We loved our stay, the house was beautiful, warm and had everything we needed. We had a busy weekend in Kaikoura so only wished we could have been home more to enjoy the house. This apartment opening out onto the beautiful Kaikoura Bay was fantastic. We awoke to a beautiful sunrise both mornings from our bedroom. The apartment was Immaculately presented with attention to detail in all aspects. It boasts quality fittings, towels, linen etc. Proximity to the local picture theater allowed me to nip next door to watch 'Tina' which I thoroughly loved. Walking distance to restraunts. Very, very good value for money.

A welcoming entrance features a wooden deck leading to a grey-walled home. Large windows embrace natural light, while a neatly manicured garden with shrubs and a decorative tree complements the outdoor space. The driveway and gravel area extend towards the entrance.

It's a WHALE of a time in Southbay!

We loved our stay at Mel and Kieran’s. Lovely, tidy home with everything you need. Good space in the bedrooms and loved the large bathroom. We had grandparents, parents and kids staying together and there was plenty of space to spread out. Loved the extra TV in the main bedroom for putting kids movies on while the adults hung out in the lounge. Really appreciated all the extra comforts of home - tea, coffee, sugar as well as washing powder, shampoo, soap and conditioner. Lovely area to stay in, very close to, but away from the hustle bustle of kaikoura township. The kids loved going to the marina and walking along the beach every day, there’s even a playground just a short walk away. Walking tracks nearby were great for the active ones in our group. A perfect way to spend a long weekend away!
