House vacation rentals in Kalmar

We were with our adult children and their families staying for 3 days in Färjestaden with Kim. Big and good house for all of us. Clean and nice. Room for all of us of different ages. Everyone was happy.

We had a lovely Easter at this amazing home with all the amenities. We were 8 adults and a one-year-old and had plenty of space with nice areas for socializing. The host couple had decorated and we felt very welcomed. I can highly recommend this nice home with a fantastic nice host couple. Would love to come back!

Emelie's place was a great value for money. Very spacious living room, a very well equipped kitchen and a really nice welcome drink for us. Location was great at well. Thank you!

Spacious ground floor apartment, perfect for those who need surface. A well-equipped kitchen, here is really everything. Nice landlords, who respond quickly and give tips.

We spent a few nights here and it was the perfect oasis away from city life. The aesthetics felt like walking into a well curated design magazine but with the comfort and coziness of a peaceful escape. Christin’s place had all the amenities we needed and had a great amount of local recommendations, and she was super responsive when we had questions. Would stay again!

Our long stay at Tobias's went very well, we were warmly welcomed and helped throughout the rental period, Tobias is an exemplary host! The house is spacious, very well equipped, with a very nice terrace and pool when the weather is nice. It was a pleasure staying in the house for several weeks, thank you very much.

I was in Kalmar for work and stay at Lennart home was a pleasure. I was feeling like a home. Perfect comunication, no doubt, I can repeat. :)

A very nice accommodation, great location as well as fresh and clean. The host responds quickly if you send messages and solve problems with forgotten things. Highly recommended.

My family and I plus dogs felt very comfortable with Suzanne. The cottage is located in a small village right next to the forest and is very easy to find. The property is fenced, so dogs have safe exercise. Everything you need was available, the cottage was clean and fresh. Suzanne is a friendly and helpful landlady, quick response to inquiries. If you are looking for peace, time for yourself and family as well as slowing down, you will find it here. The nearest shops are about 20 minutes away in Emmaboda.

Extremely pleasant and cozy accommodation in old cultural neighborhood. So atmospheric and nice to walk "home" along Besvärsgatan during Christmas days. The house was beautifully decorated and thoughtfully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Located centrally but very calm and quiet. Nice to see the sea through the living room window. Very good communication with host. Want to rent this summer as well.

The house was so beautiful and the setting was perfect. Swedish forest idyll at the very best. Josefine was so sweet and helpful and quick to respond. I hope we can come back another time.

We liked Per's cottage above expectations, really a wonderful place for a few days of enjoyment. The boat was a fantastic addition too! The host Per is very welcoming and friendly, brought us another life jacket for our oldest daughter. Top service!

We loved staying at Annis house! It was super cozy and even if the house is rather small, it is very well cut, so we had enough space (we arrived with 5 children - 17, 15, 4, 1, 1 - tip: you should rather bring your own extra bed, the existing one is quite small). Particularly worth mentioning is the beautiful children's room with the cozy niche beds! We also enjoyed the terrace and garden. There is much to know about Kosta and its surroundings. We liked various glassblowers (especially Magma Art), the art exhibition in Kosta, the beautiful swimming lake in the immediate vicinity, the nearby moose park and the beautiful forest just across the street. There were an incredible number of blueberries but also cranberries and raspberries. Even the Astrid Lindgren world is only 1.5 hours away by car. The house is on the street but we didn't find that problematic.

Small but completely sufficient for 1-2 people. Everything important was there. The host communicated well and was very straightforward. Amazing location right by the sea. There were 2 bikes, which was very helpful for the trip to shopping. Very satisfied overall.

We had a great time staying at Marion's cozy house. Everything was clean and it had everything we needed. Within walking distance is a middle sized supermarket, the beach is not that far away and you can make a trip to Kalmar and Öland with your car. The communication with Marion was easy and friendly. :) Although it did not bother us, a little hint for those of you who get bothered by brightness in their sleeping room: There are no real curtains or blinds for the windows.

Viktor’s place was perfect for are Ironman weekend in Kalmar. The house is lovely and spacious, just outside of the centre but easy to get to by bus. It is also just off the run course of the Ironman and shops are pretty close too. Wonderful stay would 100% recommend! Thanks Viktor

Such a nice house that in every way met our expectations. We spent the autumn holidays here and appreciated that the house was warm and cozy, with the fireplace that made it extra cozy. There are also several games in the house which the children liked. Great kitchen with everything you need for cooking. The location is great, both in the area with proximity to the sea, and to explore the northern parts of Öland. Everything above combined with smooth check-in and nice host allows me to highly recommend this accommodation!

Gorgeous house on large sunny garden, absolute peace, wonderful sunset. Beautiful modern white tasteful furnishings. Great amenities. Good beds. Lamps were still missing some. The windows do not open because it is very old. Fly screens would make sense. Stairs to the upper floor very steep, but children's gates available. Four bikes available, but very rickety. However, you can drive to the bakery and the beach. Almost perfect cottage, a few more improvements possible..

The White House on Aspö is fully equipped with everything we could possiblbly need on our stay. Andra, and her family and Lennart are friendly and helpful with tips and information about this wonderful place. In addition to the comfortable house Lennart and Andra lent us their private bikes for trips around Aspö and Karlskrona. In the well sorted grocery 5 miniutes from the house all Daily goods also for special needs (vegan or gluten free) are available.Lennart shared his fresh Garden produce and took me on a fishing trip next to Aspö. So our vacation was absolutely great and we thank our hosts for letting us their private Home/paradise😉 Johannes , Sabine and family.

The place is an absolute recommendation! The hosts Krille & Kira are super nice and helpful! The whole house is lovingly and beautifully decorated! For check-in, there were even fresh garden tomatoes, peaches, peppers, figs and also fresh flowers in the house! The little house is beautiful and has absolute charm! The amenities are excellent, everything you need is on site! Including washing machine & dishwasher!!! Sleeping in the attic is an outstanding experience! The location is very rural but you are still very quick to Kalmar. A property and a location like in Bullerbü, an absolutely great Sweden experience! Also an absolute dream for vacations with children! We will definitely come back, even for a longer stay!

We stayed here whilst we took part in Ironman Kalmar and couldn't ask for a better location. Short walk into town, in quiet surroundings and had all the amenities you need. Elisabeth is a great host and was very helpful with any questions we had. would highly recommend

This house is a hidden gem on AirB&B. It has everything you need to feel home and in holiday mood. There even was a welcome present at arrival. The house was super clean and has a nice style. Perfect for families, as there is a big garden with trampoline. Kristoffer is a great host too; very proactive, friendly and quick respons time. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay here again.
