This house was beautiful. We were welcomed in person by a very friendly and welcoming host and the one small issue we had was resolved within 5 minutes of contacting the host. We hope to stay at this property again. An amazing experience!

We loved staying at Scarlett’s place. We had everything we needed and everything was so easy to use. Very responsive host and great for letting us know that the place was ready an hour early! Hot tub was nice and warm with great location and privacy. We went to travellers rest (10 min walk) and the food was so nice and big portion sizes for the price. We even went back later on for the Wednesday night quiz night! Overall great place and would definitely stay again. Thank you

We really enjoyed our stay at this airbnb. The surroundings and building itself are beautiful. We fell in love with the very friendly cat who visited us many times. The balcony and garden are gorgeous and we got incredibly lucky with the weather. It maybe wasn’t as private as the listing suggests but it wasn’t much of an issue for us. The hosts were incredibly helpful to bring us plenty of bottled water while the water mains in the area were having some problems. We had a fantastic stay here.

Wendy was a helpful, friendly and responsive host. The cottage was also such a cute and quirky little spot, close to the beautiful Haworth. Basic breakfast items were also left for guests to enjoy, which was a lovely, homely touch making us feel welcome. You need to park on the main road just a short walk from the property so there were a few more steps to that but the instructions were clearly sent in advance.

Lovely relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings with amazing private pool facilities. David was proactive and gave us all the info we needed to find the cottage and check in easily. Cottage was clean, spacious yet cosy and as per photos. Kitchen was extremely well kitted out. Kids loved the pool. Only slight issue was how hot the bedroom in the pool house was but it was a very hot weekend outside and it didn't spoil the stay. Thank you David, it was wonderful.

Wonderfully peaceful location. Holly Toft is a very comfortable and welcoming place to stay. We paticularly appreciated how much care was given to ensuring the hot tub was spotlessly clean and freshly filled for our arrival. Kathryn is a superb host who clearly cares a lot about her guests. The field full of adorable lambs to look out on was a delightful bonus! Highly recommend! Thank you Kathryn.

We loved the cottage and the hot tub was an added bonus each day after a long walk. It was very quiet, which we like. The cottage was furnished to a high quality and the bed was really comfy. There is plenty of lovely walks close by. We would certainly visit again.

Beautiful little cottage in a lovely, quiet location but close to Harrogate town and all the amenities. Heidi was very helpful and informative before and during our short stay and the cottage was spotlessly clean and tidy with very comfortable beds. Lovely views of the converted church too.

2 weken in Hebden en we hebben een heerlijke vakantie gehad. Het huis van David en Sally is van alle gemakken voorzien en brandschoon. Het ligt midden in dorp en in een prachtige omgeving. De communicatie met Sally is heel fijn en snel en pro actief. We hebben David ontmoet en hij kwam met leuke tips in de omgeving. Beide gezellige mensen. We gaan zeker nog terug naar het huis van Sally en David omdat het heel comfortabel is en omdat het leuk is om ze dan beiden te ontmoeten. Dank voor een fijne vakantie in jullie huis.

A distinctive character cottage lovingly furnished and well equipped, with great views. A short distance from the canals for walking/cycling and only 30 min canal side walk (3 min drive) into the beautiful Gargrave for shops and pubs. Comfortable. Characterful. Well equipped. Lovely bathroom Compact kitchen would be cosy for four to dine, but has all you need and there is space to eat outside (weather permitting) too. It is right beside the A65 so there is road noise but Host Laura says that in the description - it’s a Toll House, so no surprise - but the enormous old walls help stop it being intrusive, and is probably reflected in the great value. The outside area is secure for pets and children. .

had a amazing stay at Heaths house. He was very helpful and let us check in a bit earlier than it stated. it was only a few minutes walk into holmfirth, there was a nice restaurant at the bottom of the road called the winking stag. infact you're spoilt for choice of eateries.

My second stay and it shan’t be my last. It’s a great weekend retreat. Unfortunately, we didn’t quite get the weather but we brought plenty of food and beer and enjoyed the many board games that Lucy offers. There’s something really nice about being free of the internet and the usual distractions. Cottage is incredible, with amenities and essentials going above and beyond what you would expect. Thanks for having us again.

Back home after a wonderful stay at Pine View Lodge. Julian and Sarah Jane are amazing hosts, so helpful and the place is stunning. Wonderful views, well equipped and comfortable. This is a lovely cottage in a quiet courtyard close to town and canal with private parking. wine,biscuits and chocolate welcome pack was much appreciated loved it and hope to return.

We loved our stay in David’s Thump Cottage. Everything was clean, comfortable and peaceful. We spent a day with David touring the Yorkshire countryside and some beautiful gardens, eventually making our way to a lovely, remote, historical pub. We could not have imagined the beautiful day and friendship we experienced. The town (and all the towns) and area is beyond beautiful. We cooked a few meals in the modern kitchen for breakfast and evening meals (we prefer to be home by dark) or ate leftovers from the huge portions served at restaurants and pubs. (Our afternoons were when we visited the restaurants and pubs.) We plan to return to see David and continue our journey north to Scotland someday ♥️ In other words we highly recommend Thump Cottage 😊 Thank you again, David, for sharing your amazing cottage with us. 🏡

We had a fab few days here. Lovely peaceful setting, walkable to the lovely village and pub. Outdoor furniture perfect for watching the sun go down. Friendly hosts and delicious farm fresh eggs! We will be back for sure.

The most amazing stay start to finish, Samatha was so helpful and friendly and such an amazing host she’s created a beautiful home. There was so much to do around and Sam gave us lots of suggestions on things to do, the games room was a massive hit and also the views from the outside patio - especially being able to pet the horse & feed the sheep 🥰 The beds were comfortable & the place was spotless, honestly couldn’t reccomend enough. We loved it and would definitely be back 🫶🏻

We had a wonderful stay at this charming cottage. It’s beautifully decorated, showing how modern comforts can be seamlessly blended with the character and heritage of an older property. The clever use of space meant it never felt cramped—everything was thoughtfully designed and well laid out. We particularly appreciated the dog-friendly touches; our little Cavalier, Charlie, felt right at home. A truly delightful place to stay—warm, welcoming, and perfectly equipped for both people and pups. We’d certainly stay there again.
