Tina’s place was wonderful. It is a gorgeous restoration and partial rebuild into an existing rock face. It is without a doubt a stunning property and very tastefully styled. The location is great with easy access to the beach, close to restaurants and within driving distance to all the attractions the island has to offer. Tina is an incredible host going above and beyond to made sure as her guests we had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. Tina is passionate about Ikaria and shared many travel tips suggestions and recommendations that positively enhanced our Ikarian adventure. Thanks Tina.

Thus Airbnb was fabulous! Super clean, very cute inside and nicely decorated with some unusual items. Nice homemade treats for us - so thoughtful —including homemade wine! Very nice host! We felt right at home. Wish we could have stayed longer. Therma was a special place, too. Loved the municipal baths and the natural hot springs. Little town beach was super clean with beautiful water to swim in. The rocks and pebbles on the beach were so pretty! Highly recommend this place.

This was the second time we stayed at this wonderful location! From the apartment there are amazing views of the ocean, the village below which runs up the mountain, and of course the surrounding mountains. Exploring the village by foot is a must! There are many things to discover here, and the village square at night is bustling with locals who wander down to socialise with each other, sharing a drink or a meal at the local cafe/bars/tavernas. One of our favourites was the taverna Mantouvala which is next to and overlooks the ocean, fantastic views and great food. Our hosts Irini & her husband Foti are amazing! Very friendly and welcoming, not only to the apartment, but also to their home. They are a great source of information about the local culture and will recommend many things to see and do. If you're looking for and authentic Greek island escape without the large tourist crowds, then we would recommend a visit to Karavostimo. We would come here again without hesitation!

The most magical place have ever stayed at. The beauty of the waves and the sky meeting. Flowers everywhere. Loved getting water from spring house. Made friends with all the kitties. We entered in fragments and came away whole .Zoe quickly answered all my questions. . A wonderful place and people

We came to stay at someone’s place and left with two new friends! The stay was amazing. Nick and Myriam are unbelievable people! Not to mention, the house is outstanding—better than the pictures. Imagine living at the top of a hill in a private home, overlooking the endless blue sea, surrounded by a lush green garden. The house had everything we needed, from water to food. Everything was taken care of. This will definitely be our go-to place in Ikaria. Highly recommended!

A beautiful, peaceful sanctuary; a clean and comfortable flat with easy access to places in Gialiskari. It was exactly as described and very well taken care of. The best part was the magnificent view of Gialiskari, the port, and the Icarian Sea from the private porch. The host was very respectful, responsive, flexible, and accommodating, making communication very easy. She was knowledgeable about the area and graciously shared options. It felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed our visit and highly recommend staying at this place in the future!

We made a longer break in Icaria on our bike trip and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay! We felt right at home at Xeni’s and Christos apartment. It was like being at home far from home. We came late by night and she waited on our arrival and gifted us some homemade wine, jam and local honey. She also gave us very detailed information about the amenities of the island and some traditional tavernas In Icaria anyway helped us with everything. It was sad to leave them and this wonderful place but we will definitely come back.

Second time we are visiting Olga’s place and all I can say is that she’s an amazing host. She even got us a mattress topper for my husband’s bad back. She’s very friendly and welcoming. She always brings us eggs wine or produce from her farms. The place has an amazing sea view &sunset. It’s quiet and very private. The kitchen has all you need to cook. Perfect spot for people who seek serenity. Also many choices to dine in the nearby towns and produce stores a couple miles away with all you need. Locals are very helpful and friendly. Icaria is the place to be especially in low season months if you seek peace & quiet, scenic mountain and sea drives and amazing crystal blue waters to swim.
