This home is right on the edge of the national park, which is wonderful, especially when viewed from a hammock on the roof. It is wonderfully quiet (except for the birds!), but the walk to the beach and town is also easy. Natali also helped us set up our activities, which was really convenient. I would highly recommend her home!

Los Flamingos II Apartment

We stayed at Alex’s place for three night while on Isabela - Puerto Villamil is beautiful and very walkable, so Alex’s place is close to the beach, restaurants, tour operators and the flamingo lagoon. About 15-20 min walk (depending on your speed) from the port itself and the entrance toward Concha de Perla. The room itself is large with a queen bed, small desk and office chair, a mini fridge, and a kitchen sink with a plug in stover cooker element. We didn’t use the kitchen but the mini fridge works well and Alex provided drinking water which was great. The bathroom had an extra roll of toilet paper and the shower worked well. Sliding doors open straight out to the balcony which had a hammock. We had a little trouble with the AC and think maybe that model struggles to keep up when it’s the hottest time of year in the Galapagos. Alex has great recommendations for tour providers and things to do on the island - his knowledge is definitely one real benefit of this Airbnb!

A double room in the center, 3 minutes from the beach

We had a great stay at Byron’s place (Hotel La Isla). It is very conveniently located, with the beach, shops and restaurants all within walkable distance. It is about 5-10 minutes walk to the beach front where you’ll find some lovely bars and restaurants. Byron was extremely responsive and was on hand for whatever we needed throughout our stay. Our room was cleaned daily with bedding and towels also replaced every day. The shower has shower gel and shampoo provided. Be very careful not to leave food out in your room as this tends to attract a lot of ants, but this is the case across everywhere we stayed in the Galápagos Islands. Also something to note, every night of our stay we were woken in the night by a very loud rooster from around 5am and he goes on for a while! However as the accommodations in galapagos don’t tend to be double glazed well I reckon this rooster would be heard anywhere in the area. Overall great stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again

There are cafes, markets, restaurants, bakeries around, and a park where you can see the beach and flamingos. Great location.The room is spacious and the bed is clean.She is a kind host who explains everything very politely.Wifi can be used when outside.The whole island is weak, so it can't be helped.Luckily, I had the opportunity to spend time with the host and his friends, which was a very wonderful memory.

The apartment was very large, the kitchen sparse but sufficiently stocked. Everything was very clean! There was water for cooking and free bananas accessible. Nancy proactively approached us on the last night to organize a taxi to the port! All in all, a great stay!

Great stay at Isla Isabela. Very comfortable, clean and spacious apartment. Everything available in the kitchen for cooking a meal. Good cleaning and also additional laundry service available. And a lovely shower. Great place to call home for a few days.

Place is very well recommended, service is top notch - everyday place is cleaned up providing clean towels and making sure guests are having a great stay. I really enjoyed the bananas they put everyday for guests to enjoy, excellent stay!

Nancy was a fantastic and accommodating host. She responded to all my requests including one for a oven tin to bake my partner a birthday cake. The location was perfect and the place was clean and comfortable. It actually exceeded my expectations. I was sad to leave this place!

Convenient place to stay. You live together. Real Wi-Fi would be good, otherwise there is everything. You can even use the washing machine. Kitchen, water, towels, everything is there.

It's a very nice place, simple and with a great home atmosphere. We felt very calm and relaxed, we really enjoyed our stay. Vivi was very helpful and friendly, always attentive to what we needed. The kitchen is super clean and spacious, excellent internet (they have Starlink) and the rooms are very comfortable

Teresa's place is located conveniently 5 minutes from the passenger pier which made walking to it to catch morning ferries easy. Its also about 10-13mins away from the town or beach. Theres air conditioning and the place has no wifi so its free of EMF waves and helped me disconnect. Teresa was really helpful in arranging a taxi and even picking me up on arrival to show me the town and way!

The location of the room was perfect – I absolutely loved the courtyard! It was such a pleasure to sit there and watch the sea. It was also super convenient to take a shower after coming back from the beach. The host provided beach towels, which was really thoughtful. The room had air conditioning and was very quiet at night. The host and their family were incredibly friendly and helpful. One evening when it was raining heavily, they even helped me find a good takeaway option. I also really appreciated the flexible check-in and check-out times – it made everything so much easier. Thank you for a lovely stay!
