**Feels Just Like Home!** We stayed at "Home Away from Home" in Kolhapur for a night on 3rd Aug, 2024, and it was fantastic! Amey, the host, was super awesome and made sure everything was perfect. He even went out of his way to arrange dinner for us when it was pouring rain, and Swiggy and Zomato weren’t delivering. His food suggestions were on point—so tasty! The place itself was spacious, super clean, and had everything we needed. Amey had thoughtfully stocked the kitchen with milk, tea, coffee, and even Maggi for those late-night munchies. The kitchen was spotless, with plenty of cooking utensils and tableware, which was a nice touch. It rained a lot during our stay, and there was a bit of water dripping from the terrace roof. But Amey was really thoughtful—he had already put down mats to keep us safe, which was great. If I had to suggest one thing, it’d be to make the jetspray pipe in the bathroom a little longer, but that’s a minor thing in what was an otherwise awesome stay.

Absolutely worth it. Stunning and pristine location. The caretakers are very helpful and make delicious food. Go for it without any second thought.

We had a great stay at Karan's place for 3 days. The duplex apartment has an excellent view of the lake and surroundings from balconies and all the rooms. The living room is quite spacious with good furniture and fixtures. The kitchen is spic n span with all gadgets and utensils for cooking comfort. Good quality cutlery is also available. Refrigerator and washing machine are almost new. Bedrooms with attached bathroom have clean and good quality linen. As the weather was cool we did not feel the need to use the ACs. The house help who came for cleaning the house did a good job. All in all the house is well maintained and in great condition. During check-in we met Shashank who gave us the keys. He is very helpful and for any query from our side during our stay, he was always prompt in his response. All in all we felt at home and very comfortable. Would highly recommend this place.

It was a short stay at Anuj’s place which he keeps up himself. It is perfect for a getaway and is well connected. Anuj has arranged things in a well thought out manner. TV also has Netflix and Amazon Prime subscriptions. Kitchen is well equipped for making a quick snack or tea/coffee. Children’s play area is decent too. Anuj stays nearby and helped us with both swift checkin and check out. Parking entry area could be a little tight for sedan cars. Wish we could have stayed for another day or two. Thanks for hosting us!

A home away from home. Truly peaceful and relaxing place. the interiors and lights set the mood completely. We stayed for a night as a stopover on our long road trip and the place was really comfortable. Also it being per friendly was an added bonus.

A very calm and peaceful place. It is near the city, but away from the hustle and chaos. The place was very clean and tidy. The host was very cooperative and always available. Since it is on the top floor, the views are pretty good. The only thing missing was a wifi connection but we didn't face an issue since the mobile network was very good.

Had a wonderful stay for 3 days. Place is like as mentioned in the photos! Host and his team are very responsive. Autos easily available from across the road for nearby areas. Location is in a quiet but safe neighborhood.

Excellent place to stay overnight while visiting Dutta Temple. We had planned to drive till Goa from Nagpur and had stay on the way. This place was ideally located before the ghat region. Everything starting from the booking of room and interaction with the host was wonderful. The instructions given by the host guided us well to the location. Parking in front of home was adequate. The room was spread over ground floor and first floor. The ground floor has a bed room, sitting room and dining table. The first floor has a bed room and an excellent terrace overlooking the best views of River Krishna. Wash rooms are available at first and ground floor. Kitchen is sufficiently equipped to make tea and Maggie etc. The best part was Aunty's welcome and home cooked food. We relished the food and dog was also looked after well. Breakfast we had upma. The whole stay was like home only with complete house available. The temple is located at a walking distance. We really enjoyed the stay.
