2 separate houses★Garden/Hakone 3min walk from Sta

I stayed with a lot of children. There was a nearby hot spring that you can walk to, and there were plenty of toys and internet movies in the house to keep the kids from getting bored, so both the kids and the adults were very satisfied. The bus stop and station were also within walking distance, making it very convenient for strolling around Hakone. I will book again if I have the opportunity.

Dog avail. Villa 30minutes from Kamakura by car

KatsutoshiRating, 5 stars16 months ago
During our university spring break, we had the pleasure of staying in the Akatsuki room at Canvas, a place that truly felt like a home away from home. Surrounded by convenience stores, supermarkets, and a pharmacy, the location ensured we lacked for nothing. The Akatsuki room, which is pet-friendly and fully equipped, offered us all the comforts we could wish for. Given Canvas's prime location near the sea, we were just a short walk away from the beach. The winter seascape was stunningly beautiful, a view so mesmerizing that it alone makes extending your stay worthwhile. We highly recommend booking a longer stay to fully immerse yourself in the serene beauty and tranquility this place has to offer.

Rent a villa in Onsen Town!BBQ, orange, night view of the city.A quiet house where you can stay with your dog

We had a fun and relaxing weekend in Atami with friends! The place was clean, cozy, and had a lovely view—perfect for catching up and unwinding. The host was friendly and responsive, which made our stay smooth. Just a heads-up: the house is located uphill, so getting there can be a bit of a climb, but once you’re in, it’s definitely worth it. Great vibes, peaceful surroundings, and close enough to enjoy Atami’s local seafood and attractions. Would recommend for a chill group getaway!

Beautiful house, very quaint and lovely garden, with wonderful amenities, located in a quiet and charming town. We were a group of 8 girls. We appreciated the well stocked kitchen with good quality utensils, electric kettle, etc. And small things like having tissue boxes in the bathrooms, providing Aesop toiletries. And the futons were very thick and good quality! Definitely recommended for bigger groups!

Our family had a wonderful stay at Takeshi’s place - five adults and two kids (preschooler and toddler). The house had everything we needed. The garden was well maintained and gave the house a really homely vibe. We had breakfast outside in the garden on a couple of mornings when the weather was good. Super well stocked amenities; bath and face towels (in the storage area on second floor), drying rack, iron. Kitchenware was organised and clearly labelled. Drip coffee equipment was a plus! Overall a cosy little home. There’s also a sake brewery about 15 mins walk away which we visited (they are celebrating their 200th year anniversary this year!) Some noise from the trains can be heard as the house is located near the tracks, but it’s generally quiet after midnight. Do note that bedroom 2 is located within bedroom 1. Thanks Takeshi for sharing your lovely home. We had a wonderful time.

It was a sudden reservation, but we had a comfortable stay thanks to the very kind guidance we received before check-in. The facility is clean. The bath was a cypress bath, and it was spacious, smelled good, and the bed was comfortable. There was an electronic piano and the children had fun playing it. The view from the veranda was also very good.

The location is awesome with a Lawson about 2 doors down and many good restaurants around. But, the kitchen is well appointed and we were able to cook for our group of 10 adults, 2 young children and an infant with ease. They even had some basic stuff already available (soy sauce, oil, etc). There were a lot of games for the kids, and there were even bikes. The beautiful and very clean beach was about a 6 minute walk away, but the water was still a little too cold for us during our visit, although there were some surfers enjoying the water. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioners worked well. We had a couple of cool nights and we tried opening the windows but it was a little too noisy as the unit is right on the main street. The 2 showers had great water pressure and both toilets had bidets. It was truly a GREAT place to have for our multi-nation family to get together and spend some time in a place that was new to all of us. The home did feel like HOME. We'l be back
