Maison Marvel is handy to Britomart shopping and restaurants, the ferries to Devonport and Waiheke, and a short pleasant walk through Albert Park to the Art Gallery, University and the Queen St movies. If you have a car, you're close to the Southern and Western Highway on-ramps for day trips out of the city. These factors more than make up for the immediate neighbourhood, which is fairly ordinary. The apartment is comfortable and has everything you need, and Kane is a responsive, generous host. I'd happily recommend it to anyone needing a base for a stay in Auckland.

Gordon’s place was an absolute delight from start to finish! The space was immaculately clean, beautifully organized, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From the cozy bedding to the well-stocked kitchen, it truly felt like a home away from home.

I was looking for a centrally located spot in Auckland city, that also had good eating options and pathways through park area close to hand. Phil's place ticked all of these boxes, and I couldn't be happier with my stay. If you are looking for similar qualities, as well as a comfortable haven to base yourself, look no further!

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Lara’s apartment is located close to the marina and overlooks the water ! It’s very peaceful and quiet. Just a few minutes walk to the hustle and bustle of the marina and its restaurants. But still very peaceful and we could get a good night’s sleep. Furniture, kitchen and equipments all seem very new and modern with no signs of wear and tear. Parking was very convenient , right under the apartment. We highly recommend this apartment if you are looking for a place in Auckland.

Amazing Air BnB that was 10/10! Henry's place is super cool, amazing art, furniture and style... this is one of the best spots I've stayed in Auckland and would highly recommend it to anyone considering a stay. Host was so welcoming, he left cold beers and drinks in the fridge along with fresh bread, eggs and other food to ensure I was well looked after on arrival. Super helpful and went over and above to ensure it was a great stay. Easy self check in, great WIFI, the place has everything you need and was extremely clean and tidy. The home is in the best location, with local cafe's, food stores, parks and beach all within 5-10mins walk. Thanks Henry!!

We had a lovely stay at Josh’s apartment in Ponsonby. It was close to everything, with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The place was clean and tidy and we were very comfortable there. We would definitely stay again!

My two sisters and I had a great stay. The unit is light, sunny and had everything we needed. Very good walking distance to the Viaduct area and downtown Auckland. It was lovely sitting on the wee balcony in the morning and evening, with the Harbour bridge lit up in the distance. Pam left good information, and responded immediately with helpful advice to the only question we had. This was an excellent spot to base ourselves for a weekend in the city, we would come again.

Morgan was helpful. The house in its heyday would have been a bustling, family home, now filled with 'ghosts of families past'. It is old but big, full kitchen; internal garage very useful. Keys in locks, wouldn't turn but her Mum came & got the door open thankfully. Lounge pictures spooky, not attractive; suggest changing them up to make it more welcoming. I appreciated the filtered H2O & the Mothers kindness of coming over & making the gate dog safe. Yes, 15 min walk to big Manly beach. It is a beautiful beach! It is in the burbs, a house in a street, not on the beach, as you may think when reading the ad, but not far! You will hear neighbours doing their thing as have houses behind, front & next to you; some very close. A/c is the saving grace as the white noise blocks noise out & keeps the temperatures comfy. A bit dusty/musty outside & in garage but inside kept well & clean thanks to Mama bear I am sure! Nice tree filled street. Close to shops/restaurants. The stay suited our need

We had a three night stay at Malina's house and it was a fantastic experience. The location was perfect and within 5 min walk to the main Mission Bay bars and restaurants. Malina and Rod were both highly responsive and provided suggestions and also helped rescue us by lending us two international adapters for our devices. The house is beautiful and as shown in the photos. Modern and clean and the standout has to be the pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Our kids spent every afternoon in the pool area and loved it all. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in the Mission Bay area.

We had a fantastic stay at Jo’s place. The home is beautiful, clean, and very comfortable. Jo was an amazing host—super accommodating and always quick to communicate. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience in Auckland. Highly recommend!

We loved staying here! The lovely space upstairs with the beautiful view meant we could enjoy meals with our teenagers and then they were based in the downstairs area and could sit around the fire and wander off to the beach. The decor was fun, the amenities were great and we could take the dog. We had a fantastic weekend!

We stayed at Lyndal’s home to attend a Coldplay concert at Eden Stadium. The home is only a 5 minute walk away which made it perfectly located. The Kingsland area has many, many restaurants and with the train station only 500 metres away everything in Auckland is well within reach. We loved everything about our stay here.

Nice wee private space for a couple. Very peaceful and quiet location, easy access to walking tracks and beach. Great coffee and snacks at sundays on the beach.

Amy is a highly responsive host who gives you the space and privacy of your unit. That is significant because she lives in the unit behind with her husband and child. I selected this unit primarily due to proximity to my mother, who is in a nearby care center, and was delighted with the additional aspects that made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. The layout of the common areas is open and optimized with plenty of windows, a large sliding door to the deck and opening doors to the porch. We didn't need to use the A/C much because the airflow was excellent and the fans in the bedrooms are large and multi speed. The off-street parking is a particularly useful feature and maneuvering into it is easy for competent drivers. My main criteria for reviewing an AirBnB is whether I would stay there again and Amy's unit is a definite yes in that regard.

We had a great stay in this lovely accommodation. Perfect for a couple. It was very quiet despite being off a main road and it was fantastic having the bus into the city right outside the door. Great coffee place across the road. Everything was very well described and Carol was a responsive and helpful host. Thanks 😊

Our family of 4 had a great holiday in Auckland at Jon's place. The place was located quite centrally and within walking distance to Britomart and Wynyard Quarters. The place was spotless clean and had everything you could possible need. There were loads of amenities and bathroom basics. There were kitchen basics, coffee machine and snacks which was a very nice touch from Job. Best of all there we games and toys for the kids. The apartment is secure with ample parking and is right next to the park and grocery stores. It can get quite loud as it is on the main st when the windows are open esp on weekends which you need in the main living room and downstairs rooms because it doesn't have aircon but it was ok for us as the temp was coming down but it did get quite warm on some nights without aircon downstairs. Jon is an excellent host, very helpful, responsive and attentive. We felt right at home and would def stay here again if we come back to Auckland :) highly recommended

John’s apartment is not a great apartment. No, it’s a VERY great apartment, probably the best I have ever rented in Auckland. Ideally located, very well furnished, full of light, it ticks all the boxes.

Really great place we enjoyed our stay the balcony is really nice to sit on great sunsets and the sound proofing is quite good so you don’t hear the motorway. Really close to Albany mall and the surrounding bays, so many great places to eat. And it was only 20 mins into the city. Would recommend it for a super affordable stay in Auckland.

Great location with an amazing deck and views...

Modern, centrally-located, city apartment. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants with a local supermarket across the road. Linley very responsive and attentive with lovely touches around the rental, including loads of kitchen supplies. Bedrooms were a little tight for four people with lots of luggage, but it IS a city apartment. Would stay again.

This is an amazing place to stay. The apartment is new, modern and clean. The furnishings are second to none. The location could not be any better. More than all of that, Michael goes above and beyond to be a first-class host. There are numerous extras such as cheese, fruit, fresh artisan bread just to name a few, which makes the whole experience really wonderful. Such a thoughtful host and I would highly recommend to anyone.
