Perfect stay. The villa is beautiful, very clean and nice. Located 15 minutes by car from Rethymnon. Perfect for exploring the western part of Crete. Beautiful view. Very easy house to stay in. Excellent pool and Jacuzzi (2 seats). Cleaning done halfway through the stay. One of our best stays.

The villa is absolutely gorgeous. It is in a small town with no facilities (apart from a very informal cafe next door), but the quiet area was exactly what we were looking for. Yes there are some dogs etc, but not excessive, the noise is just local life in the town, which was actually really lovely. The hosts were extremely communicative, we had a few minor issues, but they were sorted in a matter of minutes! Loads of tavernas, beaches, supermarkets within a very short drive, spoilt for choice for loads of amazing food. Highly recommend a stay here, the villa, area, food and people were all fantastic.

Our family had an amazing time here! It was a great central location for excursions, and had several restaurants within walking distance as well as some flat roads for jogging. The house was perfect for our needs with a great layout. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, as well as the clean modern furnishings. Minoas’s communication was excellent! A wonderful host who provided kitchen basics for the start of our stay and a lovely gift at the end. We would love to stay here if we return to Crete.

We had a wonderful stay at the Aegean Sunset Villas - Villa Sun! The villa was well equipped – it really had everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We particularly liked the great pool and the hot tub – perfect for relaxing. The location is quiet and ideal to simply unwind. The view was fantastic – every evening we could enjoy the sunset over the sea. For our little daughter, we were provided with a good baby bed and a sparkling clean high chair. A big thank you to Maria, who welcomed us very warmly and was always there for us. Their hospitality was exceptional. We would come back anytime!

We had a great time in this beautiful house, everything was impeccable, very clean, super equipped and very functional, the pool was very welcome to cool off under the Cretan sun - In addition Karolina graciously offered us an adorable gift of different Cretan handicrafts a real treat thank you very much, Karolina is very responsive and very efficient Everything was perfect 10 out of 10 if we come back to Crètes it is certain that we will come back to Karolina's Zahra Emma and Jean-Pierre

Fabulous house and location. Clean and stylish with very comfortable beds. Very handy for the beach and town and very close to the supermarket. An exceptionally beautiful part of Crete.

A big thank you to Konstantinos for our stay in Crete. The accommodation is simply great, with a pool with stunning views of the mountains, a real asset for unforgettable moments of relaxation. The village where the house is located is also very welcoming, we highly recommend the tavern at the entrance to the village for its delicious specialties. We were also delighted by the attention of Konstantinos, who spoiled us with a fridge filled with fresh fruit, delicious homemade jam pots and, of course, Raki. All of this went a long way in making our stay idyllic. Thanks again for everything. We will keep a great memory of this experience.

Sparkling clean, high-quality accommodation with panoramic views. The way to the accommodation is only for this house. Comprehensive welcome package: wine, fruit, vegetables, water, eggs, oil, vinegar, etc. Kitchen equipment is plentiful, including tabs for dishwashers, etc. There are blinds everywhere for darkening. Really nice place to stay for breakfast and wine on the terrace. The neighborhood consists of similar houses. The bathroom is a little small for 4 people and the shower hanger does not work. We felt very comfortable. Very quiet and great view of mountains and bay. Thank you for the generous welcome gifts. There would also be enough dishes for 4 people... nothing meticulously counted.

We had a great stay at Michalis'! The location of the property is ideal, with beautiful views and a quiet environment. Michalis and his son welcomed us warmly, even though we arrived a little later because we had taken the more beautiful route through the city of Rethymno. A carafe of raki and chilled water were waiting for us as a welcome – a very nice gesture from Michalis. We especially enjoyed breakfast on the balcony, overlooking the Cretan sea and surrounded by chickens, ducks, cats and the friendly dog Bruno. Our son was thrilled and would have liked to take all the animals with him! The house itself is large, cozy and perfectly equipped and we felt completely comfortable. Michalis' father even surprised us with fresh eggs, a really loving touch. Overall, this place is a place to relax and enjoy. We will be happy to come back. Absolutely recommended!

