Family-friendly vacation rentals in Jätkäsaari

Oula’s place was just right for our requirements. As a party of four all requiring separate rooms, it fitted us perfectly. Lovely peaceful surroundings and a short drive from the centre of Helsinki. The place is stunning with lots of things to do inside. The BBQ was a great touch and the sauna and jacuzzi worked great. Our first impressions of Finland were made greater by staying here!

Teemu is a friendly host with rapid and response

We were able to relax superbly in the Marius cottage by the water. Every day the deer say good morning and we were able to go out with the rowboat. The sauna is great. There are lots of pans and ways to barbecue. There is no cooking option, but a kettle and microwave are available. It was a great fit for us. Mariu is helpful and was always available for questions. We will be happy to come back.

Modern style home in a beautiful and peaceful location. Great design elements including furniture and floor to ceiling windows. We loved relaxing with the tranquil views and enjoyed time on the lovely covered deck area. It was wonderful to eat outside even when occasionally drizzling and not worry about getting wet. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. We were able to buy all of the food we needed at the tiny market a couple of blocks from the home.

The place matched the description well. The cottage was well-equipped and located in a quiet area. We came by public transportation and it was easy to find the station. The yard was beautiful in early spring and it was nice to grill before a dip in the hot tub. We had a great time in the urban cottage.

Very nice house, which is perhaps even better live than in the pics. In addition, Jari is a very polite and friendly host. The entire group of ours was very pleased with everything. I can warmly recommend the house and the host!

The villa was more spacious than the photos suggested, the kitchen-living room was spacious, gorgeous, tall, and spacious - our sauna guests fit nicely for a meal with us. The bathroom and separate toilet were clean and new. It was easy to find and great connections, both by public and by car. The sauna was gentle. The location of the place in the immediate vicinity of Nuuksio National Park was perfect for us, the briskers. Communicating with Matti was quick and friendly - our vacation couldn't have been more successful. Warm recommendation for the place.

I travel extensively and this was the best Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in. Apartment is better than the photos and Pihla is excellent at responding.

Anastasia was a great communicator- she met us to check in - she gave us two keys - the Airbnb was very clean and a good location - only about 20 minutes to the pier area - good size - she gave us local recommendations as well - would recommend if visiting Helsinki

We found this house perfect for a "workation", as we enjoyed the beautiful lake and the garden, as well as the living room for working from our laptops. There's an amazing amount of natural light, the house has warm colors, and nice plants. We recommend trying the boat, it's very fun.

I enjoyed my 6 night stay here and loved the location of the apartment. It was mostly organized and clean, but the apartment definitely feels lived in. The printed house manual is very outdated and it didn't seem to have many extra towels, linens, etc. In reading the listing description, I had also expected a different kind of communication. I booked the apartment 4 months in advance and never heard from the hosts - just their co-host that was super responsive. I also couldn't find the dryer so I didn't end up doing laundry. Overall, I would recommend.

Dreamy and beautiful place to be. I fakt like in movie from Lindstrom haha. Beautiful vila ich stunning lake view with absolutely magnificent sunsets. The interior is very beautiful and we felt like at home. Very quiet even if it is near railway station. We came with our 1 yr old baby and it was very comfortable. Magda was very helpful and nice. We definitely want to come back

Iiris and Josh’s place was clean, comfortable, and perfect for our trip. We were traveling with a young toddler, and our hosts provided essentials as well as some thoughtful toys for her. We enjoyed walking around the city during our stay, but it is also fast and easy to get around using the tram stops nearby. Iiris and Josh were very responsive to messages in the app, and everything we needed to know was covered in the detailed house manual.

Apartment is very individually furnished. Nice contact with Antti, who also picked us up from the ferry. The area in which the apartment is located is very accessible by tram from the center.

A beautiful and secluded location outside of Helsinki but just a 15min train to the centre of town. The perfect location to experience both the metropolitan and natural sides of Finland. We loved our stay, surrounded by snow and trees over Christmas. Eevamaria and her family has a Christmas tree setup for our stay which made it even more magical. The house has everything you could need and was perfect for our group of 6 people. Eevamaria was incredibly proactive at providing instructions and answering our questions before and throughout the stay. Would highly recommend!

Tommi was super responsive and a wonderful host. The pictures of the home underestimate the beauty. The views of the harbor at evening are stunning. We had a wonderful stay!

Top location, within walking distance to the train station and other attractions. Shopping, restaurants, everything is very close. The place was very clean, everything was available. Hassle-free communication and check-in thanks to code. Anytime again.

Amazing place, very centrally located!

A wonderfully spacious and nicely equipped apartment with a beautiful and peaceful corner of the city. Great for working remotely, and the comfy bed slept well. Lots of great restaurants within walking distance. I had a great time.

Elina’s apartment in Kallio is a beautiful family home full of modern art and design. We felt we had a very Finnish family experience in an area definitely full of interesting shops, bars and restaurants. It was very easy to go anywhere in the city because there are so many trams and the metro. Even when NYE was on we were able to walk hone from the midnight concert. Highly recommended.
