - one was a leisure pool, the other was a pool for toddlers which is shallow and the other was a lap pool). There was also a gym, but we didn’t get time to use this. Great location as it is walking distance to restaurants and supermarkets. There is also a minimart within the building which was really handy, as we literally went down everyday to get something, whether it be drinks, sweets or snacks for the kids. Everything was as listed and the host is extremely helpful and responsive! Would highly recommend and if we come back to Colombo, this will be the place to stay with kids. Thank you so much :)

Convenient location . Cargills was a short walk down udawatte road. Secured property. Saw wild life. Monkeys birds and even a peacock! The fab , perera and sons , chemist and clothing shops etc are only down the road. Perfect location. Host was proactive when there was a power outage notifying us well in advance about it and kept us updated about the pool renovations and attended promptly to other issues and needs.

This stay was extremely comfortable. The apartment was spotless clean with beautifully decorated interior. 24hr security is given to the complex and the layout of the apartment was perfect. Hirushke and his family were very helpful and responsive. Communication was great. Also the apartment was well equipped. It had a microwave, electric kettle, clothing iron and the whole apartment was air conditioned. Overall our experience with them was 10/10. I would recommend this property to anyone and everyone. We’re looking forward to our next stay already.

This is my third time staying at Yas's place. First 02 times I was traveling Solo but this time came with my wife. Self and wife had a great stay here! The host was extremely helpful right from booking all the way to check out, always checking up on us through messages to see if we had any problems, and always replying promptly. she had been really prompt in communication Short walk to local supermarket and Tuk Tuk stand. Local amenities include pharmacy, Restaurants and take away shops all within walking distance. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Sri Lanka. would recommend the place for everyone who comes to this part of Colombo.

This home was very spacious, well air-conditioned, the beds were comfortable and we felt secure since it is in a gated community. The guard staff at the gate were very help with getting us taxis. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfast in the morning. Stores are nearby. Chathu, our host, was very helpful and only a text away to answer our questions. We would definitively stay at this Airbnb again.

Superbe logement. Propre. belles installations. Correspond a la description. Proche d'un supermarché et de restaurants. a 40 min du centre de Colombo. Proche de la route et d'une école hymne national le matin. wifi plutôt bon. L'hôte est très reactif et le gardien sur place très gentil. La salle de sport et la piscine est très agréable ainsi que la douche exterieure. Parfait pour notre séjour de 2 nuits en famille.

A very "cozy" apartment indeed: it suited our family of 3 adults perfectly. Amazing views & ambience. The apartment is located in a very central part of Colombo with easy access to many eateries, hotels & shopping outlets. There is a supermarket directly opposite the apartment building, which was extremely convenient. The apartment building had excellent security staff, who were so very kind & obliging, a BIG THANK YOU to them for helping us with all our luggage & shopping bags at varied intervals & also helping us safely navigate the many cabbies we travelled with.😀 The owner of the apartment was flexible with check-in & check-out times which was so helpful. He even met us at the apartment when we checked in way early in the morning. Disappointingly the wifi in the apartment was very unreliable. All other appliances including the washing machine & hot water system worked fine though, no problems. A fantastic holiday stay all in all! 🌸

We stayed one month and It was a nice stay. Place was exactly same as described. A calm place. We felt like @ home.

This was a hidden gem for sure and glad we found it . Looking for a place close to the airport to unwind and prepare for our next flight we booked into this beautiful place. The experience from the get go was pleasant . The host was very responsive and accommodated our requests . What we loved the most about this place is the quaint surroundings and the beautiful green patches with lakes inside this gated community . It was very private and peaceful. We enjoyed our evening walks and the accommodation itself was well equipped and very comfortable. Thanks once again to the host for the help in making our stay memorable. Our stay at Villa Mandala was just beyond our expectations. The welcome from Yassi and Indika as well as their incredible kindness and availability made our stay the best vacation of our lives! We loved spending time chatting and sharing with them about Sri Lankan culture. The villa is very large and spacious, the garden and swimming pool a haven of peace. Our trip to Sri Lanka would not have had this sweet flavor without our hosts who we miss terribly! More than friends, we now consider them as members of our family so much they did for us during our stay with them! We sincerely hope to be able to return to see them soon!
