The lodging was wider and more comfortable than the photos. The host was very friendly and consistently attentive to anything that was lacking. Above all, we valued the privacy of our guests to make us feel like we were at home. It was a little far from the central city, but it shouldn't be a problem if you use a rental car. Highly recommend for a long term rental.

My God, what an amazing place and the super efforts the owner put into this! The place was stunning, the amenities were top top notch, the communication was great! Both wife and kids absolutely loved it. If I could give this 10 stars out of 5, I would.

Thank you for your hospitality. It was a one-day stay, but it was a nice old house with an atmosphere that made you relax immediately. The kids especially seemed to like the projector in the bedroom. Next time, I would like to use it during the winter ski season ^_^ Thank you very much.

this camper trailer is amazing! it’s very modern & clean. the appliance are all stylish modern. the rooftop sauna is a must try too! Den san bought us a fresh bread as a welcoming gift, made us feel like going home. we had a great night here, wish can stay longer next time. ありがとう！

Nice stay, it’s a different place as it’s a coffee shop which is used as an air BnB it seems but it was good! It would benefit from some darker blinds and maybe a sofa to relax instead of just coffee tables and chairs. Location and host were excellent, we would stay again!

Obara’s place really felt like a traditional Japanese home with everything you needed! It’s very family and pet friendly and I would highly recommend it. A car is definitely needed as I didn’t see any public access. There are also a lot of nice and good shops around (chocolate, ramen etc). Additionally, Obara really went above and beyond as a host. I lost an item shortly after I left and he made such a big effort to check the whole house when he didn’t even need to and it was greatly appreciated. He also gave welcome snacks at the start and also respected our privacy in a shared space (if sharing the space is a concern for you). Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Beautifully cleaned cabin.There was a hammock hanging in the room, and there were plenty of board games and books, so the children were very excited. It was late August, but it was very cool at night, and I was able to relax while sourcing ingredients and alcohol at the roadside station and nearby shops to enjoy the taste of Hokkaido.

I stayed in the cottage for four days and I had a great experience. I didn't have a car but the host 諒太 has been so helpful and nice to me. Each time I needed something he was here ! There is a barbeque grill in the cottage, and some very nice walks around the area. If you are not afraid of nature, then it's the place to be !
