Vacation rentals in Jaunkalsnava

Great location with private beach. You can use sups to swim around the lake. Very relaxing and quiet place. Host has a house close by, but during our stay nobody was there so we didn’t see a single person around. It was perfect getaway from city, people and technology. House has all you need, there is also a bbq grill outside.

The stay at River House was divine. We went there with our family of four and had two separate bedrooms, it was peaceful around and had a lovely creek by the house. The interior is cozy and reminds you of the movie "Holiday", where you can soak up the atmosphere by the fireplace or by lighting a fire by the creek. There is a possibility to pay extra for the sauna and hot tub, which we totally recommend. If you can, stay for 2 nights, the host recommends local treasures to visit whilst you're there. Also, they are very responsive and help with anything you need. When you go to River House, you're worries don't come with you. There you go to rest and spend time with your loved ones.

Everything was great, the place was amazing, hosts were very helpful. Clean, looked like described, had all the utensils. Great sauna and jacuzzi. Beautiful surroundings.

It was our second time staying at Kaspars' place and it was great again. The house is so beautiful, clean, cosy and well equipped, just perfect. And Kaspar was friendly and responsive. Great place to stay!

The Latvians have a saying - don't look the husband out of a hat. It's the story of John's house that looks simple from the outside and getting inside into a fairy tale. A great place to relax, sleep and spend time with family or friends.

Great host, highly recommended

We had a fantastic time at Aija's. Waking up in the early morning in the middle of nature, with the songs of the cranes audible from the terrace, admiring the sunrise over the marsh, it's really a pleasure. The accommodation is well-equipped, and Aija is very attentive, the wood fire was crackling when we arrived, which allowed us to enjoy the sauna right away. The next day, during our excursion, Aija offered to relight the stove before our return. Really great!

Had a peaceful time with the beautiful view right in front of the cabin, grilling and relaxing in the jacuzzi. 💛

Burning fire stove was welcoming us inside, while everything was just so clean, peaceful and silent, exactly as in pictures. Big windows allowed us to enjoy nature and singing birds straight from the bed. I would definitely come back again. Amazing place, thank you very much!
