My partner and I spent a lovely couple of nights with our dog. The place itself is tucked away on a hill, surrounded by trees, with a slight view of the sea from the main living area. It makes for a very peaceful and relaxing weekend getaway from busy Tokyo. The home itself is fully stocked with anything you could need. It has a very interesting design with several levels, making for an interesting layout. The outdoor space is great, including the BBQ and hot tub. The only feature we did not get a chance to use (due to the warmer season) is the fireplace. We look forward to coming back and experiencing the fireplace as well. Akiko was a fantastic host, proactively ensuring that we had everything we needed. Thank you Akiko for hosting us!

[Guest information] 4 male college students 165-170 centimeters tall Travel by car 5 meters long First Villa For dinner, only ingredients provided in pots [Good point] 　It was a very comfortable environment.The surroundings are quiet, and I was able to stay without too much care because there was a certain amount of space from the neighbors' residences.The interior is clean and feels clean.I stayed as four male college students and it's very spacious.In addition, the facilities are perfect, and there is an air conditioner, as well as a stove, a humidifier, a speaker, a Nintendo switch, a pet gauge, etc.In addition, there was a set of card and board games, including Uno and cards.The sheets are also beautiful and clean, and there is no fragrance like perfume or softener, and it is okay for those who are sensitive to scents.The bathroom is also neatly managed and replaced with a new type of item.The first time I stayed at the villa was that I appreciated the large capacity trash can.There is a lot of garbage by cooking and shopping, but there are two large-capacity trash cans at all times, so I cleaned it up.Around the kitchen, there was a set of appliances in each household, such as a rice cooker, microwave, toaster, and refrigerator.Of course, you can cook anything with chopsticks, plates, gas stoves, frying pan, earthenware pot, etc.There will be a fee, but there are also several types of condiments, which can be helpful if you forget to buy them.　　On the TV, you can enjoy paid content such as Amapura and Disney Plus, and you can also enjoy the switch as above. There was no trouble during our stay.I think you won't have to worry about the facilities. [Disadvantage] None. Note - In the winter, it is dark because there are no street lights nearby after 17:00.There are about 100 meters of road pavement on the way, and the steps are great.Please be careful to come by car with a low height. - The area around the villa is narrow.In addition, the nearest parking lot is on a slope and can't be turned around, so it's expected to be in the back.At that time, the parking lot is not very large, so please be careful with cars over 5 meters. - Because the bath is a deluge bathtub, it will be crouched.Please be careful if you have weak feet or are injured. Overall very good.It was confirmed for a repeat visit.

After parking, it takes just about 30 seconds on foot to enter the hotel area and it feels like stepping into nature itself. You are greeted by the fresh scent of grass. The two-story building is entirely made of wood, with a spacious bathroom on the first floor. The second floor features a lobby and rooms, and notably, the bathroom upstairs offers a delightful view of the trees through two large windows. Dining while listening to the sound of the sea waves and stargazing during a barbecue is an amazing experience, especially for someone from the city. I just wish I could have stayed a few more days, although the location is a bit remote. Highly recommend this hotel for a refreshing escape from urban life.

We stayed at Billy's over the Sept long weekend.We were a group of 6 & in Japan its still a struggle to find places that allows dogs. It was really close to our favourite beach, which is within walkable distance.The place is nicely furnished and was very comfortable to stay.Our group loves a bit of vino and were thoroughly impressed by the selection of glassware at Billy's place.The kitchen is fully equipped,so we had breakfast at home every day before heading to the beach.There is a kettle BBQ but unfortunately we couldnt use it as the grill was a bit rusty.Luckily we had brought our portable BBQ so we were able to thoroughly enjoy the deck.The bluetooth speaker made our BBQ even more enjoyable.The beds and linens were clean and are of good quality, so we were able to get a good night sleep. Since we were coming from tokyo, Billy was kind enough to offer friday night for a discount.This avoided a painful traffic filled drive on Sat morning. Also, he gave us late checkout on Monday.

We had a fantastic holiday at Aquaholic in Shimoda! The location of the house is outstanding. We travelled with kids and the location right on the beach is perfect for a family - it’s very convenient to go down to play on the beach and then up to the house for a lunch or a shower. The pizza restaurant next door is a must and you can easily rent surf boards just a few minutes away. As we came off-season the beach was almost empty - yet it was warm enough to play on the beach and swim in the sea! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay soooo much! This house is absolutely wonderful — spacious, new, and just 5 minutes walking to the beach. It’s very unique, cozy, and authentic — we fell in love with every room, every corner. Everything is thoughtfully designed, with so much attention to detail. It’s also just 5 minutes by bike to the supermarket, which was super convenient. The hosts are a lovely, responsive family who clearly put their heart and care into every part of the home. We felt truly welcomed and comfortable here

I stayed for two nights during the New Year holidays It says there are only large plates, but The table was large, so there was no problem There was an earthenware pot and a cassette stove I should have asked (I brought it) I recommend it because it's a comfortable home I was in a hurry to check out I didn't get to say goodbye to Rolf Sorry about that Thanks for your hospitality Thank you

we really enjoyed our stay at the house. The second floor is large and cozy with plenty of room and we used the grill on the covered balcony. It’s a nice neighborhood just up the road from Kisami beach. Thank you!

There was nothing in the section where the accommodation was, and it was a really private place.

A Japanese-style room features three floor mattresses atop tatami mats, with bright yellow bedding accented by black spots. Natural light enters through sliding shoji doors and a large window, while a round paper lantern provides soft lighting. A closet offers ample storage space.

Spacious Beach Home – 350m to Sotoura Beach

Our new favorite spot in Sotoura Bay! The house was spacious and perfectly clean, with all the right amenities. Kitchen tools and utensils were plentiful and clean. It was just the three of us, but I could tell the facilities can handle meals for much larger families/groups. The new aircon units were nice given how hot it's been. You could also tell a lot of work went into renovating the building, making it airy and bright but preserving the original feel. I was particularly impressed by the nice bathroom, which was obviously updated with the latest heating system but maintained old tiles -- rather than converting it to the plastic-y "unit baths" seen everywhere else. The hosts were super helpful and kind. They even sent us a toy we'd left behind... We'll be back!

The location is great.The morning open-air bath was the best.You can cook without any problems as long as you have the seasonings.This time I stayed with just my family, but it's spacious enough to stay with friends and family.
