I created this inn with the concept of "a space where you can relax with your family and friends while enjoying the nostalgia of good old Japanese houses while fully enjoying Kagoshima sightseeing". The location is a 4-minute walk from the west exit of Kagoshima Chuo Station, the transportation center of Kagoshima City.Located in a quiet residential area, there are many restaurants, convenience stores, drug stores, supermarkets, and car rental shops within walking distance. It is about 40 minutes by shuttle bus from the airport to Kagoshima Chuo Station Bus Terminal.From Kagoshima Chuo Station, each tourist destination is about 10 minutes by tram to Tenmonkan, about 20 minutes by bus to Sakurajima Ferry Terminal, and about 50 minutes by JR Limited Express to Ibusuki Station and Kirishima Jingu Station, it is very conveniently located. The inn has a dining room, living room, bathroom, and three Japanese-style bedrooms (2 single beds, 3 double beds), and you can enjoy morning coffee and meals while feeling the south wind of Kagoshima on the roof balcony of more than 20 ㎡. We had a fantastic stay here, the house is really cosy and comfortable, and the view is absolutely fantastic! I couldn't believe how beautiful it was, both at night and in the morning. We had breakfast on the wooden terrace, while admiring Sakurajima, and it was amazing. The hosts are incredibly friendly and kind, and made sure to welcome us and explain everything when we arrived, and then say goodbye when we checked out. They even gifted us some beautiful handmade coasters! We were thrilled with our stay, and hope we can stay here again in the future. Thank you again so much for everything!

I was surprised to hear that it was a renovated inn related to the traditional culture of Tokunoshima!It may be taken negatively when booking, so I don't write it, but it is stylish and beautifully decorated, furniture, and appliances that I don't think I have renovated it.The large garden with a lot of plants was wonderful with the atmosphere of Tokunoshima.Also, there was a reef spreading out of the sea at low tide in front of me, so it was fun to take a walk on the sea (I think it's a good time for a low tide because you may not be able to come back).

This is an amazing house directly on the beach. It was by far the best rental of our entire Japan trip. As a matter of fact, it was the best Airbnb rental we have had over the past years. Everything was there with clear instructions. It was much better than the pictures. Ideal for our family of 6 from the Netherlands. Highly recommended! It is only a few steps to an unspoiled sand beach, surrounded by a beautiful rocky landscape. It’s a short 10 minute drive to an excellent Onsen, and within an hour there are many things to do and see (for example, the Samurai Armor factory, Samurai residences, a Satsuma pottery village, Japanese gardens, etc.) as well as some great restaurants and stores. We definitely will be back as soon as we have the opportunity. Thank you so much Michiyo for your fantastic service!

Yoshinori was very polite and full of hospitality.I did a shopping service to convenience stores and a demonstration of the Goemon bath.I also really enjoyed talking about the history and culture of Amami.I would like to stay again when I go to Amami again.Thank you very much.😊

7 minutes from the airport, villa with terrace by the beach

it was a great place to stay with the ocean just a few minutes walk from the back door depending on the tide. it was extremely spacious and clean. I don't know how I'm going to go back to life in the US without a fancy toilet, Japanese style shower room, and deep bath tub

Chris had laid out our beddings before we arrived and gave all the instructions. He was always responsive and super helpful. Also a super friendly guy! The place is an old japanese farmhouse and initially I was afraid it would be cold but it was all good. Would def recommend!!
