Luxury Suite Enjoying Spectacular Sea Views and Sunsets

We have an array of things to do with local cafes, fishing club, kayaking, paddle boarding, golf and tennis clubs, and great walks all on our doorstep. Want to do a day trip to the Wairarapa region we can help. The apartment is totally self contained and has its own private access. It also enjoys its own deck, luxury bathroom and kitchen. A king sized bed is the icing on the cake. We can provide meals as required. We can help you with any travel planning throughout New Zealand - and arrange your itinerary. We can take you on day trips to our local wine region if desired and drop off and pick you up from the central city of tequired. Nothing is too much trouble. If you would like a picnic packed we can do that too. Set in a modest seaside village outside of Wellington, the property is a short walk or drive away from a number of cafes, pubs, and acclaimed fish and chips spots. The beach is just steps away. We are a 25 minute train ride to central Wellington or the kapiti coast. We have kayaks, bikes, fishing gear, paddle board available.

Hidden gem - best of two worlds.

An historic cottage in a sheltered dell in the country near Makara Beach, fully restored Te whare iti is 10-15 minutes walk from the rugged Makara coast and roughly 35 minutes from the Wellington CBD. The preserved exterior enfolds very clean, warm and comfortable modern amenities. Importantly- you must provide your own transport as there is no public transport to Makara from Karori the nearest suburb, some 9.5 kms away. Makara is true NZ countryside with a windy, narrow road to match!.

Above the Botanic Gardens our quiet and spacious, character-filled apartment is just a 5 minute drive (25 minute walk for the fit) down to the CBD. The bus service is close and street parking is plentiful and free. Our street has spectacular views of the city and a park opposite with tennis courts. This is a comfortable self contained one bedroom cottage at the rear of a large garden behind our home. Our villa is well over a century old. The train station is next door and 20 minute on the train takes you to the city and Stadium. There’s a restaurant and a cafe just outside our gate and a 10 minute walk to the village where there is a pub, more cafe/dining options, supermarket and shopping. Walking/hiking up Mt Kau Kau and along the Northern Walkways is right at our doorstep

Come and enjoy our lovely one bed-roomed apartment. We have a modern new kitchen and spectacular views of the central city. We provide some breakfast food and there is unlimited WiFi available. There is also a washing machine and dishwasher. Public transport (trains and buses) is a 10-15 minute walk and it is a ten-minute drive from the central city. There are also lovely local restaurants and beautiful walks on the Northern walkway, Mt KauKau and Trelissick Park.

Beautiful quiet "tiny house" garden retreat with mezzanine sleeping loft; very simple but warm and cosy. Carpeted, insulated and double glazed. Sleeps two upstairs on two single mattresses. You need to be agile enough to climb the ladder to the sleeping loft. Own shower and toilet a few metres from the cabin. Heater, kettle, fridge, microwave, toaster and basin in cabin. Wifi.
