Wabo’s On The Water

JessieRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great spot, beautifully set up and well-located. Everything is brand new. Just note there’s a busy pizzeria upstairs—noise runs until about 9–10 p.m., so it’s not ideal if you need daytime quiet (e.g. for shift work).

Boat house on the sea.

JenniferRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a wonderful stay! As other reviews said, there was a smell upon entering (mothballs perhaps?), but didn't bother us and didn't notice it after a while. Although it is dated (that's part of the charm), the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, the beds are comfortable, and the view was perfect. Overall we enjoyed our time there!

Harbour Breeze Suite - Fully Handicap Accessible

MicheleRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
This fully renovated property has huge rooms, all new furniture, linens and appliances, tons of natural light, a double door from the bedroom that opens to a lovely waterfront deck, and the most charming property manager! We had a bit of trouble figuring out the remote control for the air conditioner/heating unit, and Maurice came right over to help us figure it out. Our lovely conversation kicked off an equally lovely stay. There are lots of options for short stays in Chéticamp, but this will be our go-to pied-à-terre. We loved Chéticamp Island (you can reach it by causeway and it offers a great view of The Acadian Trail road winding up the mountains), Cape Breton Highlands National Park, Aucoin's Boulangerie, and Restaurant Evangeline's for breakfast.

Fiddlesticks: Luxury 1 Bedroom Upper Flat

ScottRating, 5 stars5 days ago
Nancy's place was nothing short of amazing. extremely quite and beautiful place to relax with views of the garden and ocean. Place was spotless, spacious and kitchen was well stocked to cook any meal needed. Very comfortable king size bed and lots of natural light shining in. The description of the place doesn't do it justice. Place is close to grocery stores and gas stations. 2 amazing pubs just down the road as well that I highly recommend. Nancy is an amazing host who will go above and beyond to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. Place is better than described. 100% highly recommended for anyone looking to stay in the area and I will 100% be back.

Beautiful, cozy place with a warm, inviting host. Wendy was a great host, and she even put out a blender for me before I arrived (special request). Really lovely for a fantastic price. Only 5 minutes down the road from Port Hawkesbury. Just perfect.

Cabot Trail Lavender Guest House

MichaelRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We stayed in late February as a home base for snowshoeing. Place was perfect for that. Close to the trails we wanted, but also easy to go into town for meals and supplies. House was extremely well equipped, with lots of little extras - snacks, pop, condiments, etc. Hosts were great. An excellent winter weekend visit to Cheticamp.

R&D Retreat

AudreyRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My son and I spent 2 nights with our 2 small dogs here. This retreat was an excellent, comfortable stopping place while we visited the Cabot Trail. Comfortable and homey place to rest up and relax. It was better than expected for the price. Big bathroom with washer and dryer, a cozy loft bedroom and the kitchen had everything you could want. It’s close to the Skyline trail and lots of other hiking trails and beaches to explore near by. Aucoin Bakery is a short walk away and has the most fantastic cheese croissants. Great for sandwiches and all kinds of pastries. At the end of the road is a great little beach with beautiful sunsets, a perfect ending to the day! Ruth reached out before we arrived and made sure we had no problem getting in and had everything we needed. Great place and wonderful hostess!
