House vacation rentals in Kalmar

We were with our adult children and their families staying for 3 days in Färjestaden with Kim. Big and good house for all of us. Clean and nice. Room for all of us of different ages. Everyone was happy.

We were a group of 13 girls who booked this nice house for our final trip for the LC year. Fantastically nice house with social and nice areas. We would be happy to come back, not least to try the pool and the nice outdoor areas when the weather has become a little warmer!

Emelie's place was a great value for money. Very spacious living room, a very well equipped kitchen and a really nice welcome drink for us. Location was great at well. Thank you!

We felt very comfortable in Ewa's villa. Everything is furnished with a lot of love for detail - wonderful. The spacious house is beautifully situated on the lake. We were often able to go canoeing. There is a great garden with many seats to relax. We enjoyed the time very much. Ewa is really very nice and helpful.

A really nice stay at an equally nice house. 12 people and we could fit without any problems. Everything tidy and there was everything we needed and more 😊

We spent a few nights here and it was the perfect oasis away from city life. The aesthetics felt like walking into a well curated design magazine but with the comfort and coziness of a peaceful escape. Christin’s place had all the amenities we needed and had a great amount of local recommendations, and she was super responsive when we had questions. Would stay again!

Our long stay at Tobias's went very well, we were warmly welcomed and helped throughout the rental period, Tobias is an exemplary host! The house is spacious, very well equipped, with a very nice terrace and pool when the weather is nice. It was a pleasure staying in the house for several weeks, thank you very much.

Nine of us (six adults and three children) stayed in the house over the Easter weekend. It’s located within walking distance of the coast, where you can enjoy beautiful walks, explore the area, or even go for a swim. The house itself is warm and welcoming, and it has everything you might need, including a fully equipped kitchen, plenty of toys, and a great outdoor area where we had our first barbecue of the year. There are also a few bicycles one can use. Rebecka and her father-in-law were both very helpful and kind. They allowed us to check in early and check out late, which was fantastic—and especially appreciated by the children, who made the most of the trampoline. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

We are extremely happy with the stay at Camilla and Patrik’s house. They are nice and fun! The house has chicken, dog and sheep nearby which our daughter enjoyed. It also has a hot tub and nice patio that adults enjoyed. The bed is nice, the kitchen is fantastic. The only thing to call out is that the narrow staircase is a bit tricky for our two-year old daughter to walk down. So we decided to bath the kids outdoor instead. That was kind of fun too! Overall, I feel it was a fantastic place to relax. We would definitely recommend the place and would be happy to stay at the property again if the opportunity arises. Thanks Camilla and Patrik!

Super nice accommodation with moderate distance to Ottenby. Easy to find. Quiet area, here we can absolutely imagine coming back.

I had a great stay at Helge's house! You can get to the island very easily and free of charge from Karlskrona. The ferry leaves approximately every 30 minutes. The few islanders were all very friendly and always greeted. The small supermarket is really very well stocked and has everything you need for weekly shopping. The house and location are at least as beautiful as in the pictures! You can only feel comfortable, switch off perfectly and forget any stress. Helge is extremely nice and accommodating. A really great host. He even has a newer boat than the one in the photo with more horsepower. I strongly recommend that Helge give a briefing, as it is quite rocky close to the water surface. I had a fantastic time. Good for dropouts, couples or family who can also occupy themselves. Price/performance was excellent!

The most amazing Air BnB .. I have stayed in many air bnbs in both the US and Sweden and I can confidently say that this was the nicest place we have ever stayed.. ! Situated in a forest just a 5 minute walk from the Baltic .. and a bakery sells the best cinnamon rolls in the area. The house is fantastic both inside and out .. modern layout and appliances (gas stove!) and even a working disco ball! Everything you need is in place here down to Q-Tips! The beds are comfortable and the outside space is fantastic.. decks all the way around. The hosts were beyond accommodating with our every need including a last minute request for a cake stand 😊Super friendly and provided detailed instructions. We are already looking forward to staying here again !

We had the loveliest stay at Jonas and Jana’s beautiful property! The house itself is so comfortable, with the cozy fire and comfy beds. The kitchen is very well-provisioned and a great place to gather and hang out. We absolutely loved the sauna - and my only regret from our stay is not using it earlier! I appreciated having the gym there… it certainly helped to stay on track with my fitness goals, even while on vacation. Without a doubt, though, the best and most memorable part of our stay was taking a guided hike with Jonas into the woods… with Fika around a fire in a beautiful ravine near a small waterfall. The authentic connection to the land and with our host during that experience was just beautiful. I am so inspired to try some of the things I learned and experienced for my own guests at our Air BnB in Virginia. I appreciated your warm, helpful and enthusiastic communication before/during/after our stay. I am already planning to bring back the rest of my family in the next year!

The hostess has previously lived in a house herself, which is why everything you need is there and it feels very cozy. Everything worked out great, the surroundings are beautiful and it is suitable for dogs, always happy to come back

This is the best of Sweden, look no further! Charlotta's house was so cozy. Easy to live in for at family of two adults + two teenagers. The household has everything you need incl. a barbecue. The beds were comfortable and the indoor environment great. Romantic Swedish wall coverings, not two were alike. The garden was big, full of beautiful spots to hide for shadow or for sun. The beach was top for all ages, even for very small children. People with vulnerable feeds can easily walk barefooted to the beach from the house and also AT the beach. Great local running paths! During our stay we wondered how come it was so quiet, having houses all around. We came to the conclusion that Swedes are very peaceful. Even on a Friday night! Locals were sitting on terraces with friends and families without a sound, waving friendly to us. The boat from Sjuhalla to Karlskrona is a must and the small isles east of Karlskrona worth a visit. Good local Coop. We highly recommend this Paradise!

Nina's cottage fully exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful and above all quiet time there. We returned to minimalism, peace and serenity. The basic idea of the house is wonderful. So thanks for the wonderful week. The contact with Nina was also super friendly and reliable :) We'd love to come back at some point.

We had a great time staying at Marion's cozy house. Everything was clean and it had everything we needed. Within walking distance is a middle sized supermarket, the beach is not that far away and you can make a trip to Kalmar and Öland with your car. The communication with Marion was easy and friendly. :) Although it did not bother us, a little hint for those of you who get bothered by brightness in their sleeping room: There are no real curtains or blinds for the windows.
