We had a wonderful stay! The property was delightful with many outstanding features. Very nicely equipped too and the beds so comfortable. Stunning views and space around was perfect. The hosts were excellent...very informative, alwayszavailable and extremely friendly. We'd definitely like to stay here again. The young children loved it too.

What a hidden gem! This cosy cottage was a real home from home — beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and incredibly welcoming from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect: peaceful and quiet, yet just a stone’s throw from a lovely local pub and some wonderful walking trails. The kitchen was very well equipped, making it easy to cook meals when we didn’t feel like going out. Everything was thoughtfully provided, and the attention to detail really showed. We absolutely loved our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in a charming setting.

I live locally and brought my mum and little furry friend to stay at Carr Cottage for a couple nights while we were having work done on our place. We were looking for somewhere comfortable and clean to get away for a few days and maybe enjoy a few nice walks with the dog. We got all that and more. This cottage was such a lovely respite and we enjoyed every second of our stay. It was the perfect little place for us to have a much needed rest & ease the burden of all the craziness going on back home. The scenery was gorgeous, the location peaceful & picturesque, and the cottage wonderfully cozy. Everything was lovingly prepared and clearly done with a lot of care. We were very impressed with absolutely everything and appreciate that so much thought was put into every aspect of the home and making our stay as comfortable as possible. Despite living locally, we don’t venture up Luddenden nearly enough and we would love to come again. Thank you for everything!

I came to Harrogate for a family wedding at the nearby Valley Gardens and needed a property close by with parking. Chris’s place ticked all the boxes and was extremely comfortable, well equipped and clean. It is also extremely quiet at night for such a central location. I would highly recommend staying here as a base to explore everything Harrogate has to offer.

The place was amazing and Heather and Brian were very helpful and just lovely people. The house is in a gorgeous location and the summer house overlooks a wonderful view. There's plenty of good hikes around and places to eat, I wish we had stayed longer!

Great location , stunning views. Very peaceful, lovely garden and patio overlooking beautiful countryside. Local pub , walking distance which served great food and really helpful staff. Hosts really helpful and friendly. The annex was really well equipped and very comfortable, everything you could need on a break. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend

We had an absolutely beautiful chilled weekend away, the little hut and hot tub was amazing, lovely and cozy. Just what me and my husband needed for a relaxing childfree weekend. James was an absolutely amazing host and couldn’t help us enough. The hut was very clean and had everything you needed for a short weekend. We can’t wait to book again and return with our families. Lovely relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings with amazing private pool facilities. David was proactive and gave us all the info we needed to find the cottage and check in easily. Cottage was clean, spacious yet cosy and as per photos. Kitchen was extremely well kitted out. Kids loved the pool. Only slight issue was how hot the bedroom in the pool house was but it was a very hot weekend outside and it didn't spoil the stay. Thank you David, it was wonderful.

Had a great few days over the Easter weekend. The caravan is easy to find, well equipped and spotless. Donna provided clear instructions on how to check in etc and left a little welcome gift which was a nice touch. Would highly recommend for those wanting a peaceful stay on a beautiful site. Plenty to do in the surrounding area - can highly recommend a walk at Gisburn Forest.

Really nice caravan in a lovely location, so nice being next to the park too! Great break for a rest mixed with some beautiful walks and cycling routes about a 15 minute drive from the location, or 30 minutes if you fancy going a bit further out. Lots of extra little touches which make life easier I.e fresh towels, soaps and hair dryer, cleaning products and what not. Stress free break! Highly recommend

We loved our time here, surrounded by nature - and lovely isolated place for a reset. Hoping to come back at some point, possibly for a winter getaway. Everything was dead easy - parking, self check-in, location, lodge itself, just very easy and homely. Highly recommended.

5* accommodation! Comfortable, elegant, quiet and clean country house with welcoming garden in a beautiful part of the countryside. Well provided kitchen, pristine decoration complemented with nice and interesting ornaments. Being there is part of the weekend break.

Mel and Jason’s place was lovely. Communications and instructions were super clear, and lots of ideas for places to go. I was there for a short weekend with my dog and the village was great for little dog walks and a good base for exploring. The place was lovely with everything you might need. I didn’t need any help but I was certain that if I did it would have been no problem. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Beautiful compact one-up/one-down cottage. Communication was great - Olivia was very helpful as we struggled with dates. Love the area! Hope to do another trip.

Absolutely stunning. Karen has thought of everything you might possibly need - and even what you didn't know you needed. It is beautifully decorated and furnished and the experience is like staying in a high class hotel. The location is amazing - right in the centre of town. Karen is also really responsive to any queries . If you are a couple looking to stay in Ripon I would absolutely recommend this place.

Lovely place to have as a base to explore the surrounding countryside. Eleanor was very helpful and gave clear instructions. The place was clean and cosy and Settle is a short walk away with nice pubs and places to eat.

Loved our stay here in one of the best towns in Yorkshire. Walkable to everything. Plenty of room in the bed/living area, comfy bed, comfy chairs, great bathroom, all the basics you need in the kitchen, clean and tidy, easy parking spot. Brilliant quiet location, but in centre of town. 1 minute walk to green lush fields, 15 sec to laundry service, 20 sec to pub, 30 sec to cafe, 50 sec to groceries. Can’t beat that!
