Lots of greenery and the perfect cosy perch amidst it all - that is what our stay at illuri farms was about. The cottages themselves are comfortable, well equipped (functional kitchen, hot water, refrigerator, ac for hot months) and oodles of privacy. Greatly recommend this. Location is very easy to find and still offers that secluded feel. Well serviced by online delivery and also close by to lot of things to do. There actually are a few folks staying for longer duration, a year as well! Lastly the people you interact with are fabulous…Poonam & Srikant, family and the beagles are around there if you feel like conversing and also afford you the privacy that you want. Absolutely loved the impromptu bonfire that we got invited to and totally enjoyed it. Perfect rating 5 for what we usually look for…a peaceful few days to ourselves. 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Well when we as a group of old friends decided to meet for a reunion and were looking for a place to spend an entire day reliving byogone days, we ended up our search at this place just an hour away from city. What a place! That was our reaction as soon as we entered the premises. The structures within the area are tastefully designed and placed giving prominence to the greenery. We were welcomed by Sandeep: our host and gave a brief about what we would be in for. He was warm and suave and we connected instantly. We had the entire property to ourselves and we indulged in playing Futsal in the lawn area, reminiscing and having lots of banters. We were assisted by 2 caretakers who are always present to tend to your needs at any point in time. The food was top notch and we also had some BBQ during night time along with great music and projector in the lounge area. Very well maintained property within city limits and amid lush greenery. If you are visiting Mangalore, I would recommend this place for accommodation.

Calm and serene location with quick access to the main highway. Nice place for a group to have a weekend getaway from Bangalore. Food availability is a slight issue in the vicinity, so plan in advance.

The house is as mentioned in the pictures and was very clean, well maintained, its located in a serene natural neighbourhood, you will enjoy your morning tea in the balcony the most staring at the lush green coffee plantation and your silent nights with natural sound of insects. Most importantly the owner Devaiha was very polite, helpful and provided us with very tasty breakfast and dinner. He also helped us with extra baby food prep and utensils as we were travelling with our 2 year old. Owner’s family was very kind to us and often played with our daughter as well. It was all in all a great experience staying with Devaiha and his family. I highly recommend this place.

This was by far the best stay experience I had. Adarsh and his cousin Srinidhi were extremely helpful and responsive. The property is a slice of heaven with its beautiful gardens and wide open spaces. The food served was so tasty and delicious. Felt like my grandmother‘s village home.

Wonderful place. We had complete privacy. Staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to make it a great stay for us. Everything was as described and place had a vintage charm. Would have loved if there were any restaurants nearby. But kitchen is well equipped for all needs.

We had a wonderful stay at this peaceful home nestled in a coffee plantation. The space is clean, cozy, and perfect for a small family — our kids loved the bunk beds! There are all the kitchen essentials for a comfortable stay and great WiFi. The outdoor area is spacious and refreshing, with carrom, badminton, and plenty of sunshine. The view of Mullayyangiri is beautiful, and Hirekolale Lake is just a short walk away. Dheeraj and his mom are warm, welcoming hosts who made us feel right at home. Breakfast and coffee were delicious. We also loved spending time with Ruby and Brownie, the friendly pet dogs! We could not get enough of them and sorely missed them. The rustling of silver oaks and birdsong in the mornings and evenings was mesmerizing — a perfect way to start and end the day. Swiggy/Zomato delivers here, and it’s just a scenic 20 min drive to Chikkamagaluru. We booked a jeep tour to nearby spots. Photos don’t do justice — the place is even better in person. Highly recommend!

This is the 5th time i have visited this place and i always feel at home and Vivek is a wonderful host, always ready to help and reachable. Even the caretaker is an awesome person very helpful and always ready to go beyond to make the guests feel at home.

