Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ilm-Kreis

After my wife and I (as well as our dog) were greeted very friendly and warmly by Christina and her husband, a briefing in the apartment followed. We expected a lovingly furnished apartment, with amenities that left nothing to be desired. Dishes, cutlery, pots and so on, everything you need was available and waiting to be used. Particularly noteworthy, sewing kit for small emergencies and a small FIRST AID bag were there. Even for our dog, food and water bowls were available (dog says THANK YOU). The entire apartment made a very clean, well-kept and cozy impression, this impression was reinforced by the lovingly distributed accessories in the apartment. It was just beautiful…….. Since the apartment is in the backyard, the street noise did not disturb at any time. An extremely cozy porch and a private parking space complete the positive overall impression. We booked the place for a weekend and celebrated our family reunion there. We particularly liked the secluded location and the proximity to the forest. The children could play carefree outdoors, also the large group room with long table and cozy oven was just great! Thank you!

Very friendly and nicely designed. Yes, the entrance, the stairs and the first impression seem a bit spoiled/not completely renovated. But everything is super clean, the house is beautifully located with a very great terrace in the garden and the garden is also available. She has everything ready from firewood to the grill. We were only there one night, but would definitely have felt comfortable with a longer stay! Recommended!

Our stay at Chalet Birkenzauber was magical 🫶 The entire accommodation for us was super cozy, well equipped (unlimited 5G Wi-Fi, 4kSmartTv, coffee maker with all kinds of pad hangers etc...) and offers a magnificent view and because we were there over New Year's Eve we had a fantastic fireworks spectacle! The area had many highlights to offer. The museums, picturesque hiking trails and the snow park towards Oberhof with its versatile winter activities such as skiing, biathlon shooting and a fantastic view. Everything necessary like supermarkets with bakery was right nearby We didn't lack anything. Absolutely recommended for anyone looking for recreation and or experiences. We felt super comfortable in the beautiful house and spent a pleasant short vacation with our friends. Depending on the sun's position and mood, we found many inviting places around the house to linger comfortably up to an exclusive free seat I'm tree house... what more could you want!

Very friendly host and a great place to stay. Great for short trips and hiking trips. The accommodation is a great mix of modern and old building. We highly recommend the place.

As a family, we wanted to spend 3 nights in the direction of Kyffhäuser and so we looked for a great place to stay relatively cheaply. We found this at Steffi's, where we felt right at home from the moment we got the key. Everything was thought of on site and so this place can be recommended with a 5* rating. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely be back. Promise!!

Our stay at this house was all around successful. Particularly cozy was the preheated fireplace, for which sufficient wood was available free of charge. The place was stylishly furnished, and the different rooms made for a pleasant atmosphere. We felt very comfortable. Only a few spiders took some getting used to for my girlfriend :)

We felt completely comfortable! The place was spotlessly clean and well equipped – we didn't miss anything. We were particularly enthusiastic about the cozy fireplace, which ensured a perfect end to the day. We will be happy to come back! :)

Super great place - we would definitely come back if we are in Weimar again. On foot a nice walk to the center(about 15 min), quietly located, have breakfast beautifully undisturbed on the terrace in the sun. Also equipped 1A; even with extras such as slippers (is also quite cold foot), various Playing and books, hot water bottle, coffee grinder & milk frother, tea, spices, etc.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The apartment is as describe if not better. With high end appliances and bedding we felt like we were in a luxury 5 star hotel but with more personality! Checkin and parking was easy and communication was top notch! We highly recommend this place and would love to have stayed longer.

We enjoyed our stay at Stafanie & Dominic's place. It's a spacious appartment clean and suited our needs. Friendly communication as well. It's a nice place to stay if you are in the neighbourhood.

The welcome was very nice and friendly. Afterwards, the apartment was shown to us and details were briefly explained. Arrive and feel at home. There is nothing missing here (incl. leisure tips). I'm sure we'll be back!!

We were completely satisfied. There was everything you needed. The surroundings were very nice green and you could do nice things nearby. For our family reunion, the house was perfect. We felt very comfortable and the house was equipped with everything we needed.

We had a great stay at Prokop's. There is a great outdoor area with play facilities for the kids. The rooms are very nice with 1 double bed in the kitchen. This should possibly be added in the description, it is certainly not for everyone. Our kids loved it. We felt very comfortable and would be happy to come back.

We were extremely satisfied with our small hiking group in Oliver's house over the 1st May weekend and with our choice. The furnishings leave nothing to be desired and there is enough space to enjoy some undisturbed tranquility. In addition to the roles of spending time in the house (sauna, pool, garden), you can also reach many great hiking routes right outside the front door or from the nearby train station. There are also shops in the nearby area, as well as the opportunity to stop. Overall, we can highly recommend the accommodation and will certainly knock on Oliver's door again if we come back to the area.

Lovely house and village

It was a great stay in a very special accommodation that was restored and furnished with lots of taste and love. We felt very comfortable.

We (6 adults and 4 children) spent an extended weekend in Susann and Sebastian's house and felt very comfortable. The house offers plenty of space and is well equipped. In the house you will find plenty of tips for excursions. The communication with Susann was hassle-free and pleasant.

Had a great time as a large family with 3 generations. The house with its great architecture, the view of the lake and the child-friendly amenities impressed everyone. In summer temperatures, we were able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Kai was a very attentive and likeable landlord for us, who also had many tips ready.

We had a great weekend at Cristel's in an exceptionally beautiful apartment. The courtyard and everything around it is also beautiful...you immediately feel very comfortable. Cristel and her partner welcomed us in a super friendly way. A really nice location.