The terrace overlooking the sea and Matala was large and fantastic. The space is simple but equipped with everything you need. It is very central but not too central. There was always life music in the village, which we loved. It was a nice stay all around in an apartment nice for us. If we come here again, we would try to book the apartment again.

We had a very nice stay. We were the first guests this season, and everything was neatly clean. John was waiting for us with some drinks and snacks for us on arrival. John was very easy to reach via Whats app and very quick to respond. The area is beautiful, and from the whole house there is a nice view to the sea. Plenty of privacy and tranquility in this large house and garden. There are several seats around the house. For example, there is always a possibility to sit in the shade (or the sun). The bedrooms are spacious enough, and also everywhere are just windows (I read somewhere in a review that wouldn't be the case). On the lower floor is a lovely chill spot with the pool table and an additional seating area. Very nice that there are plenty of towels and even cleaning is done every 3 or 4 days. What a luxury! In short, definitely recommended!

We were well received! Angelina was a very nice woman to communicate with. The first night on arrival we got dinner from her because we were delayed 24 hours and the supermarkets were not open. Villa was very clean. Only downside was the wifi in the villa. The connection was very poor and in a room you had no connection at all. After we indicated that there was no wifi, she told me it would be taken care of. After we had raised this, we were in the villa for 9 days. During that remaining time, we didn't hear back from that. The taxi that was offered to take us was also a good taxi service. And all other activities and services offered were high quality. The cleaning ladies were good and thorough in their work which made the villa well maintained. In short, the wifi was a very nice vacation experience and a very nice host.

Stella's Home was the most positive Airbnb experience I've ever had (and I've had some really lovely ones). The place is beautiful and the views are some of the best I've ever seen with the beach being only a 6 minute walk away. Stella was also an exceptional host. She stocked the fridge with some complementary groceries which made for a really positive start to our trip, especially after a day of traveling. It was also one of the most thoughtful things a host has done for one of my stays. Stella was also very communicative, checking in to make sure everything was going well for us and if we needed anything. The hot tub was amazing, the house was spotless and comfortable, the description of the space completely accurate. 5 days was not enough for us here and if I ever make it back to Crete, I will definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend!

Premium Airbnb accommodation: you benefit from both impeccable, very well equipped and beautifully decorated accommodation and a great personalized welcome by Nadine. Her advice is excellent for discovering the local culture, it's very easy to communicate and she has a real sense of hospitality. The very well renovated house is located in an agricultural area, the completely enclosed exterior is beautifully vegetated and very well laid out so that you can enjoy it at all times of the day. Lots of points of interest within 20-min drive. Highly recommended!

We stayed at this location for 9 days and the apartment is great exactly as shown in the pictures. The road to the parking lot next to the apartment is a challenge but can be done. The view from the balcony is stunning, the pale vultures hovered over the mountains which I found a beautiful sight. The only downside I found in the evening after eating downstairs in the village the steep road up. But this may also be due to our condition. Communication with the managers was perfect within a few minutes we got an answer to any questions.

A beautiful, functional, new and clean house in a colourful and a peaceful village. The village located on a mountain and the weather there is amazing. In a 15 minutes drive you will reach beautiful beach - so you win tow different geography in one stay. The communication with the owner was excellent - fast responded for every question and need we had and helped use get along. Warmly Recommend!

We had a fantastic experience at Effies cozy house. The apartment is missing nothing, is clean with spacious rooms and the host does it fantastic. As a host, Effie is always there for you, she sends useful tips and lets you taste tasty local things. So we really got a warm welcome with delicious lemonade. We had a great time and definitely want to come back! So highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay with our family with two small children in Violetta's apartment. The surroundings are beautiful and even though you are a few minutes from a nice town, it is also really a place to unwind. The apartment itself is very nice and solid and the views in the evening are beautiful. Violetta responds quickly to messages and gave us good tips during our stay. Extremely recommended!
