Family-friendly vacation rentals in Isla Verde Beach

We had a lovely stay at Lydia’s place! The condo was as described and our family enjoyed the space and location. We mostly enjoyed the pool and surrounding areas while we were in Loiza, and it was just what we needed for some r&r. Lydia was responsive and accommodating to a few minor issues we had- thank you so much Lydia for making our trip so special! For other travelers- we did not rent a car and used Uber to get to/from the resort and to the nearby grocery store. Took a little planning ahead but all in all was a great option for us and saved us a lot of $. I would recommend this rental! It was just what our family of six needed to relax and enjoy time together.

We had a great stay at Isabel’s place. It’s a few steps to the beach, which we loved and they had everything accessible for a great beach day. Chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, ect. The private pool area was our favorite part by far.

We had such a pleasant stay at this place during our trip to San Juan! The place was spacious, beautiful, and comfortably accommodated our two small families. We especially loved relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying breakfast on the rooftop—such a great way to start the day. Our hosts, Geraldine and Ted, were incredibly helpful, understanding, and flexible. They responded quickly to all our questions and took care of any small issues right away. Thanks to this lovely home and their warm hospitality, our time in San Juan was truly special.

We had a great time! The view from the balcony is all we needed to get into vacation mode :-). Everything was just as described. It was a great place for us to explore the city and also to get some much needed R&R.

My wife, 2 teenagers, and I enjoyed staying at Cathy’s place. The balcony apartments at Aquatika are great! And the best part is that the apartment is very close to the pools and private beach. I would recommend staying.

We had a wonderful stay at Raphael’s Airbnb! He was an amazing host, super responsive, and quick to help when we had an issue with the hot water. He guided us through the steps to fix it, which was much appreciated. The place itself was in a fantastic central location, perfect for exploring, and had great amenities for our family. The only downside was the lazy river was under construction, but we still had a great time overall. A random tip: the silverware is tucked away in a hidden drawer next to the fridge, but Raphael was quick to point that out. We also highly recommend Don Pepe’s for dinner – it was amazing! And make sure to stop by the Kioskos for a lovely beach, a quick lunch, and some souvenir shopping. We had an unforgettable experience and would definitely recommend Raphael’s place!

Gorgeous gorgeous gorgeous location! The house was very clean and I definitely appreciated the AC! It can take really anywhere from 20-30 minutes to go up the mountain (which I’m not necessarily used to) which slightly felt like an inconvenience but it was a nice private location (also wished maybe the house on the same property wasn’t as close but it wasn’t too bad). Overall I woke up to beautiful views every day and got to end it in a hot tub so overall I highly suggest this place! Also be prepared for many potholes in the road!

This place was a nice getaway. The neighborhood was safe & it was easy to access the apartment. The airport is literally 6 mins away & it’s not a far drive to other attractions. The roosters in the neighborhood will wake you up around 4 a.m. so I suggest having a white noise throughout the night. Overall a nice, comfortable place to stay with very responsive hosts. Something that is helpful to know is that the hot water is actually turned on by turning the knob to the middle, not all the way to the left where the “H” is. I messaged the host and they were able to help with that. There is a peculiar smell in the bathroom. Either the floor or the rug in the bathroom should be replaced possibly, but the apartment wasn’t bad at all. A nice place for the price you pay or for a short trip. Great hosts ! There were others in the apartments attached to the house, but no one was too loud.

This spot was great for us! It had a cozy at home and community feel being a guest suite, outdoor area, and pups and cats around. The space is small, but worked out for us as we only needed it to sleep and bathe. So nice having items for beach available to us: Towels, chairs, coolers, etc. Gigi was so kind and wish I was able to spend more time with her!

Miguel was very understanding and fast with communication. He even recommended places for us to eat at. There was a problem in the house and he quickly resolved that we no issue.We would definitely stay here again! It felt like we were in a safe community and welcomed!

Solmari has curated a beautiful little oasis! The common area with all of the plants and hammocks was so cozy! The unit was comfy, clean, and thoughtfully furnished. The cats were a charming touch, as one particular cat always sat outside my door. I love animals so this was a fun aspect. The host was so kind to answer all kinds of questions I had about some of the excursions I was considering. This is a great location to walk to the beach and a short drive to other great beaches. There are so many great food options within either a short drive or a walk. I could have stayed much longer! Thanks so Solmari for everything!

The space was exactly as described and exactly what we needed! Great location - fantastic neighborhood with close restaurants and a short block walk to the beach. It was perfect!

The place was great! We loved everything about it. The flair, the location, the convenience, the space, the restaurants near by ….all of it. We just got home and my daughter said, she would like to go back…not necessarily Puerto Rico (of course that too) but she specifically said the Airbnb :)

One of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed. The space is perfect and the distance from nice places is spot on. LOVED that is mega eco-friendly. Will stay next year for sure :)

I booked the air BNB for my daughter’s birthday for her and her friends to enjoy. She had a great time . She felt safe . The location was great and the Owner was proactive and helpful .He did everything correctly! I would recommend to anyone! My daughter did say they couldn’t use water for a couple hrs the last day . Was not the owner fault. He still reimbursed me some of the money. I guess for the inconvenience. . Awesome experience!!!!

Staying here was a dream! A great little pool and beach access right out the door - what else could you ask for! The apartment was equipped with all you need for your beach hang stay. Easy walk to restaurants and grocery. Short Ubers around San Juan. Super responsive host before and during stay. Will caution that there was some form of construction every week day during my stay - but I don’t blame the host in that; it’s just communal living. But will forward the caution that if you want to sleep past 8 during the week and it will ACTUALLY bother you - this might not be the place for you until that completes (personally, I just went and napped at the pool lol!)

Rita was a wonderful host. She communicated very well. The instruction were clear and easy to follow. We will come back.

Xavier was a great host! While visiting the country , there was a power outage for a day and a half. He was sure to keep updated on the situation and also bought a battery for us to charge our devices and to connect to wifi. He was pleasant and answered any question that we asked him. The apartment was clean and looked exactly liked the photos. The location was perfect, close to pretty much everything. Would definitely recommend Xavier as a host.

We traveled with a group of two adults, four young adults/teens, and two young kids, and Casa Saffra was the perfect setup for us. The adults and young kids used two of the three bedrooms in the main floor house, and the young adults/teens stayed in the upper unit with two bedrooms. It was nice to have the extra space and some privacy. The pool was great (although neighbors did call in a noise complaint about us one evening - before 8 PM - so if you have an active group, I would be careful if you plan to use the pool later in the evening!). We loved how the location was so close to the beach. I would recommend walking a little farther west and going to the section of the beach in front of the park - less rocks and more space on the beach. It was also easy to get Ubers from there to go to Old San Juan and other areas.

I really appreciated all the amenities at the apartment including washer/dryer, pool, etc. as well as small touches like plenty of toiletries and a whole closet full of beach equipment to use. I was also really impressed by the cleanliness of the apartment as a whole. We had a nice stay.

What a gorgeous and convenient spot! Groceries, beach, restaurants all within short walking distance. We found an amazing spot for breakfast close by. Victoria responded quickly to any requests. We loved having a parking spot available in such a busy area since we had rented a car to use for some excursions. We will be back!