Our stay at Wild Breeze Homestay was absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed a spacious area perfect for our furry friends, a refreshing pool to cool off in, and a range of games including foosball, billiards, and even a small basketball pit. Prashanti, our host, was incredibly warm and welcoming, making the entire process from booking to checkout feel seamless and like home. The staff were always on hand, ready to help with anything we needed during our visit. This homestay is a fantastic private getaway for anyone looking for peace and great amenities. A big thank you to Prashanti for her generous hospitality—we can't wait to come back!

Less than 100 Kms drive from Bangalore takes you to this hidden gem. Peaceful surroundings , lovely pets , Yummy vegetarian home made food, And there are multiple trails , ponds , viewpoints hidden nearby waiting to be explored. Me and Sansa had a wonderful stay. Sansa had her first swim here ;) Gauri the caretaker cooks heavenly food . Host Yamini was super helpful and approachable during the stay !! We are definitely going back very soon.

We had a wonderful stay! My kids especially enjoyed the pool and the garden area. It would have been even better if the pool were a bit larger, but overall, it was a great experience. We hope to visit again soon!

This stay was everything we hoped for and more. The place is just as stunning as the pictures, and waking up to the serene morning view was magical. We went for a walk and were surrounded by lush greenery — it felt like a peaceful escape from the world. The space was spotless and well cared for, and the farm itself is beautiful and perfect for a quiet stroll. But what truly made our trip unforgettable were the hosts, Rajalakshmi and her husband. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and thoughtful — from checking in on our safety to sharing their lovely home, preparing a delicious breakfast, and even introducing us to their sweet dogs, Rocky and Monk. It was such a heartwarming experience. I’d recommend this place 10/10 — for the warmth, the nature, and the genuine hospitality. I’ll definitely come back here with my parents next time!

A great place to unwind and relax with family & friends. Uncle and Aunty are warm and gracious hosts. Carrying home amazing memories of wise conversations with them, endless fetch sessions with Bozo and AB, bonfire fun with our friends, and a bunch of tasty recipes. The surroudings are peaceful, serene, lush green and you wake up to the sounds of birds chirping in the morning. The place is spotless and well-equipped with all the necessary amenities. The food is amazing and the plantation homestay experience is a must-try and we look forward to visiting again!

We were looking for a getaway for our anniversary. We chose Jayalaxmi estate to spend time looking at its beautiful surroundings, peaceful, tranquil space with furry friends, and we got everything we expected and more. We only met Deejan and his mom, who were excellent hosts and treated us warmly throughout our stay. 'Deejan, the time spent with you was great, and we had long, engaging conversations'. A very helpful person, and kept checking in on us throughout our stay. But the highlight of our trip were Chukki, and Gypsy; we take back all our fond memories from them and miss them on day 1 after reaching back home. Gypsy is a lovely warm soul and Chukki an abundance of love giver. The coffee served was to our taste, and a healthy, nourishing breakfast served by Deejan's mom that got us ready each morning. All the food, including the milk, was from their farm. All in all, we will remember Deejan and Tanvi's place for a very long time and hope to meet them in the future. Thank you

A very good place to visit if you want to relax and enjoy nature. Near to the nature with forest and lake within the property. Shaji and his staff was very helpful and professional. The only problem I faced was with the route towards the stay, the last 1 km route is not good.

This property is a gem! Perfect for a getaway around Mysore. We were 2 friends who were looking to spend a peaceful weekend away and this place was perfect. Special mention about Bahadur and his family who were very hospitable and cooked the best meals for us. Definitely coming back here.

Kushi is not a Superhost for nothing...she is omnipresent..you have a request, she is available and in almost all occasions it will be granted...she has a knack of pleasantly surprising you..Ali took really good care of us, was always there for us and served us with delicious food... We had a great time along with our furry baby..she turned into an explorer in the vast open spaces ....An absolute visit..and revisit. It simply rejuvenating !!

Homestay inside a huge coffee plantation estate.. the bunglow is also gigantic with plenty of common sitting area, huge balcony and 3 big bedrooms. Food was excellent with great malnad cuisine and extensive options. extremely peaceful, would love to recommend. Since part of the huge estate, so no other shops or restaurant nearby. And having a vehicle is mandatory
